I called this company about a faulty iron. The fault was quickly 'diagnosed' & I was asked to pay a fixed repair-fee. However, when 'Michael' eventually got back to me weeks after receiving it, he insisted I would have to pay more to repair another fault, & that it would be better to buy one of his refurbished irons with the repair fee of my old iron put towards that. The 'refurbished' iron arrived but leaked everywhere. I returned it, but it took many emails, calls & text messages & finally the threat of court action to get the cost refunded to me. Michael never did refund the postage either of the old iron or his 'refurbished' one, & never did return my old iron despite repeated requests to do so. He also takes weeks to answer emails or return calls. AVOID

Zero stars if I could. Avoid, avoid, avoid! No response when I asked for a receipt. Now I can’t prove the Rowenta is under warranty so so have to pay £65 to get it repaired.
Whatever you do, don’t touch this business with a barge pole. I’m surprised they’re still in business!!!!

I bought an iron for £140.00. Sent it back as it was faulty. I paid £16.00 to return it. Got told that would be reimbursed and the iron repaired.
The owner was experiencing personal problems so I was patient and understanding but then he stopped replying to emails and text messages.
Got neither refund nor iron. I paid by debit card so lost all money.

This is a scam. I cannot get any response from this place after I sent my Rowenta steam generator. I am going to fund out how to take them to court.

The worst company or person to deal with. Can’t give less than one star!! Basically is a thief, sent our iron to them for repair, lied over the receipt of the iron, until I proved he has signed for it. Then, silence. I’ve had to claim back the fee from PayPal, lost another £20 in postage for the iron to them. I’ve had to buy a new iron now, considering going to court to get the old iron back, just to teach this thief a lesson.Avoid, Avoid.

Wish I could give zero stars. Company was recommended to me but the service I received was very different to the person who recommended them to me. Ordered a X-demonstrator steam generation iron for £150. I received a very old, well worn iron (lettering worn off, enamel worn off the sole plate, filthy (inc someone’s hair inside it), absolutely disgusting state. I estimate the iron was around 5 years old. I emailed twice (no response), I phoned & said I was returning as iron was mis-sold. Asked for return postage & was told no, Michael hung up on me. Returned iron but no refund appeared - had to make a claim via my credit card, and claiming via PayPal for my £17 return postage which I may or may not get back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - likely this company will go out of business very soon.

I don’t know what’s going on they used to be so good!! I rang in October saying need to send you my faulty rowenta but do you have rowenta I can buy as a back up? Agreed £99 machine but after a week it hadn’t arrived so rang and Michael said would chase courier - transpired it had been lost so would send another but in meantime my iron gave up completely and had to buy from curry’s costing £199 so rang left messsge saying don’t send another but keep my £99 and I’ll send you my faulty rowenta for repairs and we’ll sort the refund back after for money left it’s usually £60 to repair- few days later another iron arrived!! Rang spoke to Michael and it was agreed would return and send my rowenta at same -this was last time Michael answered phone to me
Sent both machines and checked and courier had delivered 3 days later signed for by neighbors. Tried chasing up no response so had no choice but to go to PayPal- they got no response and refunded me my £99 which is great but he has my rowenta!!! I’ll never see that again so don’t know what’s happened to this company but feel very angry so it’s a 1 starcand don’t use comment - IF I get it back will write another review

Horrendous company to deal with had to do a County Court Judgement before I got my iron back & after using it twice it has once again stopped working. Absolute shambolic company and the owner Michael Gambier lied for over a month about returning my iron

I share the same comments as those before me. This is a really shoddy company. They promise loads but deliver none. They ignore my phone calls and my emails. I am now left with a faulty replacement Rowenta steam generator iron (after they couldn't fix my Tefal steam generator) and am out of pocket as I now have to purchase another iron - although this time I will purchase from a 'proper' company - BE AWARE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Sent my steam iron for repairs because the power was not coming on. They told me they fitted new power supply. When I got the iron back I was not at all impressed with what I saw. They had repaired my iron using 2nd hand parts! The power cable was totally discoloured and wouldn't wind back in. When I used the iron the steam discharged from the base unit instead of the iron. When I contacted them I was told that the solenoid valve was faulty. How can it be? Everytime the trigger on the iron was pressed the steam released from the base unit. It meant that the steam pipe was not properly put back on. They had to remove that pipe to get to the power unit. I had paid by PayPal so I complained to them. It didn't help. So PayPal refunded me. I didn't want a refund. I wanted my iron repaired. So PayPal asked me to send it back and they would repair it. I did and now I can't get it back. Arranged for independent repair company to collect and assess their repair. When the courier went to collect the parcel was refused ( according to the courier ). Now my emails are going to their SPAM folder! I suppose they want to keep my iron so they can use the parts! COWBOYS. Avoid at all costs. Instead use ' Repair it Reuse it' .
I would have given no stars if there was an option. Using used parts and charge for new! And not testing after repairing.

Used this company for several years now. Quick to respond and offer good advice when requested.

On 11/06/2017 15:42 I ordered a DG8960 Silence Steam generator iron for £149.99. It was just too big for me, so rang Sales department and arranged to send it back and then to order a handheld steam iron. The Steam generator iron was returned and arrived on Friday 30th June at Ironsrus. After many weeks and many emails, on 31st July, I agreed to the Rowenta dw9217 for £70 and a refund of £80. I received the refund of £80 very promptly, so that was great, but as yet have not received the hand held Rowenta dw9217 - 2/9/2017. I have emailed numerous times but had no response or Iron. I don't know what to do now.

BEWARE!. All the 1 star reviews on google reviews are true and can't believe they are doing it with everyone.I sent my Tefal iron and was supposed to get it back in a week. I did not receive it for 2 months and then they sent me a broken one after repeatedly calling and emailing them . On calling back, they lied and told me they fixed the soleplate and they had done nothing. I did not dare to send it back as I am sure they will then claim that it never reached them. I have requested a chargeback from my credit card company. PLEASE STAY AWAY if you care for your sanity!!

Also I noticed later that the company is dissolved in Companies House website in 2016 so they have no liability and should not even trade and repair irons!!!

My trusty steam generator iron stopped heating up and I could not afford a new one. We sent off the iron for a free quote, next day we got a phone call telling us how much it would cost which was very reasonable as it included return postage. The iron came back the next working day in full working order, very impressed.
