Took money, no goods, no contact

02.04.2026 - placed order (Easter weekend so expected a slight delay) - got automated email confirming the order and saying that I'd get another email when the order has been dispatched.
10.04.2026 - sent them an email with my order number that simply asked 'Hi - just wondering when I can expect my order?'
13.04.2026 - as my email was ignored I completed the 'contact form' on their website. Then I thought I'd try and track down a phone number (nothing on their website) and found what I assume is still their number 0116 482 0187. Called, unsurprisingly no answer, so left a polite message asking if they could just let me know when I could expect my order to be dispatched.
Today is 16.04.2026 and I have not had any response from them at all. As far as I know nothing has been dispatched as no email.
I checked their website today and the item I ordered is still showing as 'In Stock' so clearly not a case of them not having any.... or maybe it is exactly that. Maybe they are advertising items they don't have, taking money and then scrambling to get items from whatever wholesaler they use? Not a great business model, but okay.
What is not okay is taking peoples hard earned money, not dispatching the order, not proactively contacting the customer if there is a problem, completely ignoring all attempts from the customer trying to find out if the order is ever going to be dispatched. Your own terms and conditions state that "Goods will be dispatched within 5 working days from ordering" - that part is in section 1 of the Delivery segment on your terms and conditions page (I have a screenshot in case you decide to change it now).
I've been patient and polite in all my communications, but nothing. The thing is - if you were just organised, responsive and honest I probably wouldn't have minded waiting as I like the product I ordered and I do prefer to support smaller independent businesses - but the fact that you have flat out ignored me is very irritating. So I've finally left this review - I've also contacted trading standards.

I have emailed you a reply and will answer on trust pilot too.

Your order was received on the 2nd april and i see it was dispatched on the 7th april, after the bank holiday weekend. This should have reached you by now of course so i assume it is a missing item. I have gone through all the emails since that date and cannot locate any communication of sorts through email or our contact us form online so this seems to have not reached us and i will get that looked into encase we have having some technical issued preventing some things coming in and to see if we arent missing any other customers communication.The telephone number you found is not on the website and is no longer in use by us, we got very few calls, so we cancelled the line. I have today sent more of the fencing out to you which shall arrive tomorrow. the tracking number i have emailed you will update shortly as the courier has collected the item.
As a gesture of goodwill for the issues you experienced, I will refund your postage costs and 20% of your order now. Please also note we would never amend terms and conditions to suit, but sometimes errors can happen and nothing is ever intentional.
If there is anything else I can assist you with or anything we can do more for you please get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
Apologies again, we didn't realise there was an issue with your order until the review received today.

Bought a patio cover

Bought a patio cover, Didn't get any updates until I chased with Emails and FB. Then arrived next day. Was getting worried, as its no longer the family ran garden centre it claims to be. But credit for good price and the item turning up.

Product didn't show up

I ordered something from them, and 7 days later realised I'd not heard anything about dispatch. I emailed them to enquire and still nothing 6 days later. They specifically say not to chase as you might get pushed to the bottom of the pile. I try hard not to use the likes of Amazon, and don't mind waiting a little while for something to arrive, but almost two weeks without any communication isn't on.

Poor after sales experience

I bought a Mculloch leaf blower before Chistmas and used it three times before the leaf bag started splitting. I have emailed twice about a warranty claim with no response. No one seems to answer the phone either. I am getting close to the Small Claim Court which is very disappointing. Good product apart from the bag though.

AN UPDATE - they have just been in touch to offer a replacement bag. Better late than never.

Excellent customer service

I ordered brown mason's baking dishes and received white pudding basins. The shop was then shut over the week of Christmas so I couldn't return them in time to get the items that I'd actually ordered. The company contacted me after New Year and their customer service was brilliant: apologised for their error, assured me that processes for sending out orders would be looked at and then suggested I keep the items, which are a lovely quality. Well done this company.

Customer Service

I had reason to contact the company regarding an order that I had placed. I have given this rating solely because of the service I received from Jade. She had been on annual leave which is why I had not received a reply to my previous emails. The matter has now been resolved to my satisfaction, which is down to the excellent customer service provided by Jade. My feedback has been passed on by Jade. Thank you Jade! V🙏

Order not sent / no response to any communication

I placed an order for £60 with this company, for an item that was listed as having 59 units in stock. I ordered 3 of the items, but the next day the listing was changed to "out of stock." I attempted to contact the company three times via phone and also sent an email over the course of the following week, but received no response. Other reviewers are reporting similar issues. Due to the lack of communication, I have been forced to request a chargeback, as no one is responding to any of my enquiries.

They reply to customers in the reviews saying they refunded but that was only after I made a claim with Paypal! They also ignored ALL communication about the order until they were forced to refund. Even then, they only replied to this review.

Then they edit their response with lies about not being called or e-mailed. What a joke. See the other negative reviews.

Hi David, thank you for your review. I can see your order was placed on the 28th November and a cancellation and refund was issued back to you. Unfortunately we have had a number of items activated on our website in error that are now discontinued and unobtainable. Our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused, If you have not received the deposit please allow 5-10 working days for the bank to revert that back to you. We have responded to all communication in date order and as your order was placed at the end of last week we responded when we could which has been in a very timely manner along with your refund issued, this could not have been done sooner as paypal holds funds for a few days before being released to us. I have also checked call history and emails and cannot see any other contact. As you can see we always respond to reviews good or bad going back a long time. I will check to see if we are having any technical issues our end our apologies.

Product hasn’t arrived but I’ve been charged. No response from company.

I ordered a dog cone 2 weeks ago. Little Fields Farm took payment straight away. I have not received the item, my online order still says “processing” and I have had no response to 2 emails which I have sent querying my order. I will have to seek redress from my credit card company. I’m not sure whether they are a fraudulent trader or just incompetent. Avoid.

Unfortunately i have been away for a couple of weeks on annual leave and some remaining staff at the business have also been sick which whilst i was away and unfortunately has had a knock on effect for us contacting customers and dispatching orders. We are only a small team of 5 so when things like this happen it can unfortunately throw things off and for that we sincerely apologise. I can see your order was cancelled and refunded back to you as when trying to obtain the collar our supplier has discontinued the item unfortunately and regretted to notify us Your refund can take up to 10 working days for your bank to process this back to you, so if not received already it should be with you shortly.
