I took my 3 teenagers on Jason Black's Kilimanjaro excursion July 2025 lead by Benson and Lipman and their team. What a fabulous experience we had. Food, Accommodation, facilities, expertise,leadership and wellbeing all considered and catered for to the highest standard.

The Four Peaks Challenge is a well organised wonderful adventure involving climbing the four highest peaks in each province - well organised by Jasonblack.ie there is great advance prep guidance together with on site guiding to make it a truly memorable experience

Our family had a truly wonderful experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Jason Black Mountaineering. From start to finish, the journey was exceptional. Jason and his team bring an incredible depth of knowledge and experience that goes far beyond words — their passion, professionalism, and care made us feel supported every step of the way.

This trek wasn’t just a physical challenge; it became a spiritual journey for all of us. The mountains, the culture, and the shared moments along the trail helped us grow both physically and emotionally. Jason’s leadership created a space where we could push our limits, embrace the beauty of the Himalayas, and truly connect as a family.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jason Black to all my friends, and we’re already looking forward to our next adventure with him!

I have been on a number of trips with Jason in the last 3 years and am just back from an incredible one to Morocco, undertaking the 7 Summits Challenge in the High Atlas mountains. What a week - meticulously planned and operated from start to finish. A trip with Jason isn't just about summitting peaks but about diving into the local culture and enjoying every step of the journey with a team of like-minded individuals. Jason and his teams are incredible at pushing you outside your comfort zone, safely, so that you grow and develop confidence in the high mountains. Next trip with JB is to Kilimanjaro and I have no doubt that there will be future trips also.

I recently completed the Ireland Four Peaks Challenge with Jason Black and his team.

The challenge is rather tough but very rewarding and suitable for anyone with a decent level of fitness.
Everyone who took part competed the challenge, guided and encouraged by Jason, which ends on the summit of Mweelrea with its spectacular views all round.

Jason and his crew were exceptional. The event was very well organised and great fun.

So if your up for a challenge to remember, the Four Peaks is well worth considering and I cannot recommend Jason Black highly enough.

Anyone can take you to Everest Base Camp, but not everyone can take you on a magical journey to get there. It's a once in a lifetime experience and that's why I would 100% recommend Jason Black Mountaineering.
The walking, the mountains, the views, the locations, they're the same for everyone. But what we had that was different was total immersion in the culture. Every day we got to experience REAL Sherpa life, the REAL Nepal, not the rose-tinted tourist view, real life, with real people. Who live and work in these mountains. Jason has built so many fantastic connections, with friends and colleagues from Kathmandu to the summit of Everest and everywhere in between. They want to share their mountains with you. And that's what made it magical. From meeting Kanchha, the last remaining survivor of the 1953 expedition, to being blessed in the Lama's house and temple, to seeing yeti remains, eating a Sherpa banquet, being welcomed into Sherpa homes, seeing first hand their reverence and worship of these majestic mountains. Every part of the trip was beyond memorable. I was lucky enough to take a helicopter ride and to bungee jump off the Hilary Bridge, and that neither was the highlight of my trip.
The Himalayas are truly awesome, but they are also a very dangerous environment, and Jason and his team were worth their weight in gold with tough decisions that we were too inexperienced or too excited to make for ourselves. A brilliant trip, brilliantly managed, brilliantly delivered. Can't wait till the next one

Located in Tanzania Mount kilimanjaro is the African Continent's highest Peak at 5895m (19,340ft.) the Majestic Mountain is a snow capped Volcano, it was an amazing Experience from start to finish.having had my own Adveristies back in 2015 it made this Adventure all the more worth while .So l dedicated this Trip to the lrish guide dogs Donegal branch, Collecting €11.500 for the charity, We had great Leadership and a great Team Ethic,"one Team one Dream"just to Thank jason & his Amazing Team
