Pros: Great suits. Great price. Fits as expected.

Cons: Took several days to ship after order was processed. Color was advertised as charcoal gray but actual color was average gray.

Bought shoes from here in February of 16. Wear each pair every day. Have lasted the test of time and wear. Bought three more pair because the have held up so well. Only been tonthe store 1 time in my life and completely trust the business.

Karako Suits (KS) does fill a key market need for men who need decent suits on a limited budget. Although they do offer a KS Custom Suit Division, Karako Suits is best as a budget-priced clothing option in the NY/NJ/LI Metro Area. If you were a SYMS shopper, you should recognize the Karako store...minimal frills, lots of selection and a Tailor is typically on-site for alterations.

The KS Sales Staff works on commission, but they are not hard-sellers, at least the ones that I encountered. You may want to use your local tailor for alterations, as I do, since I am harder to fit.

You'll find racks of off-shore produced suits, grouped by chest size, price points and materials (Poly, Wool Blends, 100% Wool). There are promotional specials that include "free" Suits and Accessories...take advantage. You'll see some "flashy" fabric colors & patterns, but the styling is generally contemporary...mostly side-vent, peak lapel suits with flat-front pants.

Focus on the proper tailoring, and you can find a $300 KS suit, with alterations, that could pass as an $800 suit.

Great service the quality of the shirts were of low quality.

Suit was hemmed poorly and the amount they charged for alterations was not worth doing in house. Fabric was of low quality despite the fact that I paid more money for a higher quality suit. I just had to buy yet another suit for a wedding I’m attending next week. This time I’m going through another company for similar prices but higher quality.

I would have rated 5 stars if Karako Suits had 800 number directly to customer services. The problem was the shipping order listed a wrong address that I did not notice until a day or two after confirmation. They never responded in 24 hrs. as stated in e-mail policy of contact. I did got my suit and was very pleased. But being under a time limit for inseam tailoring you can see why I was worried

Great experience all around. I purchased a suit from the store. When I first went into the store, the salesperson was very helpful and took the time to explain everything. My size was not available at the store so I called their 800 number to check for my size. The person there, Adam, was extremely polite and helpful. He even gave me a discount AFTER I had agreed to buy the suit at full price. Shipping was prompt. Try it out. I think you will be very happy.

Emailed Karako twice, imploring them, begging for assistance to buy a special Blazer I'd hunted for ages. Got NO relply. I admitted I'm a disabled person, I don't get around easily. STILL no reply, 2 years later...
