Terrible ! Book it if you want to miss your flight!
We had booked a cab two days in advance for 24th May at 11:45 AM for 6 passengers. Given that we were travelling with two young children and two elderly grandparents, we specifically booked ahead to avoid any last-minute issues.
However 9 mins before the time on the day of travel, I received a call from a staff member.
Firstly, we were told that because we had selected “6 passengers,” this apparently included the driver, and therefore no suitable vehicle had been arranged. We were informed that we should have selected a 7-seater instead. This led to around 8 minutes of unnecessary back-and-forth discussion before your staff member finally accepted how unreasonable this interpretation was.
Secondly, we were then informed that the assigned driver had actually cancelled one hour earlier and that your company had been unsuccessfully trying to find another vehicle during that time. What is most frustrating is that nobody informed us immediately when the cancellation happened. Had we been notified earlier we would have had enough time to arrange alternative transport calmly. Instead, we were informed only minutes before the booking time, leaving us in an extremely stressful situation while trying to catch a flight.
