Extremely helpful given I cannot try on in a shop and I just had 2 bad experiences with fit prior to this purchase. I was a but nervous dealing with an American company I didn't know but the reviews were great. I received my sneakers relatively quickly (ie I thought it would take longer from US). Quality and service was excellent. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Spend the extra $100 on Common Projects. Worth it. I ordered a pair of Koio sneakers on May 19th. When I followed up, I was told delivery would happen by May 28th. That date passed — no tracking number, no shoes, no communication.

I’ve reached out multiple times since. Silence.

Koio sells itself as a premium sneaker brand at a lower price point than Common Projects. That’s the appeal. What you actually get is one customer service response to buy time, then nothing.

No fulfillment. No follow-up. No accountability.

Common Projects costs $100 more. Pay it. At least you’ll get the shoes.

Great Shoes & Great Customer Service

I have 4 pairs of KOIO leather sneakers and they are terrific. I had a quality issue with one shoe, and it was replaced quickly and with no hassles. The customer service was excellent.

but the Webshop, logistics and customer service is crap

The shoes are great, but the Webshop, logistics and customer service is crap. I ordered two pairs online. They withdrew the money on by card same day. After 8 days and a few reminders they finally got back to me and told me that they did not have one pair of the shoes. Apparently they cannot figure out how to send the other pair. Maybe they don’t have them either. They are not really answering my questions.

I pre-ordered a pair of shoes before…

I pre-ordered a pair of shoes before they were to be released. Out of the blue got a "order cancelled" notification with no context as to why. By the time customer service responded to me the shoes already sold out. So much for pre-ordering.

I ordered a pair of Capri White/gum two…

I ordered a pair of Capri White/gum two days ago. After ordering I noticed an email I had received offering an extra $25 off my first order. I emailed back asking if they would honor the discount. In my previous experience, any other company has always denied that type of request. With Koio, I received an immediate reply with a yes and refund was offered. I cannot wait to see the shoes. If they are half as nice as the service I received, I will be a lifelong customer. Thank you Koio!

Credit wasn’t honored…

Bought two pairs of shoes and exchanged for a different size (same model). After the transaction I received en email from koio asking to leave a review for a store credit which I did.

When I tried to use the credit and it didn’t work, koio customer service said my credit was no longer valid because I exchanged the shoes.

This was not a return and I left the review for the same model / item and the credit offered wasn’t honored. A lot of the positive reviews you see on their website are compensated. Please take this into consideration when ordering. Quality is 6/10.

Premium Shoes, Even Better Customer Service

I ordered a pair of KOIO sneakers in early April, and unfortunately, the package was lost in transit. What followed could have easily been a frustrating, drawn-out experience—but KOIO completely turned that around.

From the moment I reached out, their team jumped in immediately. Communication was consistent, clear, and proactive the entire time. While the shipping carrier had both me and KOIO going back and forth—filing claims, submitting photos, answering follow-ups, and waiting over 30 days while the package was supposedly “being located”—KOIO never left me in the dark.

Their client advisors (Violet, Carolyn, and Jane) were responsive, empathetic, and solution-oriented throughout the process. Even though the issue wasn’t directly their fault, they took ownership of the situation and made sure I felt supported every step of the way.

It’s rare to see a company turn a potentially negative experience into one that actually builds trust, but KOIO did exactly that. The level of care and professionalism from their team is what sets them apart.

And once the shoes finally arrived—they absolutely lived up to the hype. The quality is immediately noticeable, from the premium leather to the clean, minimalist design that KOIO is known for. They look even better in person, and the fit was spot-on right out of the box—no break-in needed. It’s easy to see why they get so much love across reviews and social media.

If you’re on the fence about ordering, know that you’re not just buying a great product—you’re backed by a team that genuinely stands behind their customers.

There was a slight error in my order…

There was a slight error in my order and the customer support team took action and resolved it immediately going above and beyond. I was very impressed and will be sure to come back to Koio for future purchases and tell everyone about their great service.

Definitely the Best

It's definitely one of the best minimalist sneakers I have ever had. The leather is incredibly soft, while the building is really comfortable.

Yet the size runs a little large, and the eyelets are made of plastics.

Bought multiple shoes

Bought multiple shoes from there, have had a few returns/exchanges as well, all without hiccup. Great company, great quality shoe.

I love Koio capri but I have to mention…

I love Koio capri but I have to mention that the quality of the sneakers is definitely declining. I own 3 pairs and the difference in the build quality from the first to the third I received last month is very telling . The soles wear quite easily ….. and the leather don’t feel the same at all. It’s either this is a marketing ploy to get customers to buy the rose anvil collabs instead of the regular triple white capris. I might not return again .

Very uncomfortable shoe. Go find a cobbler.

Was excited get my shoes.
1. Shoes are very uncomfortable, which was surprising. Narrow, had pain in my foot every time I wore.
2. Shoe sizing was very small. I actually put my shoe up to several other pairs of shoes of same size from other brands. And they are objectively smaller. Combined with other reviews I read saying that say shoes ran too big ... I would say that sizing is an issue for this brand.
3. Best yet, when I reached out about options, told that because I wore the shoe a few times that I couldn't replace. So, lesson is ... don't ever put this shoe on your foot if you would consider returning. Just look at it and kind of guess whether it might fit.

Best yet, the advice that I got when I reached out ... find a local cobbler who can professionally stretch out your shoe! Wow. And yet she continued ... "many of our customers have had success with this". I am not sure that it's great to mention that many of your customers have to seek out and pay local cobblers to stretch out their shoes so that they fit appropriately.

Since worn shoes are not eligible for return, we recommend trying new shoes indoors, preferably on a carpeted surface, to make sure they are comfortable and the correct size before wearing them outdoors. If you're unsure, our team is always around to help guide you during this try on as well! Just send us an email and description of the pain points.
