Happy with the sale process

They represented the vendors for a flat I purchased. I was happy with the process overall, Sue was very on it, chasing all sides and working outside her working hours to ensure all went well. I will consider using them once I'm selling.

Highly reccomended

I bought my flat in SE13 through the John Payne Lee office. Max followed the sale from start to end and he did a great job! He was very efficient, helpful, communicative and responsive to my many requests. He was friendly and made me feel at ease throughout. Would highly recommend and would consider them for future purchases and sales!

Fantastic friendly estate agents

All the staff at John Payne Lee Green were excellent and professional. They showed that they cared about your experience and were extremely helpful in all aspects of the house sale. I would recommend them highly.

Exceedingly good engagement from John…

Exceedingly good engagement from John Payne especially Chris from Lee Branch throughout the sale process . We had them throughout the journey and they were immensely helpful and supportive. I would recommend to go with John Payne.

I definitely recommend John Payne East Greenwich Estate Agents! Susan did her best in supporting me all along the flat purchase process and in assisting me with anything. Purchase of property in Greenwich

Great experience as a buyer dealing with John Payne. Susan and the team did a great job throughout the long process of keeping us updated, prompt conversations with the vendor and generally always being on the ball with everything. Could not have hoped for better service. Would highly recommend John Payne Greenwich.

A moving experienxe

We were very impressed with Susan Denny from John Payne East Greenwich.
First, the hassle-free nature of the process should not be understated. Sue succeded in getting an offer on our house within a week of marketing it, and while we were away over Easter. But she and the whole team were happy to discuss with us what pictures to use in the brochure and online, the marketing strategy and asking price and arranged to blur images in family photos that we had forgot to remove when the marketing shots were taken so we found the experience reassuring from the outset. Second, and more importanty, some people these days opt to market their own properties or go for lower commission and limited assistance. I am pleased we didn't as Sue really earned her money. The difficulty for us wasn't finding a buyer but finding somewhere to buy. We were outbid on some properties and after the 'mini-budget'- when interest rates soared - our purchasers had a limited amount of time to complete and exchange or lose the favourable, previously agreed, mortgage offer that would be enable them to buy our home. We decided to sell and rent and Sue worked wonders to ensure the sale went through swiftly - in around six weeks. This involved recommending a very proactive and creative solicitor (who, as it turned out, we had previously instructed when buying our home) to fielding a wealth of questions from us and the buyers to staying on top of our purchasers' solicitors to recommending a business specialising for rubbish removal to a company that could deal with a previously unknown area of dampness to contacting colleagues in other John Payne branches about rental property options for us. We made the sale with just days to spare and without Sue (and Trisha from Grant Saw solicitors) I don't think we could have done it. Third, I also want to mention the attitude and ethos of the East Greenwich branch - always offering advice in a polite manner and we never felt pushed to accept a sale at all costs or to opt for renting rather than staying put - in other words, Sue was helpful not hecotoring, which made us feel comfortable we had made the right choice.

Genuinely great to work with!!

After consulting with a number of agents I decided to list my property for sale with John Payne. My point of contact Susan was absolutely fantastic, always providing updates, responding promptly to any emails and guidance to as to where we were during the selling process.

I had a very positive experience and would definitely use them again. I would be happy to recommend them looking to sell their property and in particular Susan for her stellar work in getting this sale over the line.

My experience with John Payne was very good

My experience with John Payne was very good. I was mostly working with Max who was very communicative throughout the whole process, which is the most important part for me. He was also very helpful in pushing the whole thing along.

John Payne were fantastic

John Payne were fantastic, we recently bought our property through them. Arranging to view the property was very quick and efficient, and when our solicitor wasn’t doing her job Poppy continued to chase until they did. Poppy was very polite and helpful throughout the whole process and provided excellent communication. Thank you!

My flat was ‘Sold STC’ immediately

Following my good experience with John Payne in SE12, I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property, no matter how small. Their professionalism shone through during the process of selling my flat, and someone in their office was always available to talk to me when I needed reassurance that all was well and the sale was proceeding. I also received regular weekly updates from my agent Max.

John Payne actually found a suitable buyer in the same week the photos were taken and the advertisement was due to be officially launched. The buyer was known to them so I didn’t have the bother of endless people traipsing through the flat. I really lucked out. Special thanks to Max, who handled the sale from start to finish. I will recommend John Payne to my friends.

John Payne were great

John Payne were great, we recently bought our property through them. Arranging viewings was really quick and easy, and Poppy kept us up to date on everything and she was very efficient. Poppy was also helpful in chasing everything up to ensure the sale completed.

Would use John Payne - Lee over and over again…

All of the members of the team were friendly, efficient and professional throughout our sale. I used them again as I had brought two properties with John Payne over the last 12 years and they were equally as good then. I would highly recommend them.

Poppy Clemants, John Payne recommendation

My property sale has been managed by Poppy Clements from start to finish. She called me regularly with a calm and reassuring manner, never put pressure on and has quite honestly made the whole process a dream. I couldn't recommend her more, and she will be my first call when the time comes again in the future.

I would not recommend John Payne for Lettings

I would not recommend John Payne for lettings at all. Initially they are very proactive and are helpful to find tenants for letting a property. However, once I had the tenants in it was so painful! I had to keep chasing John Payne to collect the rent, I had to correct the accounts, and remind them of payments they owed me. I also felt in the end they had agreed a tenancy that they knew the tenants would break and then kept the full letting fee. Please do not use them. They seem a little cheaper on the onset but I have made a loss on my property letting as a result of their terms and also spent my own time doing the job that I paid them to do

Hi Sadia. I am sorry to read your review and have had a chat with the Property Managers responsible for this tenancy. Although we are very sorry that the standard of service was not at the high quality we would have expected, the early break meant that we were not able to make amends for the issues with the tenants bank details. The tenants asked for a break clause and although you didn't have to agree to this, you did and so they were able to exercise.

Wonderful Support

From sale to completion the support we received was amazing. Moving home can be a very stressful experience but with Poppy Clements help and knowledge this wasn’t the case. Would recommend John Payne and especially Poppy to anyone.
