I am a long term heavy user of cotton buds due to very sticky wax that won't see its own way out, especially during pollen season. I purchased lastswab in an attempt to cut down on luggage during a three month trip.
For use in my ears, with my particular wax, lastswab works incredibly well. The very viscous sticky wax is collected easily. Under running water the swabs clean easily (in times of no running water I found it more difficult, but that is not most people's everyday concern)
The swab is almost 12 months old and still going strong. I have not returned to cotton buds.

I think those that have thin wax or who used cotton buds to have the sensation of a squeaky clean and scrubbed ear probably won't find this as effective. However if you're the sort of person who just needs to mechanically dig some ear wax out, lastswab works extremely well.

Har nu brugt min Lastswab i et par år. Den holder rigtigt fint og renser min øregange helt perfekt. Jeg gør den altid våd før brug, så kommer voksen lettere ud og det er lettere at gøre den ren bagefter.

Really disappointing. I love the concept as an eco conscious person. I did find them decent with cleaning my ears however I've cleaned them using a tiny amount of soap and water and the buds came lose. Unfortunately one came off into my ear, my family member dug it out. I thought maybe this was a one off and didn't want to give up on the reusable product as I hate waste. Then the other bud fell off into my ear, unfortunately at that time noone was around to help as it was night that this happened. I then thankfully had a family member retrieve the other bud the next morning. This then made the reusable concept pointless as I'd had to throw the buds away and the stick part. I thought maybe I'd made a mistake in how I had cleaned them but it says on the website to clean them with a small amount of soap and water 🙈. I hope to find another reusable brand that's more stable than one that will fall apart and when they got stuck luckily they didn't go deep into my ear but this still panicked me. Please if you read this Last Swab, consider making your product more durable and actually long lasting.

jeg må desværre også stemme i at deres lastswab IKKE virker til makeup og da jeg købte to, har jeg spild penge på dem. Deres feedback på min kritik var ikke tilfredsstillende, så jeg kan ikke anbefale at købe lastswab

God ide- men produkterne lever slet ikke op til en vatpind. Renser ikke øregangen, renser ikke make-up væk. Skuffende. Så i stedet for at spare på ressourcerne, har jeg tilføjet….Æv

Swabs look nice, packaging is clever, but they don’t clean your ears. Not absorbent and just feels like shoving hard plastic in your ears.

I figured at least that they would be some sort of foam, like earplug material, which is washable, but no.

As much as I wanted a renewable option to cotton buds, I feel like I’ve just created more waste getting rid of my plastic LastSwab. Really unfortunate.

Smuk ide og fantastisk koncept som jeg meget gerne vil støtte op om som forbruger. Men min vatpind gik i stykker på midten efter ca 10 ganges brug. Produktet efter min erfaring er ikke stærkt nok lavet.

God idé, men dårligt produkt der ikke virker efter hensigten.

I really like the concept and the container.
To the swab itself. It's well done, but the pimples/burls break off? And that just after a few uses. Don't think anyone wants to get more stuff into their ear. They should work on that.

Jeg var litt sånn forvirret hva som var greia med det her, men jeg ble ganske lei av å kaste masse ting, så da kjøpte jeg to og det ble så bra! Den renser så godt, mye bedre enn med bomull og det er så deilig! Kjempe lett og vaske med såpe. Helt fin boks, jeg leste mye om at de små tingene som holder pinnen på plass blir ødelagt fort. Nå har jeg brukt dette i flere måneder og jeg ser ikke noe feil. Det holder veldig bra! Føles godt og ser veldig stillig ut. Har bestilt flere nå for å gi som en gave, anbefales på det sterkeste!
OBS! Det er mange kopier av produktet som kan sikkert være av lavere kvalitet, vær forsiktig med å kjøpe fra de som kom opp med ideen, det er der jeg kjøpe det :3

Purchased the basic version. I absolutely loved the concept, but after using it for a while I've sadly found that Lastswab isn't efficient at cleaning your ears. The TPE material and the little nubs on the ends are oddly counter-productive to cleaning, as they only serve to push things around rather than pick anything up.

I was really excited to have found a sustainable alternative to cotton swabs, so I'm disappointed that this didn't work. I hope Lastswab will put in the effort to develop the product into one that works more efficiently in the future, because I still think this is an idea worth supporting.

Forstår ikke, hvorfor man ikke kan købe Lastswab uden det ligegyldige itui :/ Har efterhånden købt mange Lastswabs, da de som regel knækker efter cirka en måneds tid. Men når man er nød til at få et nyt itui med, hver gang man bestiller en ny Lastswab, så tvivler jeg på, hvor mange ressourcer der faktisk er sparet 😅 Har nu en samling af 8 flotte tomme itu’er, efter at have brugt LastSwab i ca et år.

Not here to review the delivery but the product itself. It's a really great concept but unfortunately doesn't work at all. I love supporting renewables but it feels more like this product was created to make money and not actually help the planet. Material is fairly harsh and feels like it will hurt my ear if I make any tiny mistake. There is no texture on the swab, just those half-spheres which literally don't do anything. My wife and I gave it a chance for 2 weeks, didn't want to discard it after one or two tries but it's just terrible, won't clean your ears at all. They didn't really put much effort in the actual development it seems as there are some flaws that are so obvious, anyone could see it will not work. Very disappointed but what can you do. We'll keep looking for a better product, this one is unfortunately going into the recycle bin. "Reply: it was the basic one with bumpy tips, wife is still not sure about the make up one 😁"

Har begge typer liggende og de kan ikke bruges til at rense øre med og de kan heller ik bruges til make up!!!!

Hurtig leveringstid, fint produkt. Make-up pinden er dog ikke helt nem at bruge.

Unlike the vast majority of the reviews here my product did arrive, but there are some interesting comments to add here:
1. I got 4 swabs total. Specifically 2 purple (1 beauty 1 basic) and 2 pink (1 beauty 1 basic). On the outside of the packaging it only mentioned 3 of the 4 products contained inside, with the colors all wrong. This was a bit strange, and seemed like they had put the wrong label on the package or something.
2. Fortunately, the contents were actually the 4 swabs I ordered.
3. Actually acquiring this package was a gongshow. They did not put my address properly as it was missing the apartment number.. So I had to go to London Drugs to try and pick it up, and when I did they had no package. When they looked it up to track it, it said the package did not exist, yet someone attempted to deliver it and left a slip?
4. After much confusion they suggested I call the postal service. While looking up the number and waiting for an UBER, someone had found the package in the back somehow.

Although this was a bit of a disaster, the swabs are good and do as advertised for me and my partner. They don't entirely replace cotton swabs but definitely do cut down on waste significantly and this is good. However given the overwhelming amount of negative reviews about this company and the large number of alternatives when it comes to silicone or biodegradable swabs, I would suggest ordering from a different company; one that isn't so lackluster.

Fedt koncept, men ubrugeligt produkt. Jeg har lige taget vatpinden til makeup i brug, men i stedet for at fjerne overskydende mascara, tværer den det bare ud. Den gør det faktisk værre end inden brug af den :(
