Original Travels did such an incredible job with planning our Morocco trip! They were so accommodating with our requests and really planned our itinerary around what we wanted. Our driver, Soufiane, was incredible! All of our guides were also great, would highly recommend!

Everything was organized and planned for our family- the activities were perfect for everyone. KIMKIM was responsive the whole trip!

As someone who usually researches and plans their own trips and sets up all the things (hotels, day trip passes, transportation, sightseeing itinerary), this was a different approach for me but one for which I am very thankful. Brazil is an incredible country, but as a tourist, there are safety issues to be aware of in some places and the language barrier is real (Google translate helps, sure, but there is nothing like an actual local guide who doubles as a translator).

I went "hybrid" with this Kim Kim experience: I researched what we wanted to see, then handed it off to Federico to bring it to fruition. He did all the itinerary plans and reservations, including setting up the day trips we wanted - some of a quality we could not have set up on our own (historic coffee farm tour, for one - which you can do through day trip companies but are better with genuine local connections). We still got to weigh in on what we wanted to do, but not getting in the weeds with reservations and the itinerary was heaven for a busy professional (or others short on time) and was very reasonable for the level of care and service provided.

We had a local guide with us every day (Alberto was amazing in Rio and Joao Luiz in Foz was great!), along with reliable drivers and a couple of other guides who were all wonderful. Kim Kim works with a local tour agency there, and they were always a text away if we had questions. The only snafu we had was a driver who was late picking us up for dinner and a show, but the local tour company owner showed up in person to apologize and bring us some bubbly to make good :) Noting, it was great to not be with a large tour group the whole trip; the only time we were with others was on a boat excursion, which made it fun in that case.

Going back to Alberto, what a fascinating, knowledgeable man! We loved his level of historical and local knowledge - made the trip so educational - and he has the patience of Job when you are out with him. Appreciated his being attentive to our needs and safety but allowing us to meander around shopping and seeing the sites at our own speed. Top notch! Likewise, Joao Luiz is so kind and attentive - he's a speed warrior, so we had to slow him down at times, but thanks to him we saw more of Iguazu Falls than we would have ever seen otherwise, and we loved that he pointed out all the birds, animals, and best views! He made going from Brazil to Argentina and back so easy - even walked us up to the counter at the airport on the way back to Rio - and was very accomodating in moving activities around to maximize the weather (as were Alberto and Benni in Rio!).

That is another win for KimKim, by the way. Rio's weather is fickle, but because the guides have vouchers rather than hard tickets like we would have purchased for specific times/dates, we were able to flex days around the best times to see Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, the Bird Park in Foz, etc. and go to the Botanical Gardens and other activities the days when it was overcast, foggy or drizzly. HUGE perk and one that allowed us to see everything we wanted!

Federico was good to work with me on hotels. He provided suggestions, some of which we took, but also booked the other hotels we requested. Same with working around a couple of other activities we booked directly (like a cooking class and beach day). Again, Kim Kim is good to accomodate and work with you, and I found it very reasonable for the service and level of attention you receive. Our many thanks to Federico and Kim Kim, their local partner tour company in Brazil, and our wonderful drivers (we loved Ricardo!) and outstanding tour guides (Alberto, Joao Luiz, Benni!) for making the trip such a terrific experience! I will definitely use KimKim again!

It was complicated with a lot of steps and processes, and everything was organized very clearly. There was also the ability to reach out and get information and almost real time and the responses were timely and effective.

Amazing New Zealand experience! Our planner, Noemie, was wonderful throughout in customization, adjusting/updating itineraries to our preferences and needs especially since we traveled with our 2 year old. Great accommodations, transportation, and experiences as well as suggestions for when on our own. Highly recommend and we will use them again for our next trip to NZ.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our travel agent, Adeline, for coordinating what was truly the vacation of a lifetime. We have traveled to many places around the world, but this was by far the best vacation we have ever taken. From start to finish, we took full advantage of every single moment of this trip.

