Customer service was above and beyond

The company cancelled and refunded my money very quickly. The communication was great and effective. Customer service is exceptional. Can’t say enough.

I paid $135 for a product and company charged me $135 for the UPS return label!!
Won’t get a full refund EVER.
Light fixtures look okay but don’t order from this company because you cannot get your full money back in a return ever. If you open your box, nothing. If you don’t open, you still pay $50 plus to ship back. They also only give you 7 days. Literally any other company you could order from is better.
I was surprised!
We were able to find fixtures that pretty much reflected the design we were trying to achieve. The price was alright but the quality was a bit flimsy. Thin sheet metal. Plastic ABS components serving as primary structural features. So, it was not a huge surprise when one of the three fixtures we purchased broke. The weak link was the ABS which was holding the weight of the glass and bulb. Somebody must have bumped against the fixture and that was all it took.
Anyway, what I was surprised about was LFUSA's willingness to replace the entire fixture. Frankly, I don't know how else it could be repaired since it was permanently wired together. NOT a great design. But they replaced it and it was reinstalled a week later. I was very surprised given the horror stories I've read.
I'd still advise caution but they did what they needed to do, so I guess I can't complain.
Our experience was fine
I read all of these horrible reviews after placing an order with lightfixtureusa and got really panicked, so I'm sharing my experience. We ordered a big drum fixture- it arrived quickly, we received email notifications from the company verifiying the order and tracking, and the light arrived in excellent condition. It wasn't a fancy or expensive fixure so I have no comparison for quality. The box was clearly marked Made in China and I definitly got that vibe from the website, but we had a perfectly fine experince with this company and it seemed legit. I don't want to discount anyone who had a bad experience because I realize that happens, but things with our transaction were fine.
Do not order from this company
Do not order from this company! They don’t show negative reviews on their listings, and for good reason! I ordered what was supposed to be an amber brown light fixture, but I opened the package to find a neon orange light. I was charged as soon as I made the order, but it wasn’t shipped until a month and a half later. It conveniently came into stock the day that I tried to cancel my order for the second time.
FIXTURES ARE SAFETY TESTED/LISTED
I ordered a light fixture that said it was listed but it arrived with no listing sticker showing it was tested and safe for install. The electricians let me know it's not safe to install. Now I am out the cost of the fixture AND have to pay to have the electricians come back. Scam website. Do not use.

Sold a product that wasn’t in stock. I wasn’t given notice at the time and a week later reached out to them to ask where my package was. Here’s the response:
“We are sorry that the fixtures you purchased are out of stock currently, and it is expected to be available in early January. Please be assured that we will arrange shipment as soon as the light is available. It takes 2-3 business days for the light to arrive at your shipping address from our warehouse in CA. Could you kindly wait a bit more?”
I notice that the light is still available for sale a week later with no indication it’s not actually in stock. I bring this up and ask for my money back because this is shady practice. Their response:
“Thank you for reaching out, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Occasionally, there may be a slight delay in the system updating product availability, and we’re very grateful that you brought this to our attention. We will report this to our technical department for further verification and improvement.
If you are willing to wait a little longer, we would be happy to offer an extra 5% refund for the inconvenience. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can help you exchange the light for another fixture that is currently in stock. You can send us a link or a picture of the alternative fixture, and we’ll assist you in adjusting your order accordingly.”
My options apparently aren’t getting a refund. My credit card company disagrees. I don’t know what’s going on with this company but this is effectively a scam and I advise anyone to avoid them entirely.
DO NOT PURCHASE
I was very disheartened by my experience. I ordered lights, needed to return them the next day, and was charged $500 in return shipping. The website is severely misleading. It is very bizarre they were trying to pay me to keep the items when I could not use them. Now I am out $500 and have no light fixtures. I called 10x and no one ever responded.
Return Restrictions Hidden in Fine Print
Their return policy states that items cannot be returned once they’ve been unpacked or assembled. This is frustrating, since you often can’t fully evaluate a product until you put it together. What makes it worse is that this restriction isn’t clearly highlighted - it’s tucked away under the “Restocking Fees” section of the policy. Unless you carefully read every detail or ask in advance, you won’t discover this limitation until it’s too late.

