Imagine submitting the invoices and getting a courteous and prompt acknowledgement of receipt.

It's hard to imagine because that's not how health insurance companies work.

You can't get answers. Everything is confusing. You end up owing instead of receiving the benefit.

But at Knew Health, I just had the exact opposite experience. It was wonderful!

Easy to understand and purchase. So far seems like a good value.

We are new to Knewhealth and have not used it yet, but the enrollment experience has been great. We had a one on one meeting and had all of our questions answered. When you call in you actually get to speak with a person. So far so good. Our ACA premiums were going to go from $680 per month to $2,200 per month for the lowest tier health insurance. We were at a crossroads as to whether go without or come out of retirement and find a job with health insurance. We are very hopeful that Knewhealth will be our lifesaver.

It was easy to make an appointment for a zoom call to speak with a real human in an unscripted two way conversation to clarify some “how-tos”.

So far so good. KH team has been very effective with communications.

Knew Health has been such a breath of fresh air compared to having traditional health insurance. I love that when I call, I speak to a real person (whom have all been so genuinely kind and helpful). I’ve been using Knew Health for my maternity needs the last few months and they have been nothing short of wonderful. When I call, I speak to the same two maternity specialists, John and Sandra, which is really nice. It feel like I’m getting specialized care, which isn’t something you normally get with traditional insurance companies. I’ve felt like I’ve actually been dealing with people who really care throughout my whole pregnancy which has made the journey just that much easier. I can’t sing Knew Health’s praises enough! Quick answers and help. Very professional.

No one has responded to my emails and the intake person never got back to me with the answers to my questions. It has been over a month.

Update: After posting this review I was contacted by Knew Health and they were able to answer my questions. I did not receive the email with their responses.

After having a surprise bypass surgery, the KnewHealth staff was supportive and gracious through the entire process. Payment was made promptly and it was an incredible relief to know they had us covered through this challenging experience. I love the fact that when calling KnewHealth you get someone on the line who is familiar with you and your situation. My daughter ended up needing hernia surgery and this was my first experience with a medical share group. I was very nervous and worried they wouldn't cover anything. They were so helpful the whole way through: answering all my questions, letting me know what info they needed and answering in a timely manner. It may have been more work on my end vs regular insurance but it went smoothly and I would suggest Knewhealth.

Before I was drowning in debt with premiums & co-pays & surprise bills in the mail because Insurance didn't cover. Just unaffordable Insurance. Then I found Knew Health. What a relief. Affordable alternative to Healthcare. Customer support is top notch that will answer questions & concerns in a timely manner. Health coverage that actually kicks in where you need it! Also has incredible support staff.

I was blown away by how seamless my experience with Knew Health was. On November 13, I received a bill for $1,850 from the anesthesia department for my surgery on October 21. I submitted it to Knew Health the very next day, and by November 15, I already had confirmation that the bill had been paid—and even better, Knew Health negotiated it down by 20% simply because they acted so quickly.

The process was incredibly fast, easy, and completely transparent. I felt fully supported every step of the way. Five out of five stars—highly recommend!

Experience has been really great in many ways--the only con is the cost for our family on their premium tier is ridiculously expensive. However I have struggled to find something better or even worse much cheaper. I think the market is just jacked up beyond all reason. But to pay almost $1000 a month for a family of 3 makes it SEVERELY tempting to just deposit it all into an account every month and take care of ourselves lol. So why don't we? Well, let me tell you the PROs of being with KnewHealth thus far (we have used all of our wellness checkups, and two of us have used the bloodwork feature. One of us also suffered a knee injury and surgery, all while on Knew Health membership).

First thing, is they are FAST!! I used to be on Samaritans, and the process was a living pain in the butt and then you waited a month for processing, then another month or two for it to go out to members, then half a month for said members to send you the funds. Knew Health GETS IT DONE. I submit stuff, get confirmation email when it lodges into their system, then confirmation (or explanation for holdup) when it has been processed. And literally they throw the check in the mail instantly. It would be even faster no doubt if I had set up direct deposit, but it is amazing to know I can trust their turnaround.

Another thing I love about them is that they are smarter than me!! They helped advise when some offices sucked at getting us the CPT coded paperwork etc. They also advised when an expense seemed way overpriced. They have called the hospital and offices and negotiated and/or paid things on our behalf which were previously approved. And my favorite bit, I scan a whole crap load of paper trails into our account, and they read it and tabulate it and make sense of it way better than I do. I have loved that about them. They will even tell me, Hey this one bill we have not received an invoice for yet. AMAZING

Also, I like how they are extremely easy to get in contact with via phone or email. In fact, I think I have a "person" I always speak with who solves all my problems and knows my mania lol. I'm not sure if she is The Lady to talk to, or if I am in her case load haha, but the consistency is nice. And CERTAINLY knowing that if I shoot her an email, I will hear back during the immediate next set of business hours (or current set of business hours lol). She often responds with updates faster than I do!!

It was also a HUGE savings to do our bloodwork through Evexia labs. My dr is holistic and did not have huge confidence that Evexia through Knew Health would be cheaper--but boy I was glad she was wrong! All my many labs cost about $150 or so (plus Knew Health covers a great chunk of labs for their yearly wellness /preventative efforts). It ended up super cheap out of pocket. Well after meeting with my dr to discuss results, she ordered some retests after 6 months. What is wild is (not positive it was an IDENTICAL set of testing, but I assume similar since she specifically said "retest") the set she ordered rang up to over $900 on her paperwork! YIKES!! I think Knew Health can beat that lol

Prompt and Courteous responses always. Information regarding payment schedules should be a bit more clear on website.

Our experience with Knew Health over the past couple of years has been excellent. We were stressed about not having a traditional insurance plan but Knew Health has done everything they claim they do, they have great customer service, and we feel their plan is a better product than traditional insurance.
I have to mention that John and Sandra are extremely helpful!
