Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. I bought the Christmas cake and was very disappointed with the quality. It was extremely dry and flavourless, and honestly inedible. It was particularly disappointing given that it cost £50, and quite embarrassing to see people leave it on their plates, especially after I had spoken so positively about it based on its appearance.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and I am sorry that you have been disappointed on this occasion.
I can assure you that all cakes are baked and prepared fresh for the date of delivery/collection. We do not pre-make, store or freeze our cakes.
We do recommend that cakes are allowed to come up to room temperature for at least 2-3 hours before serving to ensure the cake is served at its best.
I will ensure your feedback is passed across to the relevant teams for review to help us improve in future.

Christmas nationwide cake
The cake was so beautiful, I didn't want to eat it at first, cos it was so beautiful.
I got the double chocolate flavour and dammm it's so good, it tastes amazing it's not like those cakes that you'll eat it and feel like they drenched it with liquid hot chocolate.
Would definitely order again and recommend Lola's cupcake

I absolutely love buying birthday cakes from Lola's unfortunately my birthday was on the Sunday and I couldn't go and get my free cake and to do days after they wouldn't give it to me because I had to be picked up on the day that was a bit unfair

This was the first time ordering from Lola’s cake. The cake tasted delicious and really enjoyed the friends within it.
Only down side, I wanted the cake to be delivered as it was close to blue water but unfortunately they could not.

Bluewater Lola cakes
I received my order from Bluewater Lola cakes last week.
As this was a surprise cake I was surprised to find the cake not in good condition, however when I received the cake biscoff cake I was hugely disappointed as the biscoff on the cake looked like someone had nibbled on the cake . I raised it with staff but they very casually brushed it off...
considering your cake are high quality I was expecting the cake to arrive to in in good condition.
Some of my party guests were sceptical as to whether a staff person had tampered with the cake which is not the impression I was hoping for from Lola cakes.
