Fraudulent listing of device
Fraudulent listing of device. On 2/4/24, they sold me a phone that was simply listed as"carrier locked". If it were simply carrier locked, the lock can be reversed after the device is paid off. They fraudulently neglected, however, to notify me that the device was not simply carrier locked, but PERMANENTLY BLACKLISTED by the carrier instead due to lack of payment. They never disclosed the financial blacklist PERMANENT carrier lock due to unpaid device balance. The outstanding balance owed to the carrier is over $1000. I didn't discover that the device was permanently blacklisted until 4/1/2026 when I tried to change mobile providers and was informed that the device was permanently blacklisted, which is totally different than the simple, usual carrier lock that the seller implied in the listing. This was clearly false, deceptive advertising. They should clearly warn consumers that the phone was blacklisted, which is completely different than a simple carrier lock, as they are well aware of, but neglected to include in the Ebay listing. They were negligent in failure to disclose the blacklist due to unpaid balance on the device, and refused to admit that this deceptive advertising was wrong. Buyer beware!

To me that is a true sign of professionalism and in this state and age it’s a very uncommon business practice. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell electronics.

The process was easy, but slow. You can speed it up, however you have to pay extra. They do bait you in with higher offer amounts, but when they do the inspection they always find some issue resulting in a lower amount. They do offer to send it back, but by the time it’s at the stage, it didn’t make sense. This ploy has been an ongoing complaint with other people. I have dealt with ItsWorthMore on several occasions, and you would think by now I would have learned my lesson. Each time I have dealt with them, they have been very shady and dishonest in their sales tactics and looking at similar complaints on the Internet, this seems to be common practice.
When looking to sell your device, such as an Apple product, ItsWorthMore lures you in with a higher quote than all the other online resellers. Once you begin dealing with them, you understand why. Their aim is to get you to sell your device to them and then downgrade the value of the device once in their possession.
I submitted three Apple items to them for sale. All three items were downgraded in value by the company. Mind you, not the first time this has happened as they tried to do the same thing with an iPhone sale a few years back that I had to fight them on and finally won.
In this case, I sent them a pair of Apple AirPods Max. I was quoted a price of $190.00. They downgraded the value to $170 citing there were scratches on the headphones.
They paid me without my consent. Usually, they will send an email asking for consent to send payment based on their valuation. In this case, they rushed payment to me and closed the sale.
I reached out to the company several times asking for them to send me photos showing damage on the device. Each time, they refused to send me photos and gave me the run around instead.
As of this complaint, they have had my device for more than two weeks and still refuse to send me proof of their valuation despite my many requests.
Every time I email the company or call them, they give me excuses as to why they cannot immediately look at my device after having it in their possession for more than two weeks (and promising resolution within 7 days).
The fact they are playing these games with me at the moment and refusing to send me photos of my headphones they claim have scratches on them tells me everything I need to know about the reputation of this company.
I would do a deep dive into the negative reviews that have been posted about this seller across the Internet. There are many, and there is a reason for that.

I had a very frustrating experience selling two 2019 Mac Pros through ItsWorthMore.com.
I was initially quoted around $1,900 for both machines. After shipping them (and paying extra for their “Shipping Protection”), the offer was reduced significantly to about $1,200 due to alleged physical damage.
The bigger issue is how “Shipping Protection” is handled. Their Terms state that they assume the risk of transit damage and will pay the full offer value in such cases. However, in my situation:
No declared value (carrier insurance) was applied to the shipment
No claim was filed with the carrier
Responsibility was denied based on packaging conditions
So despite paying for protection, there was effectively no coverage when it mattered.
To make matters worse, a payout was processed without my approval while the dispute was still ongoing.
I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and even proposed a reasonable compromise, but the company stood firm on their reduced offer.
At the end of the day, the issue isn’t just the lower payout—it’s that the protection service did not function as represented. If you’re considering using this company, I would strongly recommend understanding how their shipping and “insurance” actually works before sending in high-value items.

I understand your position regarding packaging requirements and internal claim conditions. However, that does not address the core issue.
Your Terms state that Shipping Protection assumes the risk of transit damage and pays the full offer value in such cases. In practice, no declared value (carrier insurance) was applied, no claim was filed, and no compensation was provided under that protection.
This leaves the customer without any effective coverage, despite paying for it.
Had standard carrier insurance been used, there would have been a defined claims process to evaluate the damage. Instead, the outcome is determined entirely by internal review, with no external claim path.
The concern here is not simply the adjusted offer—it is that the Shipping Protection service does not function in a way that aligns with how it is described to customers.
In addition, the carrier was provided with your packaging instructions and was contracted to package the equipment accordingly. In a typical insured shipment, this would create a clear path to evaluate responsibility through the carrier. However, because no declared value (carrier insurance) was applied, there is no external mechanism to hold the carrier accountable for any transit-related damage.
This is why the issue is not simply a packaging dispute—it is that the Shipping Protection described in your Terms does not function as a practical or enforceable form of coverage in this situation.

Absolutely terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience with ItsWorthMore from start to finish.
The first issue was the timeline. They advertise a 4–7 business day turnaround unless you pay extra for faster service. When day 7 came and went, I called for an update and was told it would probably take another 5 business days. No proactive communication, no apology, nothing. I asked to speak with someone in charge, and the representative said someone would call me back before the end of the day. No one ever did.
When they finally reviewed my device, there were no issues with it. I included the original factory power cable and everything requested. Then they decided they didn’t like the cable layout and reduced the offer price because of it. At that point, after already wasting so much time, I just agreed so I could be done with the process.
To make matters worse, they didn’t even send the cable back, despite saying they wouldn’t use it. That cable was worth around $50.
Then payment took another full day to arrive, and the payment method they used ended up hitting me with fees.
Overall, slow process, poor communication, changed pricing, kept accessories, and extra fees. Bad business all around.

I will say this, I've had good and bad experience with itsworthmore, their were mistakes made by both parties, including myself, but....., like I said, I had good and bad experiences.
Scammers
They tried telling me that 3 laptops had bad batteries when I have diagnostics showing the batteries were all good before sending. When I brought it to their attention, instead of making it right; they lowered my offer even more in retaliation. This company will try to scam you out of money once they have your laptop. Just get it returned and use a different site.
