Was fortunate enough to have Tom as my instructor for the three-day course, who was absolutely brilliant. He broke down our mechanics and showed us where we could improve things, spoke with clarity and authority on the fundamentals of every aspect of golf - and was a great laugh too. All among a brilliant setup at the JAGS - genuinely a brilliant instructor and I can't recommend him and the school enough.

Spent 3 days with Tom earlier this month and couldn't recommend him more - incredible attention to detail while working across all four of us and feel like I've come away with an incredibly comprehensive understanding of what a good swing looks like as well as how to approach chipping, putting, getting out of the bunker etc. Tom has a really patient and calming manner about him which is a perfect antidote to how frustrating golf can be. 10/10, no notes.

I was fortunate to be able to work with Tom for 2 half day sessions, he took me through each aspect of the half swing before building out the full swing, we also covered chipping, putting, bunkers and driving. The format was excellent and Tom delivered a tremendous improvement in my ball striking and confidence over the ball. The video summary and multiple pages of tailored notes at the end were exceptional - detailed and a great aide memoire. The video analysis was the best I have experienced and not overly reliant on the trackman numbers, which suited me very well. I cannot recommend Tom's coaching more highly, I shall certainly be back for some of the afternoon one-to-one sessions. Not all golf coaches deliver equal value but you can have confidence that working with Tom will improve your game. All great from my perspective and no reservations whatsoever.

My friend and I attended the two day intermediate course with James Andrews School of Golf, with our instructor Joe.
We found him to be clear, concise, very patient, using the trackman he was able to specifically hone in on the areas that we needed to focus on, highlighting them clearly to us.
The clear drills, videos and guide have given us something to continue to work on and we have both seen considerable improvements in our game and scores. (We started at handicaps 13 and 19)
I would really recommend this school for anyone who is looking to improve their golf game, whilst I have had golf lessons previously, for me it was the opportunity to really focus and repeat the swing over the two days, which really helped me understand and embed what I needed to do to improve my swing.
Thank you Joe for being such great instructor and keeping it fun. We have both said that we plan to return next year, for me this type of learning is more beneficial than sporadic lessons, although I will continue to have some lessons from our Pro to keep me on track.
We found both Golf courses were interesting and challenging and overall it was a great weekend break.

If you’re undecided on whether to book with James Andrew’s Golf School, book it now, it will likely be the best golf decision you ever make! Everything was superb and the instructions kept simple. Honestly the best golf lessons you’ll ever have!

I’ve just completed a brilliant two-day golf tuition experience at the James Andrews Golf School and I couldn’t be happier. James is an incredibly knowledgeable instructor and a great communicator. We covered every aspect of the game, from swing mechanics to putting and bunker play, and I saw instant improvements, especially around the greens. The swing changes are still bedding in but I can already feel (and see) the benefits. Overall, a fantastic and really enjoyable couple of days. Highly recommended.

I recently attended the 3 day Intermediate Golf School at the James Andrews School of Golf with Tom Hatton and it was absolutely perfect for me. There were so many things that I learned during the three days that were real lightbulb moments for me. Things I never would have figured out on my own, by looking at YouTube videos or reading books. Tom was patient and answered every question clearly and, in some cases, multiple times. It does take work but since I have come home there is no doubt that my golf has improved and, more importantly, when it doesn't work out I have a far greater idea as to why it didn't and it is pretty much always because I haven't done what I was told to do. My next goal is to join one of their holidays over the next 1-2 years if I can for further instruction. I can't recommend it enough.

I had a second day with Joe Queen at the James Andrews golf school who was patient, informative and knowledgeable and did his very best to take me through changes to my swing and provide practical tips for improvement. A genuinely nice guy who listened and answered any questions I had with easy to follow answers. I clearly have some work to do but I feel I have a few more tools in the toolbox to help me and also the videos to fall back on.

My wife and I booked in for a 3 day pre- season “boot camp”, as we both felt we were playing too much and not focusing on the right things. Tom was fantastic at analysing our swings and then giving us fixes to work on, whilst not altering our natural swings. It’s definitely working. Thank you Tom and James for making us feel so welcome, we will be back one day when we need another top up! BTW shout out to The Crown in S-B-N, an outstanding place to stay only 5 mins down the road.

I went to James Andrews Golf School only 10 months after I had started learning golf. The experience was amazing, and I wish I had known about the school even earlier on in my golfing journey. I loved the focus on swing fundamentals, the clarity with which our teacher (Joe) explained the different elements of the swing, and the final trackman analysis which is my go-to whenever I slip back into my old habits. I'll definitely be back.

Really enjoyable and beneficial experience with Joe. He did a great job of managing the different requirements within the group, tailoring his advice to suit. The 3 days really helped the lessons to sink in, allowing for a good amount of feedback, as I progressed. A very comfortable and welcoming environment also, I liked the group dynamic and enjoyed getting out on the course with the others, after the lessons. Definitely would recommend.

Superb instructor in Joe Queen who taught us in an intentionally small group of 3 and who took great care and interest in skillfully covering all aspects of the game. Great follow up with video and detailed commentary.
The hotel and food was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Great value for the money.

I first attended a James Andrews Golf School session many years ago when they were located at Seddlescombe. Was overjoyed to find them again as my golf needed some serious attention! A 3 day session with Joe was just the answer - huge focus on swing, strike and finish. But that was not just it - much attention also on understanding the process and not only the outcome.

Really enjoyable and informative three days. The instructor, Tom, was very clear in his analysis, and we repeated the different swings etc over the three days, which made it easier to remember the main points.
It was all very relaxed and has set me up for the winter. Would highly recommend the school.

The entire 2 day experience and training was exceptional. Intimate 4 person beginner group and must say Tom’s patience and knowledge transfer was second to none. Tom’s coaching throughout the 2 days was extremely professional and props to him for making everything so digestible. The video analysis in the studio was incredibly valuable in breaking down and unlearning bad habits. Cannot recommend enough for any beginner.

Great way to learn we did the three day course Tom was great at making you feel relaxed and the course was very informative and enjoyable. He covered all the aspects of my game that I needed help with in a simple and straightforward way . The hotel and food were very good and the two 18 hole courses were challenging but really helped putting what we learnt in toms lessons into practice everyday . Would highly recommend

Tom’s approach was thorough with explanation of the mechanics which often helps. I loved every minute of the three day program. I am much more confident and hope to reduce my handicap soon.

I recently completed the “3 day Intermediate course” and now wished I seen this before. A great course, which opened my eyes to some things that I‘d never been shown or taught before. Joe, our instructor for the 3 days, was very knowledgeable, and had a great way of passing on this information. Good analysis with the video, as we could see our progress throughout. The Constable and Gainsborough golf courses were both challenging and enjoyable, but very hilly, so I would recommend hiring a buggy (for both courses). The hotel attached was great too, with excellent facilities. I stuck to the Sports bar and the food there was very tasty with plenty of options. I would definitely recommend James Andrews Golf School to anyone that was thinking about tuition.

A great birthday present from my wife. Tom was my instructor for the intermediate 3 day course. We were taught in a group of 4. This course surpassed my expectation and was worth every penny. The course is so well structured and I now feel that I have a repeatable swing process and better understanding of the body’s mechanics n relation to transfer of power to the ball. Tom was fantastic and I will definitely return despite a four hour journey, that’s how good the course and instructors are. Brilliant!

Joe welcomed us at the start of our 3 day journey and began to help us understand and change swings for big improvements. Everything was thorough and methodical and followed up with video analysis of swing preparation and routines. The hotel stay worked well and was very convenient. We were very happy with our time and are very thankful to Joe for his patience and clarity.
