Great guides they couldn't do enough for us

We had a lovely time in beautiful Bhutan with our incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable guide Ugyen, who was a wealth of historical and Buddhist knowledge and an amazing storyteller, and Yentin, our driver who was wonderful and always there with kindness for us! It was unforgettable!

Cannot recommend Kandoo high enough. The sales staff before we went were very informative an polite.

But it was the local team in Tanzania that were especially great. They looked after us so well and couldnt do enough for us. It clearly wasnt just a job to them. They worked very hard to build a relationship with us.

Anyone who stuggled in the group was support in a way that was needed for them. We really felt looked after.

My only criticism would be the hidden costs. This was not Kandoo costs but other. I felt we maybe should have been warned about how much some of the addition bits would cost. For example

We were very happy with our guides and our porters. They took great care of us and made the trek fun and safe. We summited Kilimanjaro in 6 hours and when we returned to base camp, our 12 porters sang and danced to celebrate our success!

We are a group of 4, and we already started to recommend people NOT to use your services. We tell people that this travel agency is not trustworthy, they only care about getting pay.

You might keep our deposit we dont care about money, it’s about respect and manners something you don’t have. And we will make sure to tell people about it.

Excellent experienced team of guides, porters and chefs who make the experience that much more comfortable and enjoyable for you to help you reach your destination, mine being the Kilimanjaro summit! Would definitely recommend using them.

We had a fantastic experience with Kandoo Adventures. The guides were really knowledgeable and they encouraged you each step of the way. The crew was well organized and did a great job of having everything ready for us. Meals were great and it was amazing to think of how they could prepare 3 course meals in such a primitive environment. On summit night, the guides provided extra help to increase your chance of success. I couldn’t have done it without Eric taking my backpack and providing a helping hand. The safari following Kilimanjaro was the perfect ending to our trip. Our guide went out of his way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. He gave us lots of information about each national park and the animals we saw. It was great fun. I would highly recommend Kandoo.

Both the Kili hike and the subsequent safari were organized very professionally and the crews/staff at both adventures were great and would recommend them to anybody.

I want to talk about what kandoo did great on top of choosing one of the most amazing locations I’ve ever been to.
The path chosen for the trek was very difficult and made the 3 summits done in the 6 days of walking that much more beautiful.
However, this trek couldn’t have been done without our guide Samir. From the local agency in Marrakesh zbair voyage. He guided us from airport to airport and made this a once in a lifetime experience.

Does a great job of coordinating logistics for smooth travel

I am so happy with my choice to use Kandoo Adventures for our Kilimanjaro climb and four day safari. They were superb in every way. The experienced Kilimanjaro guides and crew were invested in our success from start to finish. The three hot, delicious meals on the mountain every day were luxurious. They were very organized and caring and there for us every step of the way. I expected to succeed but I didn't expect to feel so welcomed and catered to. The safari guide was also very knowledgeable and friendly and managed to show us just about every animal we imagined seeing. I'll never forget the experience.

We have just returned from a Poon Hill trek in Nepal. Kandoo were fantastic in all respects and we had a super time. Highly recommended.

Just came back from an incredible trip to Jordan. I can't fault my experience with Kandoo. From initial enquiry through to arrival and departure, the team were professional, thoughtful and thorough throughout. Yasser was a fantastic guide and was with us for the whole trip. His knowledge and enthusiasm were contagious and we learned so much. In Wadi Rum, Hakim and Abdul-Ramen, our bedouin guides, were exceptional. They cooked for us, sang for us, taught us about the desert, our camels and their customs, and camping with them for 3 days was super fun. Our drivers were kind and courteous and nothing too much trouble. I can't rate Jordan as a destination or Kandoo as a company enough. Already planning my next adventure with them! Highly recommend.

Just got back from a FABULOUS & LIFE CHANGING experience with Kandoo to Everest Base Camp! originally as a group of 4 however poor weather and timescales meant a split in the group to accommodate different needs. I was so grateful to stick with my EBC dream and went up to Lukla 'solo' by jeep - quite the experience but, this was returned in droves by what was to come. We summited and learnt of the red bull skiier being there, which added to the alute that is Everest. And then we took a seamless return flight back from Lukla, in perfect conditions, which capped off this trip. I was lost for words.... My thanks to the team; Pimba, Mikma (Smokey Sherpa), Sam, Shelley and Kumar for all their help in adding a massive tick in my life box. I'll keep looking for my next adventure....

The Kandoo guides were superb and the itinerary was seamless. I felt safe at all times and had a great time overall. August was great at managing a large group of varying skill levels. Gabriel was very personable, and we loved Richard. He was so friendly and always helped us wind down after a day of hiking with his humor.

I cannot recommend Kandoo enough, I just got back from completing the Annapurna Circuit and had such an amazing time! My guide Phurpu was incredible, he helped me learn so much about the Nepalese culture, about the places we were seeing and kept me feeling so safe and happy the whole time. My porter Rinjen was amazing too, we were a great team and that made the experience even better! This is my third trip with Kandoo as their knowledge and care is shown from day 1 of booking. The Annapurna circuit was too incredible to put into words, although we didn’t get the panoramic views of the mountains due to the time of year, it was still beautiful and made our glimpses of the mountains much more special. I will talk about this trip for years because it was so so special, I have completely fallen in love with Nepal so thank you Kandoo! Also thank you so much to the head office team, Shelley was so helpful answering my questions, helping me get prepared and even more excited for my trip!

The trip was well organized and the people quite helpful

The team was well prepared and subscribed to a successful system of getting climbers to the top. I very much appreciated the positive anttitude and sense of humor of the guides, particularly August, Ahmad’s, and Eric. The camps were clean and efficient and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Kandoo and this team to anyone wishing to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Had the best time climbing Mt Kilimanjaro with Kandoo adventures! My guides were Raymond and Amadeus and they were incredible. They are the ultimate Kili experts, answered all my questions, got us to the summit all while having fun :) The porters and crew were also the best. We had so much fun getting to know them and they made us feel so comfortable and at home during our trek. Richard made us laugh every morning and night with his stories and jokes. 10/10 would recommend Kandoo for climbing Kili!

I could not recommend this company enough! I booked to climb Kilimanjaro and a 4 day safari afterwards. From start to finish everything was so well organised and everyone involved was amazing. Shelley from the office put up with my calling most days to check things and was always there to help and send me all the information I asked for almost instantly.

As for the guides and the porters on the climb, absolutely extraordinary, I take my hat off the everyone of them. Our guides mtaba, Ronald and Vennance were 3 of the most respectful and professional guides I’ve ever met. We had such a laugh along the way and without them I wouldn’t have made the summit. I will use Kandoo for any adventure I next take on