The itinerary was perfectly designed, starting in Fukuoka and ending in Tokyo, with every destination, hotel, and experience thoughtfully planned. Everything was meticulously mapped out—from what to see, to how to get there, and even where and what to eat. The balance between culture, food, sightseeing, and free time was absolutely spot-on. We experienced Japan in a way we never could have planned on our own.

While we could have selected the places we wanted to visit, thanks to Adeline, the logistics were flawless. We never wasted time figuring things out, moving inefficiently, or missing opportunities. Her planning ensured we were always in the right place at the right time, giving us more time to see, do, and truly enjoy Japan.

We provided a list of key things we wanted to see and took advice from Adeline (who has lived in Japan) to ensure the entire trip was perfectly customized to our interests and travel style.

We also had full support throughout the trip. For example, when unforeseen circumstances required us to change the following day’s plans, Adeline adjusted the entire itinerary within hours and sent us a complete, updated plan without any disruption to our experience.

Every detail was handled with care—transportation, accommodations, timing, and recommendations were completely seamless. We felt supported the entire time while still having the freedom to enjoy the adventure stress-free.

This was hands-down the best vacation of our lives, and it’s 100% thanks to the expertise, planning, and passion Adeline put into making this dream trip a reality. If you’re considering traveling to Japan, or anywhere… do yourself a favor and book with her. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I visited Patagonia in late November, early December for about a week. Erin, our trip specialist, did a wonderful job in helping us organize this trip. She provided great recommendations, was very communicative and responsive, and had really good advice and insights which gave us a lot of comfort and peace of mind. She organized a wonderful itinerary, interspersed with all the kinds of activities we were most interested in doing. Overall, I highly recommend Erin and Kimkim!

I was so impressed with the attention to detail and how the company was able to put together a truly special trip from start to finish. The trip exceeded all expectations. I especially liked the lodging options. All were unique and special. The tours were very good as well. Love it all!

Hien was great to work with planning our trip. We knew we were traveling during the wet season; however, it was invaluable to have Hien to rearrange our schedule mid-trip due to historic flooding in Huey. Guides and transportation were all great - and despite missing out on Huey and Hoi An, we had a fantastic trip. Would definitely recommend for first time visitors to Vietnam!

The trip was composed of many different elements whice we enjoyed. We spent time in the Amazon, Lake Titicaca and numerous cities. With the exception of one, all of our transfers were on time and those that were on time were very courteous and professional. Liz and Lisbeth were extremely attentive and very quick to respond to my questions.

I had an excellent previous experience with Kim Kim travel on a trip to Japan in 2023, deserving of 5 stars. Therefore had no hesitation in choosing them again for this trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. However I was disappointed with the service provided by the travel agency/representative in Vietnam. There was poor communication and very delayed responses. I felt some of my earlier questions were being abruptly brushed off. At one point I had to contact Kim Kim head office to facilitate a response which I had waited for well over a week. After this interaction, the communication did significantly improve, and we had no further stressful issues.
The accommodation booked for us was of a lower standard than expected.
However I would give 5 stars to the local guides and drivers who were pretty amazing.
Our guide Ha in Hanoi and Ninh Binh was very knowledgeable and very quickly figured out our interests and revealed exactly the Vietnam we wanted to experience.
Our guide Mrs Vannary in Cambodia was efficient, kind, experienced, knowledgeable, and flexible, tailoring our experience to our interests.
Halong bay experience was very good, small ship experience was great, and guide was fun.
All drivers and transportation was excellent.

We use kimkim to plan a trip to the Azores, Portugal. We had so much fun! The process of planning was so simple. We opted to plan via online chats and notes in their portal, but there was also the option to set up a time for a phone call/video chat. While on the trip, we had consistent communication with the team. There were only two hiccups, which was incredible considering we had so many activities planned over our 10 day trip. One wasn’t the agency’s fault, and the other was a small miscommunication on timing. Our agent handled both of them very well and we were very pleased with the outcome. We found kimkim from a recommendation of a friend, and are definitely looking forward to planning our next trip through them!

This is my fourth trip with KimKim and my experience has been great. Every trip has been seemless. Will continue to use them as long as my experience continues to be the way it has been… which is fantastic!
