Clear advice on the best way to proceed bearing in mind our requirements. Helpful brochure provided with various options. Work (carried out in December 2025) completed on time despite horrendous rain and in cold conditions. Employees were always polite, friendly and informative. No mess left after the work was carried out. Follow-up was very good with questions answered clearly and promptly. We have had the solar panels, EV charger and battery for nearly 6 months and are very pleased with the performance of the system. (Sigen and Hypervolt).

We have wanted to install solar and a battery pack for quite a long time. We looked at the market widely for a good installer and received quite a few quotes, but we were not happy with the quotes or the advice received. We also considered Costco Solar because of their guarantee and got quotes from them too, but the installer was not giving enough information.
We put the project on hold, and then we came across Lewis at LET Electrical Ltd through one of his previous customers. We met Lewis and didn't think twice — we instructed him to install our solar and battery package straight away.
I didn't write this review immediately. I waited a few weeks to check the system properly, because I didn't want to write a fake or misleading review. We are professionals and our reviews are genuine.
I will give Lewis and his team five stars. He has a very good team of electricians and solar installers who go the extra mile to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction.
I will strongly recommend LET Electrical Ltd — they are one of the best installers in the country. If you are looking for solar installation, don't think twice, just go for it. That's guaranteed.

We have been so impressed with Lewis and his team from start to finish. From the initial phone call discussing why we were considering having solar and what we were looking for. Paul who came to our house and worked up the proposal. Daisy in the office responsive to any question we may have. Mark and Greg who installed the solar panels and Marley who installed the Inverter and Battery, they were all very conscientious and considerate on the day of installation. We also enjoy the informative emails that Lewis sends with Solar information and Tariffs that are interesting to read. One of the reasons we went with LET is the after care package they offer and look forward to continuing the good relationship that has begun. We would recommend them to anyone looking to have solar installed with their price being competitive and their service being excellent.

I was impressed right from the start with LET renewables. Paul who visited us to carry out the survey and plan the system for us arrived bang on time, always a good sign. He was very personable and took the time to explain the system and how it would be installed. The installation team turned up on time and the installation seemed to go very well. The job itself was very neat and all the cables and equipment were installed where we wanted them. Once again the installation team were very friendly and engaging and answered any questions we had. We were appraised of what was going on and when through the entire process from consultation to installation. I can’t imagine anyone could have done a better job of making the process any easier for us. Thoroughly Recommended.

I've just had Let Electrical install a 16kW solar system with 45kW/hr Sigenergy battery and Sigenergy Gateway.

The team was superb from start to finish

I found LET Electicals by chance on Facebook, I submitted an interest form and Lewis contacted me very quickly. We arranged an onsite viewing as the install was going to be complex as it was a 3 roof installation. Following the site visit the the options were presented in an easy to understand format and Lewis was happy to jump on a Zoom call to discuss options and I signed up to have the install.

The DNO process was seemless and we arranged the install for week commencing the 11th May for a 3 day installation.

The install team arrived on time and all I can say is that they were exemplary in every respect. They were punctual, polite, carefull with my property and belongings, if there were options on how items could be installed or cabling run, they always consulted me on my preference and when they left, they tidied everything up and it was at least as tidy when they left as when they arrived, if not a bit tidierand they completed the installation in 2 days.

The price offered was significantly better than other offers I had received for a superior system.

Very impressed with the quality of installation and how friendly, open and honest the installation team were. The 2 installers arrived very promptly and according to schedule. The install site was left clean and tidy and approval was sought for the final location of hardware. Everything was explained succinctly and to our satisfaction. Very happy we chose LET Electrical and Renewables for our battery supply and fit. Highly recommended.

I used LET to install solar panels, battery, inverter and EV charger. Initially I was very impressed with Lewis in terms of providing a clear explanation and thorough review of our requirements, and then through installation the team were exceptional in consulting, describing what they were doing, and tidying up! I recently had solar panels installed by LET Electrical, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From the very beginning, Paul was the representative who helped me make my decision. He was incredibly professional and did a wonderful job explaining everything without any pressure.
What really stands out about this company is their communication. They kept me updated every step of the way via Whats app, email, and phone calls. If any minor issues popped up, they were dealt with as soon as possible. It is rare to find a team this dedicated to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

After getting quotes from many companies for adding batteries to my existing solar system I went with LET. I found the explanations from Lewis clear and able to answer all my questions with no hard sell. Once I’d made the decision the communication was excellent, and on the day Marley and Mark did a fantastic job with installation, neat and tidy, exactly as described. Support afterwards has been great. Would highly recommend.

Let Renewables have been exceptional from the very beginning. I obtained a couple of quotes for solar and battery installation, but Let Renewables were the only company that took the time to visit my property, carry out a proper survey, and engage with me one‑to‑one. That alone set them apart.

From the ordering stage onwards, everything was clear, transparent, and upfront. All costs were explained in advance—no hidden extras, no surprises. I knew exactly what to expect and when invoices would be due, which gave me complete confidence throughout the process.

