It’s really unfortunate that Jenny Bird has some pretty gorgeous pieces , however the gold plating it’s dipped in is not quality platting at all . I don’t mind paying for a piece of jewelry that’s not real gold however if I’m paying upwards of $80-$300 for a piece that is plated I expect the plating to last period .! I have a piece I bought off Amazon for $15 I shower daily with and no sign of fading or tarnishing . Jenny bird if they want to continue to be a successful brand name they really need to look into a better plating process for their jewelry in my opinion. Because now I will no longer purchase because of my anklet fading .

I have a collection of Jenny Bird earrings that are great for travel, as they are not too expensive & are great accessories. The pin on one of the earrings broke after a couple of wearings. This should not happen to earring that cost $100!

Do not order online from this company. Worse customer service I’ve experienced in a very long time. After ordering over $400 with of jewelry, with an invoice noting free shipping. They invoiced me afterwards for a $10 shipping charge!! They claim it’s because of post box (although there is also a street address for delivery, but they will mot ship to that address). They lost a loyal customer. Will never buy from this brand again. Customer Service did nothing to assist, impersonal and inefficient. If these weren’t for specifically requested gifts I would’ve canceled order. Will never buy again from this brand…on-line or in store.

I completely agree with the other posters that I have purchased many pieces of JB jewelry and all have tarnished to the point they are not wearable. I did not get them wet or expose to perfume and these are mostly earrings which do not sit directly on my skin so I also think it is the plating process and lack of quality materials. I have much cheaper jewelry that had held up way better. I no longer purchase this brand and I tho knits a shame that this company clearly creates content that specifically states “doesn’t tarnish!” When it very much does at fairly high price points. Try improving your poor quality rather than creating marketing to dispute it.

I have been a fan of Jenny Bird for years, but have just about given up on the brand as their plating process is inferior. My Stevie necklace is unwearable as it looks like junk jewelry, and a favourite bracelet has almost no gold left on it. I have cheap jewelry that has held up better. It’s a shame because I love their aesthetic. They really need to fix this!

I have been a big fan of JB jewellery over the years and have lots of her pieces. However I have noticed that the products are now tarnishing much more quickly and can only assume this is due to changes in the plating process. As a result some recent purchases end up looking like I bought them at an Aldo accessories store for 20$ rather than from JB for 150$. I brought several of her necklaces on a recent trip to Europe but had to stop wearing them when I realized how tatty and cheap they looked. It’s a pity because I love her aesthetic but I refuse to spend that kind of $$ on pieces of such low quality

After three months of wear (did not get them wet) the coating started to come off, they started to tarnish and the clasp of one of the earrings stopped working.

I’m reading all these negative reviews and am SHOCKED. To anyone who is reading this, I’ve been shopping with JB for almost 7 years now, and I have NEVER been displeased with anything I’ve bought. I’m obsessed with their jewelry. A lot of the pieces I have are soooo cutting edge, and I always get tons of compliments when I’m wearing their stuff. I probably own 30 different pieces. Yes, it’s been quite an investment, but I have no regrets. Don’t listen to these haters. JB stuff is amazing!!

I bought 3 pieces of JB jewelry and all 3 tarnished quickly after only 4 wears.
I did not expose them to water, perfume, etc, followed all the care guidelines. Tried to contact the office directly but apparently it's closed until further notice. Hmm. Used the 'live chat' and sent pics but was only offered store credit, not a refund. When I asked for a refund the 'chat person, Thalia' disappeared and didn't respond.
The jewelry is junk. I wasted almost $400 on 'luxury' and received Walmart grade pieces. Avoid this 'celebrity' scam.

Literally the worst. Their jewelry is total junk - plated brass?? You shouldn't be paying more than $5 for that crap, it's the same quality you'd get at Target. Customer service is utterly unhelpful, too, when the product you buy doesn't resemble the piece you paid for at all. Save your time and money and buy from somewhere with actual fair pricing for the quality.
