Unfulfilled Promises & Disappointment
I placed this order on Dec 2 specifically to support a small American business and knowingly paid more than cheaper alternatives because I wanted that experience. I carefully chose the gifts and ordered well before the holiday rush so they would arrive in time for Christmas.
On Dec 11 the company emailed saying the order was delayed, upgraded shipping, and promised a 10% refund for the inconvenience. The order still did not ship until Dec 18 and the promised refund never came. I attempted to contact the company multiple times through their website and received no response.
The package ultimately arrived very late on Christmas Eve — literally as my family was walking out the door to our holiday gathering. Instead of giving a wrapped gift I had thoughtfully selected weeks earlier, I had to hand over a plain shipping box I hadn’t even opened yet. It looked exactly like I had ordered at the last minute and didn’t care, which was the opposite of what I tried to do by ordering early.
When the promised refund still hadn’t been issued and my contact attempts went unanswered, I had to escalate through PayPal and later the BBB just to get attention on the issue. By the time the BBB complaint was filed I had already spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve something that should have been simple.
At that point I requested a $50 refund for the time and effort required to chase down a promise the company had already made. That amount was less than half the cost of the order and felt like a very reasonable request given the weeks of follow-up and forced escalation involved.
I am an autistic woman and my sense of fairness and accountability is very strong. When companies make promises to customers, those promises should matter. In this situation the company had multiple opportunities to simply make things right, but instead chose to continue disputing the issue rather than resolving it in a customer-centered way.
My goal here is not to be a “Karen.” My goal is to help other people save the time and hassle that this situation required. When we purchase something—especially gifts—we have a reasonable expectation to receive what we paid for within the timeframe that was promised. In this case, that very basic expectation was not met.

Ultimately the value of this order was nowhere near worth the amount of time required to hold the company accountable for something that should have been straightforward. What should have been a simple purchase became months of follow-up and escalation, and the experience left me feeling that the time customers spend chasing basic resolutions simply isn’t taken seriously.

Poor company... I waited for over 1 year for a vest or jacket ccw... they market they carry but not once has it been in stock over the year. why market a product you don't carry. fuxed up company stay away!

Difficult exchanges
First I want to say that the products I have received from Legendary Whitetails have all been high quality and met my expectations. The problem, however, is the customer service. Initially, when I placed my order in the window where it was promised to come before Christmas, it arrived late. They did send a coupon to make up for it, so I felt ok about that. Then I wanted to exchange my item for a different size and that’s where the problem was. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with 3 different customer service agents to try and get the exchange processed AFTER I had followed all of their exchange processes (mailing back the item with the return/exchange document from the website). They said the could not run my card, but they had the wrong number, and even after I corrected the number to a live person multiple times they still could not get it correct. Once that was finally dealt with they said everything was good to go and I trusted my exchange was being processed. Then I received multiple calls telling me they needed more information, and each time it was like starting from scratch. It was a very frustrating experience. At this point, I’m just hoping the correct item arrives. I will say every customer service rep. that I spoke to was kind.

If I could give zero stars I would. The jacket looks good but that's as far as this company goes. I bought a jacket Nov 28th and by Feb 2nd the heavy duty zipper broke. I reached out to them for a replacement and it took 6 emails for them to tell me there was nothing they could do. There customer service sucks. Don't waste your time or money.

Everything was fine with ordering the items and the style and quality were good. I was happy with the actual product but the return process ruined my experience. I attempted to return through their portal which was newly created and not a working. I than called but could not get through "due to them not taking any other calls and handling the current inquiries". I called another day as soon as they opened and received the same message, this prompted me to reach out via email. After a couple days i was answered via email and provided a return shipping label and paper work several days later. I returned my item and after 2 weeks of no refund called the company and got the original message. I reached out via email and did not receive the proper response. I received a generic email about how to process a return. 2 weeks later i tried the customer service number again before filing the dispute with pay pal. 1 month from the date of sending my item back I got in touch with the representative who advised they just received my paper work and were filing the return.
Personal attention
Although my Christmas order was somewhat delayed it did not matter as we had to shift our celebration to a later time and the package was delivered before so it was no harm no foul. But customer service is where they shined with immediate response via email and even follow up emails to check on our overall experience. Personal attention in a world of computers. Love their quality and service

They will NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. I have called over 6 TIMES since my order on 12/3 and a couple of weeks ago they said they would issue the refund and never did. I returned the item they verified they received it and Now I have to dispute with my bank - $90!!!!

First took over 3 weeks to receive items when it said 3-5 days shipping. Then needed to exchange item fir larger size. It has been a month since they received the item to exchange with no communication. Have talked to customer service 2x (after 50+ minutes on hold) to be told they are so busy after holidays and it should ship "next week " . Last contact was a week ago.

TERRIBLE PRODUCTS, WORSE SERVICE EVER....!
If I could give no stars I would. First time ordering, I ordered several items as Xmas gifts and was never sent a confirmation email. Waited three weeks with no email. Emailed customer service and called (generic recording that suggests emailing the company if you have not received an email confirmation within 3 days, then hangs up on me). Filed a dispute with my cc company and two days later I receive a package which is missing the blanket that was supposed to come with the order as part of a holiday promo. A week AFTER I receive the order, I then receive a shipping confirmation email and response from customer service agent. I respond back that I'd like to return these items and share about my experience - TWO WEEKS GO BY before I hear back. I am not pleased with the communication, the products feel cheap and this whole experience has been a nightmare. I want to return items - but I will only now receive store credit because they only offer a return window of 30 days from the order date (and indeed, I could NOT get a response from them until we were well PAST the 30 day marker). I will NEVER order from this company again. Go to LL Bean instead. They are stellar!

It took 25 minutes to get my call answered. On the end the woman took care of me but with how long it took to get my original order and how long it took to get someone to answer the phone I wonder if you are a new company without proper staffing or what the deal is. I do like your products but am hoping I receive my next order as promised in 4 to 7ndays.

Ordered 12/1/25 charged immediately. Items didn't ship until 12/12/25. Received a week later just before Christmas. Had to ship items back due to sizing. Was on phone 1.5 hrs on hold hung up and found form online to ship back. Tracking by USPS shows items were received by company on 1/2/26. I still have not heard from the company regarding the items I wanted to exchange. I'm now out money. This company has been reported and suspect they will not honor my purchases and I'm now out of the money spent. I'll be leaving reviews every where I can to make sure people don't buy from them.

I bought four flannel shirts on 8 December. It wasn’t until a couple of days before Christmas that they told me they would be late! Well, 5 days after Christmas they showed up. 3 of them are fine, but one has cuff buttonholes that are pulled and frayed - almost like the buttonholer is broken irreparably. I asked to return it, but nobody has acknowledged my request for a return. This company seems to be miserable. I wish I could talk to someone.
Well, I got an email back from the company. She asked for pictures of the poor quality buttonholes. I sent several pictures. Again, crickets chirping. I am so tired of this company’s poor customer service!!
