Very responsive service, it was easy to make a booking with quick appointments and seeing a very professional doctor.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at a clinic that I cannot recommend to anyone. My partner and I were in need of some medical services and we came across this clinic through a quick search online. After emailing them about the services and prices, we were satisfied with the prices and decided to book an appointment. However, when we arrived at the clinic, they increased the prices significantly. They gave us very high costs that were completely different from what was agreed upon in the email. I do not recommend

Went for a mole removal (Note: there is a £249 initial consultation as stated on the website).
There were some other people getting surgery as-well so be prepared to wait before getting the operation done.

Decided to take the same day procedure and so the consultation was waived. It is expensive since you are paying for private. The reason why I rated it 4 stars was because of the transparency of the pricing as what most people have commented about. In order to improve, they should definitely have a solid pricing quote for people via email/phone before coming into the clinic so they can decide whether to come in or not and not waste everyone’s time. Or give the clients time to prepare to save up and budget for this surgery.

(Note: For a mole removal - I would suggest planning to save up between £1,400 - £2,000 or maybe more for more moles. But I have seen from previous reviews, they were able to obtain a much cheaper price removal, under £1,000).

From my personal experience, all the staff members I interacted with from the Doctor, Assistant, Pricing manager and receptionist was positive. They were all accommodating and friendly. The actual procedure was quick and will book for a stitch removal in 7days.

I do highly recommend booking with this clinic (for mole removal). I do suggest researching first around your local area or other parts in the country for better pricing solutions. But you are paying for highly qualified Dcotors/surgeons for the price. Whilst, it does seem like you feel you have spent a lot of money, just think of it as a self - investment.

Only negative thing about this experience was getting charged for a £50 deposit for an appointment over the phone. I’m still confused whether this is a refundable deposit or not as I don’t know why they wanted to get £50 from me. Will catch up with them on this later.

Very rapid, considered and helpful. In and out in an hour (including a procedure) and problem resolved.

All staff at the clinic were kind and professional. They explained the treatment options clearly to me and the treatment was speedy and efficient. They took good care of me. I am happy to recommend the London Dermatology Clinics.

I was worried about a mole that I thought had changed colour so I wanted it to be seen the next day. No where else I had called offered me a next day consultation and I like to get things sorted asap. I called this clinic and the lady on receptionist was so lovely and bubbly which made me feel at ease. I was given an appointment for the following day ( you are made aware of any prices and you cannot expect it to be cheap otherwise don’t go private ) I only waited for 5 minutes upon arrival then went into see Dr Ivo Gwanmesia who was genuinely so lovely and had a calm manner which made me feel so comfortable, I went ahead with the mole shaving removal and honestly I can’t believe how simple and quick it was! He asked if I was ok while administering the anaesthetic and it was completely fine! We were chatting away while it was happening which again just made me feel so comfortable, when it was done I was shocked it was so quick. Honestly do not be scared and I highly recommend this doctor he is amazing

Over £700 for a scar and a newfound fear of doctors! Awful experience! Made to wait for ages, despite being told to be early for the appointment. When I finally got to see my consultant – Dr Charakida – the appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. They were completely apathetic about my condition. I asked for them to take a sample and before I knew it, they were taking a chunk out of me and stitching me up. I had no idea what was actually happening to me until after it was done, and I was rushed through forms and made to sign things without fully understanding what was going on.

This clinic is money grabbing and unsafe. I’m very surprised they haven’t been shut down already. I should have read some of the reviews before I visited as it seems that Dr Charakida has a reputation for being lackadaisical and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs!

What a great experience. Friendly and so skilled. The Dr removed the wee lump on my leg in minutes. It was sad saying farewell to this little friend who appeared on my calf a few months ago. It was emotional. The staff held my hand throughout and we sang songs. It’s now off to a new life in Histology. With any luck it’s not cancer.
The practice was also a grand cheaper than Glasgow. So awesome service. Highly recommend.

Kind and helpful stuff

After receiving a prescription with incorrect dosage and reporting it day after the visit to the clinic i have waitied another week and had to chase it up myslef multiple times. The clinic uses helpline advisors and it is hard to reach them directly with any issues. Over a week after the appointment I have not received requested and paid for documents nor amended prescription, so I have requested partial refund to which I have received a negative response. Paid £30 for a sheet of colorful paper! I dont recommend this clinic and will be continuing to challenge lack of partial refund offer for clear delays in addressing patients already seen when they have issues with advice received but already paid for the service - we seem once it is cashed we do not matter anymore. Dissapointed!

Absolutely rip off and terrible service. I waited half an hour to be seen and paid £249 for a consultation that lasted 4.5 mins. I saw Aikaterini Charakida and told her my skin trouble (eczema) started when I had the contraceptive implant, she wrote down that it started when I had the contraceptive pill, didn’t look at my affected areas and told me I needed to pay £350 for a skin scrape to rule out a fungal infection. I have had skin problems for 5 years that frequently flare up and down due to stress and hormone so was very surprised at this. To be honest, I felt like she didn’t care, she didn’t ask any questions about lifestyle, medical history, diet etc. I was then sent to the clinic manager who informed me on top of the £350 for skin scraping it would be an additional £169 for the results and £30 for the prescription. I would appreciate someone from the clinic to get in touch with me about why I paid £30 for a prescription that I then had to pay £19.40 to receive at Boots. What is the £30 for if they don’t give you the product? Terrible service, rude and not at all caring. Waste of time and money and Aikaterini Charakida is useless.

At the London Dermatology Clinic, I got a Lipoma removed from my chest by Atessa Assim, who provided me with exceptional service and after care.

Brilliant Doctor who pinpointed exactly what my problem was instantly, gave me brilliant ways to combat it and lots of great aftercare - Would recommend

I found the service given by the staff as very informative and helpful. On the day of my hair transplant, everything including the details of the procedure were gone over with me again, and the aftercare was great. I definitely recommend this place for anyone considering a hair transplant. Also the pricing was very affordable especially compared to some other clinics in the area.

Was referred by a gentleman from the King's Cross Clinic, straight forward on the day booking, I managed to get my bloods done on the same day. Lovely historic building and team, and managed to get my blood reports within a few days.