Horrendous customer service
Horrendous customer service. Called and emailed over multiple business days with no response until almost a week later. Nobody answers the phone number provided on the website.
Website also states easy returns, but they wanted to charge me $600 in shipping on a return of 3 lights. The lights shipped to me from NJ but they required me to return ship them to CA and I am on the East Coast.
I cannot stress enough how frustrating this transaction has been with the shipping charges and complete lack of communication from their customer service team.

Fixtures come unassembled! Returns difficult!
Fixtures come unassembled. Figuring I would probably foul up assembling the fixture, I decided to return it. They require you to pay for shipping (expensive for a fragile item of this weight) and for you to send 4-6 photos of the item showing the fixture parts, the packing, the box and the shipping label before they'll approve the return. Obviously they make it as difficult as possible to return the item and hope you won't bother. I'm going to try to assemble it, and based on other reviews I half expect the bulbs not to work. At that point, I'll do my best to ship it back and hope for the best.

Total Scam - do not buy
Took an order, charged my card but no valid phone number and they do not respond to e-mails. Huge scam. Haw can they have a Trust score of 77? I looked at Trust Pilot before ordering, it is a blemish on Trust Pilot and the foreign scammers they gave a decent rating.

Very responsive, beautiful light
These one star reviews are bizarre. Customer service from this company was great- the ceiling light I wanted was listed on their website as being on backorder, so I emailed to ask if they had any idea when they would be back in stock. I got a reply the same day telling me approximately 4 weeks. We ordered the light, and almost exactly 4 weeks later we received a shipping notification.
They were responsive, and the light we purchased was gorgeous and easy to install.
They are ok.
I don't normally review purchases, but since this company didn't have great reviews I was a bit skeptical to order from them. I ordered two lights from Lightfixturesusa. They were both made in China, but were in stock in the USA. Since I ordered early on a Friday, I expected a shipping email that evening, I did not get one. I got an email Monday that my order was shipped, it arrived to Texas Wednesday 5 days after my order was placed. Install went just fine, its a typical made in China quality light, not bad, but not American made either. I will say it was a bit better than most of what you find in the big box stores. Ignore the size in the pictures, just look at the dimensions of the light and set a tape measure in your space for an idea on size. The images used on their website are way out of proportion to make the lights look way larger than they actually are. I got what I wanted from the company and the price was not out of range. I would buy from this company again if needed.

Order from somewhere else! Website misleading and terrible customer service. Bought a very expensive lamp and website indicated free returns, color was not as stated on the website so was unhappy with my purchase. When I went to return the company said they were not free and it would cost ~$180 for shipping. I shipped it on my own to their address on file and they said it was sent to the wrong one so did not refund them the money. Currently out of pocket for the purchase price of the lamp that I no longer have in my possession + return shipping. Would think with all the options for lamps this company would be better to work with and would not mislead customers on their website.
Do not purchase from Light Fixtures…
Do not purchase from Light Fixtures USA. I ordered lights based on the photos on the website, which were way out of proportion for the size they actually were (they appear larger in the photos on the site and the scale is completely off). I requested a return fully ready to pay return shipping, but was told that the lights I ordered were not from their warehouse and that I must have ordered from another site, which I did not. The box label came from a UPS Overgoods location, which in my own investigation with UPS, is a department where damaged boxes get re-labeled and sent to the final destination.
Light Fixtures USA opened a claim with UPS, but I had to continually follow up and hound them about answers. Either the package is lost/missing and you give me a full refund, or you believe me and allow me to ship back the lights I have that match your SKU and website description.
Three months later, after continual prodding and no conclusion from UPS, Light Fixtures USA all of a sudden believes my side of the story and accepts my return request, but requires me to pay for return shipping. So, they basically want to have their cake and eat it, too, dragging out this situation for three months, claiming they "can't" accept returns that don't come directly from their warehouse, but then when they realize they will have to give a full refund for a lost package, they now want the lights back at my expense.
I should have kept my mouth shut when the "customer service" rep constantly questioned me about buying these from another website and allowed them to file a lost package with UPS. Instead, I insisted I had lights they could re-stock and re-sell for the refund and got penalized for the honesty.
Not to mention, it's been three months and a total energy suck...
