Really recommend
I'm using Libristo for about 2 years now. Sometimes you have to wait a bit but if it's preordered they ask everytime if you want to cancel or wait a bit longer. Yes, normally you have to wait a bit for order to arrive but customer service is great and if you're using other means of payment - like klarna - you pay only when they will send the order, not before. Great variety of books, I really recommend the site.

I ordered several books and waited over a month because one was in reprint. Unfortunately, a month later, I found out it was out of stock. What irritated me most was that if I wanted to keep waiting for the book, I'd have to pay for shipping again, even though it wasn't my fault.

We understand that waiting for a book and then learning it is unavailable can be very frustrating. In this case, the title was expected to be reprinted by the publisher, which is why it remained available for order in our store. Unfortunately, the publisher later informed us that the reprint would not take place or that the book was no longer available, which was beyond our control.
Regarding the shipping cost, if one of the titles has got the status ‚reprint‘ and the client wishes to split his order, then we ask for the second shipment payment. However, we understand why this situation felt unfair from your perspective, especially after waiting so long, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We are continuously working on improving how we communicate availability and publisher updates to avoid situations like this in the future. If you would like us to review your order again, please feel free to contact our customer service team with the order number.

everything went smoothly, books were packaged safely and with great care and the order arrived within estimated time. :) i also really liked getting status updates to know what stage my order is on. pre-ordering a book went smoothly as well, when there was a risk that due to availability the order might be delayed, staff member reached out to inform me about it and suggested that if i don't wish to wait i can cancel the order or separate it so the books that are ready would be sent earlier, which i found to be a very nice gesture, as a customer i like staying informed when there are some changes with my orders. 5/5, i have no complaints

I always buy my books from Libristo and…
I always buy my books from Libristo and I am quite satisfied with the service. Although the waiting time is a bit longer, I appreciate that you can see the status of each book and usually, after all books arrive, within 48 hours I see that the books are sent to me.
I am surprised to see here so many 1 star reviews because my experience has been very positive. Even in cases where I would decide to not wait on a certain book to arrive, I would contact the customer support and they would issue a return of funds immediately for that book, proceeding with the order. I also had cases where I ordered both available and pre-order books within the same order and over the Libristo email, I contacted the support. They separated my order and I only had do pay shipping for the pre-order books once they arrive.
I can say that, if you are looking for a reliable book seller, Libristo is a great option as books are sometimes 15-30% cheaper than at the local stores. However, the delivery takes a bit of time

Przede wszystkim bardzo dziękuję za zrealizowanie i dostarczenie zamówienia. Zamówiłam trzy ok 250 stronicowe książki w rozmiarze A4. Książki przyszły nowiutkie ale bez żadnej folii zabezpieczającej i w rozpadającym się kartoniku oklejonym taśmą klejącą. Rogi książek są pozaginane o wyglądają już na zniszczone. Uwazam że przy niewielkim zaangażowaniu można było zapakować książki w pudełko po butach i zabezpieczyć środek gazetami lub folią bombelkowa co sprawiłoby że książki dotarły by w stanie idealnym. Ogólnie jestem zadowolona z książek bo długo na nie czekałam ale warunki ich transportowania są widoczne od pierwszej strony. Mimo wszystko dziękuję. Czy polecam? Nie wiem. Przekonajcie się sami. Pozdrawiam serdecznie
