We do not operate “fail-to-sell” tactics. An EICR outcome and coding (C1/C2/C3/FI) must be based on the condition observed and the requirements of BS 7671, and where relevant guidance (including BPG4) applies, it should be followed. If a C3 was incorrectly coded as C2, that is a serious issue and we would expect it to be corrected through our quality process.

On the refund point: if a refund was agreed and then you did not receive it, that is not acceptable. Please contact our office with your job reference / property postcode / invoice number (using the contact details on your booking confirmation), and we will escalate this to a manager to review the report, the WhatsApp thread, and the refund status and come back to you with a clear resolution.

An EICR result must be based on the recorded inspection and test results and the correct application of coding in line with BS 7671. If you were told verbally (and later by phone) that the outcome was a “pass”, and then received an unsatisfactory certificate with remedial costs after payment, that is not acceptable and requires an immediate management review.

Please contact us quoting Order ID 474400 so a senior manager can:

review the electrician’s test data and observations recorded on the EICR (including the schedules),
check the coding and the basis for any remedial quotation,
confirm what was communicated to you and when,
and agree the appropriate resolution promptly.

If you prefer, we can also arrange an independent re-check / second opinion as part of the review process.

Missing the appointment then compounds the issue, and we understand why you would not want to use us again.

On payment: we sometimes request payment in advance depending on the booking type, but this should always be explained clearly and never at the expense of delivering the appointment as agreed.