The admin support was equally impressive. Daisy kept in touch consistently, providing regular updates and patiently answering any questions or concerns I had along the way. Communication was seamless from start to finish.

Installation was booked promptly and everything ran exactly to schedule. Kieran and Marley handled the electrical and battery installation, and I honestly couldn’t fault their work. The finish was perfect—spotless, professional, and of an exceptional standard. Cable routes were discussed and agreed with me beforehand, the Sigenergy system was clearly explained, and all safety switches were properly labelled and walked through. It was reassuring, informative, and very well executed.

The roofing team who installed the panels were just as impressive—extremely neat, professional, and clearly proud of the quality of their work.

The process was a very slick operation from the start to the completion of the installation. It was only a few weeks between contacting LET Renewables for the first time to having the solar and battery setup finished.
I was impressed with the information and videos by LET shown online which explained the advantages and benefits of solar installations. Initially, Lewis replied to the query and then, with no pressure, offered to come and do a no-obligation, no-cost, drone survey and roof inspection and then come up with some proposals, dependant on our aims.
On the survey day Lewis arrived and we discussed some ideas before he got the drone up and checked the roof. We then sat down for a discussion about options and we came up with several proposals, at a number of price points, and with various types of hardware. These were provided as browsable proposals, showing the expected returns of each idea. Lewis left these with us to consider whether we wanted to proceed. In the next few days Lewis followed up to make sure we had everything we needed, but didn’t pressure or intrude on our thoughts. We were undecided whether to install panels on just the west side or both east and west. Eventually Lewis offered (for a small fee) to submit plans for the grid DNO application to find out how much we would be allowed to export to the grid. This was expected to take several weeks, but we had a reply a couple of days later with permission to export what we required for panels on both sides of the roof, so decided to go ahead with the full installation.
The equipment was ordered and the installation date booked with the scaffolding being erected the day before and dismantled a week later. The installation of the 32 panels, shared between the two sides of the roof, inverter, batteries, and home backup were all completed in 2 days. We also had a car charger installed at the same time. The 3 guys who completed this were friendly, tidy, knowledgeable and pleasant and communicated at each step of the way. Finally, all the components were tested and handed over with a clear explanation of how it all works. The app setup was also done and demonstrated. They worked hard and finished all the work in super-quick (but not hurried) time, ensuring everything was left neat and tidy. They even replaced some dodgy tiles as part of the service.
All the appointments were on time, well communicated and a pleasant experience. Their knowledge, professionalism and expertise were great.
We’ve eagerly monitored the operation of the system, and haven’t had to import any power from the grid for several days, even in February. We look forward to getting the final documentation so we can apply to our energy provider for the export tariff.
Overall, this has been a great experience and we are delighted we chose LET Renewables for our installation and would highly recommend them.

We recently had a Solar Battery and EV Charger installed at our home. I can honestly say that the level of service from LET Electrical was 5 Star. From the initial site survey through to the installation, the communication and workmanship was top class.
On the day the the guys who carried out the work were excellent and would not leave until they had done a handover and was happy that I was fully up to speed with what was installed. The rain was torrential on installation day but the guys just cracked on with what they had to do.

Solar and battery system installation.
Let Electrical & Renewables is a small company full of knowledge made up of family and friends. My experience has proven that they have and apply traditional values i.e. delivering quality equipment that has been discussed and agreed. Taking time to explain and answer questions pre sale, during installation and post installation whilst always being polite and punctual.
Prior to installation there was no "sales" pressure, just professional, knowledgeable guidance from Lewis to configure an optimised solar and battery system. There was no overselling or overly optimistic performance claims. This approach gave me the confidence to proceed.
Installation commenced on time in mid December during a spell of poor weather, amazingly, Mark kept working on the roof during the rain showers to enable an on time completion was achieved. Care was taken with the cable runs so that they are unobtrusive and positioning of all the units to make a very neat installation.
Following installation, support has been excellent, all the expected documentation arrived. Assistance over the Christmas break (whilst they were on holiday) was given without hesitation to setup the mySigen app for a new tariff.
The performance predictions given prior to sale are being achieved, which is impressive, given that there is a lot of shade and the solar panels are west facing.
In summary; its been a refreshing experience to find a company who provide and deliver what has been agreed and actually take care. Well done and thank you Lewis and the team.

A former colleague suggested LET when I started looking into a Solar PV and hime battery system. I approached them and they have been nothing but professional.
I have described the experience of looking for Solar systems as like being circled by sharks - it's akin to buying double glazing 30 years ago!
LET were very much the exception to that experience - information aplenty, but no pressure. They gave me a sensible solution to my wants and needs, with sound advice and tailored a system. to my requirements, rather than what they wanted to sell.
All of the team have been pleasant, professional and clearly knowledgeable about the products and the way to use them. They turned up when they said they would, acted respectfully and decently, utilised up with me asking lots of questions and watching their work (Sorry guys, but I am interested!) and completed the job in good time, despite some pretty horrible weather at the time.
I have no hesitation in recommending LET - their whole team were great and I love the new installation.
