I would advise others to carefully consider before engaging with this company. My experience was disappointing. Despite driving for 15 years with a clean record—no accidents or claims during that time—I was refused after driving for two weeks. The outcome was negative, and my time felt wasted.
If you're considering this company, I suggest exercising caution and protecting your personal data. Based on my experience, it may not be worth the effort.

So I decided to do the test drive with Rooster to hopefully find a good quote but my active policy was almost up, so I decided to contact someone from Rooster to see if I could get my quote early. The response I got from them was
“Sadly it looks like we would be unable to offer coverage on this occasion, sadly the underwriters have rejected based on the vehicle”.
Bear in mind the vehicle was a BMW 3 Series that has a 2-litre engine.
So the moral of the story is if you drive anything above 2 litres at 20 please don’t waste your time doing roosters test drive, Look elsewhere.

Very good insurance company gave me good quote couldn’t fault them and the customer service is very good as well. I did my insurance for the wrong date and within half an hour they’ve got it sorted couldn’t them would recommend.

Decided to ask before the 3 week test drive whether you would insure my car afterwards. You said you wouldn't. You should say at the beginning that you don't insure performance cars despite the quality of driving. It clearly has nothing to do with the standard of driving as I've been through many advanced driving courses, Misleading.

You sign up, enter all your details, spend 2 weeks doing their test, get a good score, only to be told their underwriters won’t insure you! Absolute waste of time and god knows what they do with your data — probably sell it on.

Went through all the rest drive and little hoops.
Moral of the story - if it sounds too good to be true, it definitely is.
They ask you for details before your test drive, lead you into a false hope, provide you with a quote, and then take it back and say you can't have that quote due to details you disclosed earlier.
I completed my test drive, informed them that I had an SP50 from over a year ago.
(Doing 56 in a temporary 50 on a motorway. Not even real speeding but hey-ho"
Got through to the quote, looked pretty good, but not great, so asked if they could do better on the price, and they did!
Until I wanted to know what changes would be made to the cost after providing proof of two years no claims.
They then sent me a message stating "we can't insure you because of your conviction"
Which they knew about, BEFORE giving me a quote.
Stop giving people quotes and then snatching the back because your system is flawed, and fail to do anything about it.
Stop leading people on and providing them with a false sense of security.

Only insured me for year and didn’t offer a quote for next, these small companies will always leave you in difficult situations. I have learnt my lesson to go with admiral now.
