The person I primarily spoke with is…Evan Dawson
The person I originally spoke with is somebody they called 'Coach Beau' (I will continue to search my archives for Beau's last name, it escapes me for now), who was the person on the initial 'digital marketing class' sales presentation. A Prior contact was with a 'head hunter' who used the handle -Matt Turnipseed whose role was to arrange for a credit check and to do the initial question and answer on the program. Having completed those steps, Evan Dawson instructed the class.
In Coach Beau's presentation he described a class and follow up program that would provide full class and post class graduation support. This is the key reason I purchased the program and made it clear as such with each person I had contact with. However in spite of being fully engaged for well over a year, even while working a full time direct hire job, I found the support to be well short of the mark.
After four unsuccessful requests of the video copy of the specific presentation call that I was on, a couple of years ago from DJ Academy, I did not receive it, but they did send me a video recording of another presentation Coach Beau did that i was not on. I will attach it to this report if possible. It will give the viewer an idea of what Coach Beau described for the class and the support provided in the program. My conclusion is this presentation was considerably 'watered down' as compared to the lofty claims made in the presentation I was a part of, leading me to believe that this is the purpose for sending this presentation when requested by students.
During the class with Evan Dawson the instruction fell somewhat short of the completion date dead line that Evan was required to complete the class course material by, and consequently some key technical information required to properly work with the FaceBook platform was not completed in the class. This came back to haunt me later on when setting up the platform marketing programs. I have a video copy of the class (as long as it still executes).
After many unsuccessful contacts and attempts to resolve these issues I sent a letter to DJ support requesting a refund of my money, it took roughly 6 to 9 months to get a reply. I sent another letter later on to Evan Dawson's personal email account which I found later. I was denied a refund. I will attach the letter and email cover page here if possible.
Based on a conversation I had with another student in my class and the actions of a second student in my class and my own experience as well as some other consumer site reports I found given by other former students, my conclusion is the support level that DJ academy claimed to have in place at the time of my enrollment was more of a description of their future goals than what they had in place then. Indeed I found later on when attempting to contact DJ support that they had an actual support address for their site as compared to when i was active with the program we were told to use a support ticket site on a Facebook page. While I can surmise that they do have successful students it seems that many students are falling through the cracks so I simply believe they took on more enrollments then they could handle at that time.
