Complete and utter waste of time, despite entering clear information in terms of type of role, location (UK,) salary etc. I kept being given recommendations in any country but the UK, and after a few days these recommendations aren't even for the type of role I'm looking for.

This is a scam. You pay each month to have a job search. None of the jobs matc the criteria you type, basicly all of the job adds or either expired jobs or fake jobs from scetchy companies that just want your data. I do not recommend using jobassist.

they are scammers they charge me subscription amount and i provide my details for job searching and they just show a blank page i check on my laptop as well but same result i thought my PC not working on AI but it still show blank page i request them to send me refund and they refused to me and no help me to find job this is scam that is why they have a very bad rating

I set up my profile carefully: Junior Python Developer, Entry-level, Ireland only, EUR 38-41k salary target, Python/Django tech stack.

Within minutes, JobAssist's top "matches" (scored 43-63/100) included a Senior Full Stack Engineer role requiring years of React/TypeScript/C#.NET experience, a Trainee role in India with an undisclosed salary and a 1.8/5 employer rating, and an AI Trainee role in Finland requiring a master's degree and fluent Finnish. None of these respected the seniority, tech stack, or location I explicitly set.

The algorithm seems to match on generic keywords like "Trainee" or "Junior" in the title without checking the rest of the job requirements against the actual profile. If you're an entry-level candidate, expect a lot of noise in your matches.

To be fair, I cancelled within the hour and requested a refund, and support (Adam) approved it quickly and without pushback, so customer service was genuinely good. But the core product, accurate AI matching, doesn't work as advertised yet.

**Promised 2,285 job matches, saw around 50 after paying**

I subscribed to JobAssist after receiving a promotional email specifically stating that I had “2,285 matched roles” ready to unlock.

After paying approximately AUD $28 and completing my profile, I could only see around 50 available jobs.

I contacted support promptly, explained the discrepancy, told them I had not applied for any jobs through the service and asked to close my account and receive a refund. My refund request was repeatedly refused.

I am currently unemployed and purchased the service specifically to help with my job search. Had I known the actual number of available roles would be so different from the number promoted to me, I would not have subscribed.

This has been a very disappointing experience.

Have no clue what they are doing. Every salary range was wrong for Asia. They outright lied how much job matches they have for me ones I confirmed that non of the salaries match.
Do not pay

Waste of money - sends low-quality, generic applications clearly not tailored to the roles. Hurts my confidence in the application process rather than helping me find opportunities.
