8 months later and I have still not recieved the correct plans.
On the 7th of May 2017, I ordered the plans for Tread Lightly. Not long after I received an envelope with some plans and a manual. It was the correct manual, but it was the wrong plans of Truant - Not the boat I was interested in building.
Since I have send several emails to John Welford. Often it takes several weeks before he answers any emails. Only once has it sounded like he had send the correct plans. But I never got the correct plans. The last couple of emails have been totally ignored, when I write to complain about not receiving what I have paid for.
Now it is January 2018 and I have still not received the correct plans. I have done nothing wrong and it is not my fault, that John Welsford has put the wrong drawings in my order. For some unapparent reason, he does not seem to want to correct his mistake.
This is not a descent way to treat your customers. I have paid NZ$ 225 for nothing!
Do not order anything from JW Boatdesigns. If something goes wrong, in the order handling process, you will not get what you have paid for. I was so much looking forward to build the Tread Lightly dinghy, since I love dinghy camping. But this is obviously not going to happen. So I have ordered the Scamp dinghy plans, from Small Craft Advisor, instead and received them on time. Almost identical to the Tread Lightly.
