The prices have increased so to force people to take their subscriptions. The concept is good but I don't think that it is worth at that price.

It was easy to copy and paste the content ID into my descriptions. My videos were published without being flagged or taken down. Having hand-picked music makes the quality of my videos better. I do hope there will be a wider variety of electronic music in the future. (I like future funk like Young Bae and retro city pop.)

Good to great music and an incredibly easy copyright clearing system. Doesn’t alway work, especially at weekends, but usually by midday Monday things are sorted.

The new prices will prevent me from using this service again. It was 8 dollars and now over 30. Horrible business move

Lickd provides content creators such as myself access to license countless music tracks from A-list artists such as Sam Smith and Lizzo for use in our videos. Being able to use top charting songs as the soundtrack to our creative works is an incredible asset that was previously unavailable to small artists.

Its nice to be able to use popular songs your audience relates to without worrying about that dreaded Copyright knock on your door.

I give it 4 Stars out of 5 only because it seems a bit spendy and some of the songs are not Copyright Free due to International guidelines. I get it but I just wish they would label these tracks a bit better so you don't go through the entire process of scrolling through, listening to, getting your hopes up to download and then be told, "Sorry for your bad luck, you should move to a different Country."

Again, I understand this is out of their hands, just label these songs better's or remove them completely as an option. Overall a fun and innovative addition to your music library. The Free/ Non Copyrighted music offered is of high quality as well. They just need a little better of a player and ways of creating Playlists, I suggest something similar to the way the Epidemic layout is. That would be a nice upgrade. Thank you

I’ve always wanted to use mainstream music for my YouTube videos and Lickd has allowed me to do so. Using recognisable songs enhances the viewing experience hugely for the audience. The communication with Lickd is great and I’ve really enjoyed working with them.

I love that after years of not being able to monetize my videos, I can actually make money on YouTube without asking subscribers to donate or pay. Another benefit is when a video has a copyright claim, your merch shelf doesn’t show up under the video, so it has helped with awareness of our online shop. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is that there have been a couple of instances where a song is available, so I choreograph a workout to it, but when I go to purchase the license, it says it’s not available in my country. I learned to double check that before putting it into a video, but I wish there was a way to communicate that visually without pretending to purchase the track. The other thing I have run into a couple of times is the song is listed, I double check that it is available in my country, then I choreograph it for a video, but when I go to purchase the license, it’s no longer available. This has luckily been able to be corrected by the support team with an e-mail every time, but it is extra time and work. One last suggestion would be that the creators didn’t have to repeat their license information in the e-mail with the video link since the video attribution is already in the description. That would save a lot of time! Overall, I am sooooo pleased that popular music is available for the first time ever for fitness creators such as myself to make quality workouts and make money like other YouTubers! Finding good music for my workouts videos was always the hardest part of my edit, but using lickd made it so much easier! And I always get comments saying they love my music 😄👊 it’s awesome using chart tracks!

I’ve been working with Lickd as an independent content creator for coming up to 1 year now, and the expansion of their library and user experience/ interface has been truly mind blowing. Not only is it incredibly simple to use, but their library of chart songs is unrivalled and truly game changing for any content creator looking to up their game in the highly competitive YouTube space.

Lickd is great, its only flaw is that UMG songs don't get cleared automatically. We're often losing the first 1 - 2 days on ad revenue since we post on weeekends and can't have the video cleared until you guys are open. Once its cleared on your side its often another 6 hours until UMG clear it too.

Amazing experience. Always the latest tracks available to use in my videos. Prompt and helpful customer service. Any time there's a copyright claim it's sorted in under 24 hours and usually as fast as just a few hours. There's nothing else quite like this service in the space and I hope that Lickd continue to grow and make it easy for creators like me to sound awesome online!

The best place to find new music for videos. I used them to place chart music in my Youtube which I can also monotise. It's fantastic value and you dont get any problems.

Gotta be honest, not being able to view the library before giving my credit card info gives strong scam vibes

I click the browse button, it gives me a quick glance over the tracks, and then it is covered by "give us your credit card info" without any way to go back

I find it strange that you cannot see what you are buying before you sign up. I only wanted a handful of tunes to create a charity clip but couldn’t see whether they had the tunes.
Then I couldn’t see how you stopped your subscriptions.
And finally they demand that you use a Google account for sign up. Why? I keep my Google account very private to avoid spam and use an msn account for more public stuff but you can’t set up with an man account.

These guys are incredibly thorough and helpful with their licensing. Zob was great to speak with and answered all of my licensing questions!

I think Lickd.co is great, with by far the best music selection of any site of this sort I have seen. I use them to acquire licenses for songs I use in independently created music videos with game footage visuals from Final Fantasy XIV.

It is true that there are limits in how the music can be used, but there are many instances where you will find these licenses helpful. If you make original content that needs attached music, this site is for you. I have found customer service to be prompt and helpful when releasing claims; just remember they operate under UK time (daytime hours weekdays).

As for the license reverting if the video gets over 500k views in the first month: this is a highly unusual situation, and my sense is that while in such a case you would lose monetization of that single video, the rights holder would not issue a Strike against your channel. Copyright Strikes and Blocks are our biggest risks. Avoid those risks with Lickd.co.
