Communication has been Great!
Amy has done an excellent job with communication and accurate expectations. She has been prompt and knowledgeable in everything. Product was as expected and production time was good.

Bad quoting software. Said free shipping and then they called and said they needed 300 more to ship it after the part was fabricated. Then they asked for shipping address but they still shipped it to my old address. Update: They reached out my and apologized and said they are working on updates. I have used them many times in the past without incident! Albeit I never used the sheertmetal service.

Poor Quality parts on our second order of the same parts. Went back and forth for 3 months, was told we used a different process (we used to checkout for the same processes). Communication dropped off multiple times trying to figure out a resolution. Would never recommend.

The personal and immediate service from Jawstec staff is stunning. They help you figure out plans and strategy as you submit designs. And they have been this way for the almost two years that I've been consulting and receiving prints from them. Excellent customer service.

These chuckleheads thought it would be a good idea to ship a critical shipment to Canada VIA UPS. any Canadian readers will cringe just reading this because of how bad UPS is trans Canada border. All you have to do is check reviews on UPS or better yet search of CanLii legal database will show how abusive UPS is of Canadian consumer protection laws via unauthorized brokerage.

Jawstec does not disclose that they ship UPS on the ordering form. Furthermore they were told the date it MUST arrive on the order form, they should have done some research into who they were shipping with.

In any case after HOURS of arguing with UPS over my right to use my OWN broker and not pay them literally 30% brokerage they finally dropped their ridiculous brokerage charge if I would just pay the taxes. As this would be the same cost if I had gone through my own broker I agreed. the package briefly showed that it was going to be delivered the next day, then it showed it was being returned to sender, despite the fact I paid the tax already. This I suspect was the UPS driver being lazy and not wanting to make a return trip so he falsely marked the package RTS or UPS being vindictive.

After contacting Jawstec about the problem, and being hung up on multiple times, they told me they would call me when the package arrived back to them.

They did not do this, they without contacting me then sent it back using Fedex Ground!, this was a time critical package!! that was already messed up and they sent it ground!!!!!. Had they actually called me as they said they would I would have given them my Fedex account number and had it shipped next day Air. But no, they can't follow basic instructions they agreed to and I spend the next number of days calling my contacts in Fedex to unmess the situation. Fedex pulled off a minor miracle and changed the priority for me, but in order to get it before my flight I had to travel 6h to meet the package along the way costing me over $200.00 in gas and tolls and a number of years off my lifespan in terms of stress. In the end I did get the package, and though not well printed, they were good enough for the demo. The color was inconsistent and uneven but WTH, it was "good enough" not awesome but good enough.
but the amount of grey hair they caused me by not being very clear who they ship with, then not contacting me when they said they would was a complete circus and caused me way more grey hair than any company has a right to do. Lessons learned, and im not likely going to give them a second chance in the future. My business need clear, consistent and well communicating suppliers. Mostly when my customers call me, you know what has hit the fan and its nearly always an emergency job and I need players who can keep their eye on the ball.

Also they seem to like to flag negative reviews, which is an issue I've brought up with trust pilot. If they keep this up they run a chance of getting their account flagged for report abuse.

Easy to use website. This made the ordering process very seamless.

I have been designing a 3D printed product for 6-8 months and was using Jawstec for prints. I would receive one beautiful print then 4-5 that were completely different with warped features, rounded areas that should be crisp, and tolerance issues greater than what is referenced. I reached out to them numerous times explaining this and either they would ask for me to ship it back or explain why it's normal. And if I didn't ship it back within 7 days I lose my store credit. I'm busy so if you deliver a service that is flawed, don't make me need to take more of my time to help you fix it. This experience had me convinced that it was my model and it just wasn't good for printing...until I found an alternative in the US (RE3DTECH) that delivers amazing prints every time.
Some are not perfect, but that's ok. This is just my experience.
