A lot of things didn't make sense while learning Japanese. I knew how to say phrases and some vocabulary from other sources, but I didn't know why it was structured the way it was until I came across the Japanese mastery method. It just made a lot of things, if not everything, make sense. The whole team is wonderful and also attentive and seem dedicated to making sure you learn the language. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I wish I found them sooner... If I had four thumbs, I'd try to give them 8 thumbs up!

Japanese Mastery Method is effective and fun, everything is explained in a way that is easy to understand and remember.
Before you know it you will be speaking Japanese and you will have effortlessly mastered many of the grammar basics.
It's a great feeling to communicate effectively with the locals in Japan which would have been unthinkable for me before taking this course. Amazing!

Enroll in this course FIRST! I cannot stress that enough! I've spent money on the "higher end" learning software, Apps, Books etc. and none of them hold a candle to this course/podcast. Get some blank flash cards, take your time and you won't regret it. Wish I would have found this course sooner

I've been really impressed with the practicality of the tuition with plenty of amusing "power phrases" to help you remember all those awkward words and a common sense and easily comprehensible way of explaining the dreaded particles. There is a good flavour of this in the online material Japanese Made Easy and the two hour guides to hiragana and katakana. It has helped me make huge progress with what is, let's face it, not the most straightforward of languages. I actually stumbled on mastery method from his more advanced podcast, and worked my way backwards. I have been enjoying the lessons thoroughly and feel much more confident about going back to Japan!

I've tried to approach japanese learning on textbooks, but probably didn't find the right ones. I did this course while commuting to work and I'm so happy with the results. I feel like I'm retaining what I learned and I'm ready to build up on it. Definitely feel more confident for my next trip to Japan!

The course is great for someone starting with no knowledge of Japanese. I started off with their free podcast and eventually purchased JMM. I will say that Greg and his team make things easy to comprehend. Japanese is not a easy language but their method really helped me get my foot in the door. This is a great course for those who want to get started on their journey of speaking Japanese.

I have an MA and a BA in Linguistics and along the way I've taken a lot of language courses. Japanese Mastery Method is one of the best I've seen, especially when it comes to self-study. For a more than reasonable price, you get a ton of content that is still expanding. It fit my needs very well and it really helped me kick off my journey into learning Japanese.

There’s no better online course for learning Japanese. I tried apps like babel and duolingo and this is on another level. Gregg has awesome techniques to help you remember everything. And he really breaks down the grammar and nuances and explains the literal translations in English.

I couldn’t believe how much I learned in the beginning that wasn’t explained even halfway through the app courses like babel and duolingo. They also give you pop quizzes and are there anytime if you need anything.

It helped me get to the bones of japanese really easy, is such a wonderful approach to learning japanese. After studying Japanese via textbooks, Duolingo, and watching a ton of Netflix “J-Doramas,” I’ve finally found JMM! This course teaches the language in a way that really sticks with me and makes me actually understand (and not just memorize) how to easily and naturally form a variety of sentences thanks to techniques like Super Literal Translation. Learning SLTs of words and phrases has taken my comprehension and speaking skills to much higher levels than other learning methods I’ve tried. At first I didn’t know what to think of the often completely ridiculous Power Phrases, but I have to admit that they really are effective to ensure you won’t forget new words. I also appreciate the tips regarding Japanese polite and casual interactions - so helpful to avoid being “that person” who offends others within five seconds of starting to talk! If learning dreaded particle use “rules” have made you go into instant panic mode in the past, you’ll love JMM techniques which make particle use much more painless and successful!

I started with the podcast on spotify and then wanted more so signed up for the whole course. Going to Japan in a few days and this has been the best way I've found to keep improving, especially realistic conversations and understanding more of *why* things work the way they do.

The mnemonics they have are really cheesy but that makes them effective, so I found myself really remembering all the words much faster rather than forgetting them when reading in a textbook or other sources.

I had also bought a bunch of textbooks, have duolingo and other things, watch shows in netflix, etc. but I've found this one to be really more effective in learning rapidly.

Email support has also been very friendly and sent me more tips and details.

I'm a huge fan of this course. All the material is super clear and easy to remember.

The course introduces the language at a measured pace that ensures you do not get overwhelmed yet feel like you’re making good progress after each lesson. The power phrases and super literal translations are a great aid for both retention and understanding. A large emphasis is placed on speaking and listening skills. The course includes ‘reality check’ videos that are recordings of the learnt language being used during casual situations in Japan. The staff are very friendly and responsive to enquiries. I highly recommend this course!

Japanese Mastery Method is simply the best! I also finished the Japanese Made Easy podcast then tried J.M.M. If you did the podcast, have no doubt that is great as expected. Thanks to Greg`s teaching, for me Japanese went from "Not sure if I can do this.." to "I can do this!!" Really glad to have found this program and a big fan.

By far the best Japanese course I've tried. Since I learned so much from the Japanese Made Easy podcast, I decided to give Japanese Mastery Method a try. The teaching style is working better for me than anything else has. Wish I'd come across this program sooner!
