Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

The last cakes I ordered
The last cakes I ordered, where very hard to cut, the sponge quality is not as before, it falls apart like the sponge is overdue. Extremely sugar base. Impossible to finish.
I honest put in the 3 quarter of the cake.
Expensive and very disappointed.
The best cake I ordered was from last year June month for my daughter birthday. Huge success at the party.
I wouldn't be ordering more cakes from Lolas.
The delivery was very good.

I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the sweet shop cake and it was hard to cut and the base was sugary. This cake is one of our sweetest cakes and we do put a note on the cake ordering page in the product description. It is made with a butter icing which is very sweet and I can recommend any of our cream cheese iced cakes.
With taste and quality complaints we do like to investigate these and collect the cake within 48 hours for our bakery manager to review. We are proud of our high quality cakes so take any feedback on board and like to understand the issue. Without the cake we are unable to test this further.

I bought the pink mini tall cake with bows and it was wonderfully presented and tasted great as well!
It's definitely worth the price.

Order was seamless, went in store -Selfridge’s Oxford Street. Even got a free brownie - the red velvet one and it was so good! The cake itself was amazing! Got the chocolate fudge for my friend’s birthday and she really loved it ❤️ 10/10 experience. Would definitely recommend 👌🏾

Ordered the passion fruit and pistachio…
Ordered the passion fruit and pistachio cupcakes. I felt like the size of the cupcakes have definitely decreased over the last few years. The pistachio cupcake topping (kanefi texture) was a bit stale. Otherwise the mascarpone icing was good.

I am sorry to hear about this, I can assure you that our cupcakes have remained the same size. Our cupcakes are all baked fresh for sale but would need to be left at room temperature for 2 hours before serving otherwise they can appear a little dry.

I bought the Easter brownies. The Brownies were so chocolatey and delicious. The Brownies were the best ever . Really high quality ingredients. So incredible. So creamy and yummy. The Easter design on the Brownies was fantastic. I love Lola's cupcakes. I highly recommend Lola's cupcakes

Personally standard cakes from Lola is too sweet for me and our family. I chose the less sugar cream cheese frosting chocolate cake for my son’s birthday and everyone said its sweetness is perfect and the best they had in UK! Please make more less sweet cakes!

Not satisfied with my order
I usually get the cakes from Lola but this time the cake didn’t taste fresh at all. The sponge was dry and crumbly. Wasn’t very happy at all and we didn’t end up eating the cake.

I am very sorry to hear you thought the cake seemed dry.
This does not sound as per our usual high standard at all and not a reflection of our usual customer experience.
I can assure you we never pre-make any cakes in advance and all items are prepared and delivered fresh to order.
The cakes are kept chilled in our vans during delivery then in stores awaiting collection and can seem a little hard or dry in texture at first. It is best to allow the cake to come to room temperature before consumption.
