IsEasy failed to honor its one year waranty for a range vent hood
I bought an IsEasy range vent hood (model TF2390A-AC-I1) through eBay on December 7, 2024. I installed the vent hood in a rental home that was not occupied until July 2024. Within two months, the vent fan stopped working. It was confirmed that AC power was getting to the vent hood, as the light still worked.
I made several calls to the IsEasy customer service phone line, 888-907-5060, between Sept 2025 and Dec, 2025. I also sent several emails (to support__iseasy.com and service__iseasy.com) requesting warranty coverage by sending me replacement parts that I could install myself (a thermal fuse, control board, and/or fan motor).
The IsEasy phone rep, Paola, was consistently courteous and helpful; however, she was not authorized to send replacement parts or to receive email communication from me.
I got an initial reply to my Sept 2025 email with a list of troubleshooting steps, which I followed to no avail. Paola advised me to email a short video of the non-functional fan to the support email address, which I did.
I received no additional email responses from IsEasy after the initial response to my first September email. On or about December 10, Paola informed me that the Support department advised her that no help would be provided to me since the one-year warranty period had just expired. This is a brazen and disingenuous evasion of warranty responsibility by IsEasy, since my efforts to get warranty support going back to Sept 2025 are well documented. According to Paola, IsEasy sends out a significant number of warranty service repair parts, however, they failed to honor their warranty for me.
