Disappointing.....again
Been a while since we visited here as it's a fair drive from Wicklow and we had to use a gift voucher..
Plenty of parking even with "normal" cars parked in the disabled spaces..
Huge variety of plants and furniture, don't understand the need for household items and clothing though..maybe just call it the Johnstown Center..
We tried the cafe again , last time disappointed..no change this time..
It was quite busy again but only because of the disorganization..tea and cake area should be separate from the hot food area...
I was waiting for my meal to be plated up ,the girl said it would be a couple of minutes for the fresh chips to come..no problem..
When they came she put some on a plate of lasagne that had been sitting on the shelf for several minutes now...the gentleman pointed this out to her but she insisted it would still be hot...I wouldn't have accepted this....
When I got my meal I found the mash potatoes we almost cold and the chicken also...
My husbands was the same....
50+ euro for substandard food..
The rhubarb pie was tasteless and too cold to finish....even though it was heated.. allegedly...
So that was our last visit, nothing that Avoca and Woodie's in wicklow don't have except the disappointment...
