I took a policy with jurny thinking…

I took a policy with jurny thinking great its pay as you go I do low miles so this is perfect. I paid upfront £125 and was told afyer 6 month I get £100 back. They cancelled my policy just before the 6 month and also cannot set it back up for some reason even as a new customer and I lost my £100. Avoid this company at all costs they knew exactly what they were doing. Advertising these cool incentives and don't follow through.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way. We have made a request for further information so we can look into your file, if you could get back to us - we would love to clear things up.

When you take out a policy, we'll charge you a £100 set-up fee. This is to set up your policy and arrange your JURNYmeter. After 6 months you'll have this transferred back to your pre-paid account as long as your policy remains in place. if your policy is cancelled prior to the 6 month anniversary, the set up fee is not refundable.

In the meantime, I would like to reassure you our customers are important to us and we do our upmost best to ensure the correct information is provided at all times.

being insured with Jurny was easy to arrange and the company excellent. In the latter stages, i liaised with Michael, who sorted out any problems that arose, and dealt with these very efficiently. I would definitely recommend Jurny car insurance

A fairer car insurance plan

I have been recommending Jurny to everyone who feels they are over paying on their insurance and don’t use their car that much. It seems a much fairer way to pay for car insurance. The app is really easy to use and the communications are excellent, you are given plenty of time to top up if you have been doing a few longer journeys. I am never going back to the old insurance ways!

I had to ring Jurny again as I was…

I had to ring Jurny again as I was unable to change my payment details via their Website.

I had tried earlier in the week but was told by a male operative that Jurny encouraged their customers to use either the App or Website.

In stark contrast Becky who I spoke with earlier today could not have been more helpful

I wouldn’t bother getting insurance from this lot if you live more than a mile away from your job otherwise you got an expensive year ahead of you.

It’s pretty harsh charging £1 for just over two miles. I’ve been driving 13 years and this is the most expensive insurance I’ve paid for. Your estimated mileage is way out and is very deceiving. Hopefully I will be changing insurance companies very soon.

We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the pence per mile price; we would like to assure you that this has nothing to do with our relationship with you as a customer but rather reflects market conditions at any given time.

Our product is a bit different in how you pay for your car insurance, intending to make it more flexible and affordable. If you drive less, you then pay less.

When running a quote with us, you would have been asked how many annual miles you do - allowing us to provide you with an annual estimate for your insurance. You selected 1,000 miles. If you don't exceed the miles you have stated - the insurance will cost you what we advised at the beginning of your policy.
