Wonderful Product and Experience

The end product is amazing and I base my review on the whole process. This is my 2nd guard. The old one is now my backup/travel guard. It also is great and is saving my teeth. I'm a bad grinder. I bite thru a football mouthpiece in one night, I'd it stays in. Not these.
My initial impression was not perfect and turned out an imperfect guard. They sent a new impression kit and the new one is perfect. I received a great magnetic case for the length of time it took and a sonic cleaner previously, none of which did I request or expect.
I will definitely ne purchasing another in the future when this one wears out. Both are very comfortable, and I have the thickest most durable...

Perfect Fit, Great Customer Service

I am extremely happy about the incredible, immediate, and personal responses to all of my inquiries! The fit of my guard was perfect, and a fraction of the cost from my dentist... who quoted me $500. but then added an unexpected $300. for the mold...and it never fit properly...then, instead of fixing the device, they started to grind down my teeth. I was so disenchanted, but then I tried this service...no worries because they checked my impression prior to creating the mouth guard, and it is wonderful! I am so satisfied that my husband is ordering guards as well! I can't be more happy!

JS has stopped responding to texts, emails

JS has stopped responding to texts, emails, requesting support. I have sent follow-up texts, emails begging them to get back to me. They do not take phone calls. It’s like they fell off the face of the earth.

On Feb 20, 2024 I requested a phone call per instructions on their website. The reply from their “Customer Service Specialist” was that “I will forward your request”. No further reply. Ticket # 267297.

On Feb 13, 2024 I requested to re-order a spare guard for my wife, was directed to a website to access my account, had no password, requested help. They sent me a link to my account but it was a dead-end. None of the previous orders listed were my wife’s guard.

On Feb 16, 2024 I was sent a link to my “repurchase account”. I questioned whether the guard listed was the correct one since they somehow have combined both my wife’s account and mine together. (Another mess). Asked for clarification. No reply.

Also, we were previously notified of a 30% discount on spare guards, but the discount on the “repurchase account” was only 15%. Makes me wonder.

Another issue is that on Jan 17, 2024 I was told by email that a $40 upgrade charge from an earlier purchase would be refunded. It never posted so on Feb 16, 2024 I notified them of this. The refund posted on Feb 19, 2024. Makes me wonder.

Someone please get back to me! A simple phone call could clarify everything.
My wife’s ticket # 221419. Regular upper Hard Shield for the Grinder. This is the one we want to re-order for a spare.

Finally, I am unhappy with the fit of my very first bite guard and want to upgrade it. Since I am unable to get any response for the above, I fear that they may have gone out of business.

Bad company

I was sent an impression kit with devices too small for my mouth. I immediately notified the company and have written several emails since. They have never responded. Basically, I am left with a $140 box of junk. Beware of this company.

Excellent Night Guard and Company Resolution of Initial Poor Communication

UPDATE 2/20/24 -
After my initial negative review about unanswered calls/texts/emails to the company during the impression process, I was contacted by representatives, including Dylan, one of the owners. They were apologetic about the way their phone and email contact systems were prioritizing calls and their slow response time. Dylan said they are working on hiring more staff and addressing the communication problems. As a courtesy, he sent me complementary night guard sprays. He has followed up to see how my night guard is working out. The company has provided very good customer service once I got through to them.

I love the lower hybrid night guard I ordered, it's well made of quality materials and is durable, comfortable and fits well from the impression I sent. The price was excellent.

Overall, aside from the communication problems during order processing, it's been a better experience than at my dentist - much more cost effective and a better product. I'm glad I purchased from JS Dental and would now recommend them and will use them again for my future night guards.

They do not respond to texts, emails, voicemail requesting support. Their phone system says they don't have staff to answer phones but they respond to texts and emails quickly, normally within two hours. In actuality, within that timeframe, they send an automated reply that says they'll be in touch within 24 hours, then nothing.

I'm trying to get feedback on a first impression that I'm uncertain about for a night guard, as they suggest. It's been over 3 days since I took the impression and sent them photos as instructed. I have sent follow-up texts, emails and left a vm today, still no reply.

They shipped the impression kit pretty quickly, but it's like no one is home for assistance or support. I wish I were having the same experience the other reviewer on Trustpilot had last year. It's like the lights are off there.

I was so hopeful after positive customer reviews and choosing them over other companies because they seemed more legit and responsive, with a quality product and decent pricing.

Overall a very good company

Overall a very good company. I ordered the hybrid. The kit came super fast. They are very quick to respond to questions. We went back and forth with texts getting my imprint correct. Super helpful people. The mouth piece also came back quickly and is very good. Comparable to my $500 periodontist version and the experience was less unpleasant making the imprint. I would definitely recommend JSDental Lab.
