Two privately owned self catering Lodges based on Limefitt Park in the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, near Windermere in the Lake District. Each Lodge sleeps 4 plus and infant in a cot and is dog friendly. They have their own independent WiFi system. Secure large decking area to the front and side with views of the fells. Wonderful location - great accomodation
Stayed for 4 nights in April 2021. I had never stayed before and was unsure how it would be - but it was fantastic! Tip top clean chalet, car parking right beside the lodge. Chalets are cunningly spaced so you feel privacy even though, obviously they are all in a park. The hillside means that mot chalets have a lovely view in 1 direction or another. The park was not noisy (ok, April, quite low season) and you can walk right out of the back onto the fells. Buses stop outside as well if you want to do a one-way walk. The check-in was great - totally hands free. No queuing up for ages and waiting for your key. We needed maintenance for a broken fridge door at 1 point and they came straight away and sorted it. First class service.
The only downside was wifi and mb signal which was non existent/patchy for 2 days out of 5. We were told this is a regular problem. Difficult if, like me, you need to check work emails etc. Otherwise Limefitt was perfect and I thoroughly recommend

Hi Rosi. as you say in your review Limefitt Park is a great place for a holiday. Unfortunately you did not stay in one of my privately owned Lodges. I have my own independent wifi in each of my lodges as we holiday there and I need to have a good wifi connection. I will pass on your comment about the maintenance team to the Park Manager, Sue
Perfect customer service
We didn’t even get to stay at Sue’s lodge due to the tier system but she deserves an excellent review due to outstanding customer service. Refused to take payment until one week before to ensure we could go under the new tiers. We got confirmation we were both in Tier 2 so paid then two days later we get moved to Tier 3. Sue refunded within a couple of hours, deposit included, with no hesitation. Excellent communication throughout and just perfect customer service. We will definitely hire in the future purely based on the experience we’ve had with Sue. Thank you x

Limefitt Lodges
Spent another lovely, long weekend at Limefitt. Lodge was perfect with spectacular views. Great facilities for children (play park and football field) and dogs (one of the best exercising areas I’ve seen). Walks from the door too. Would definitely recommend. ❤️☺️

Great lodges, Great owners!
We have stayed in Fellwalker lodge several times and always been impressed with the facilities, service and price. We were recently booked to stay in Hollybank for the first time. Unfortunately we were unable to travel due to being diagnosed with COVID-19 two days before our stay. The owners fully refunded us straight away and without asking, which shows the excellent level of friendly, attentive service you can expect. We will definitely be booking many future holidays with Limefitt Lodge Holidays. Thank you!
