Great experience with Josephine
I have just bought my first flat and Josephine at London Residential was truly one in a million - she was warm, genuine, transparent and went the extra mile ensuring quick completion, and keeping me informed every step of the way. I was in very good hands and it was like dealing with a friend. Liana who covered Josephine while on holiday equally didn’t miss a beat. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend London Residential's Josephine and Liana - dealing with good people made what could have been a stressful experience a lot easier. Unfortunate to see some bad reviews here, looks like it's on the lettings side, but for me I couldn't fault my experience with the agents I dealt with and would strongly recommend both.

Horrible company.
It's taken me over a year to write this because I was so traumatised by my negative experience with this company while I was studying in London. I dealt with the Camden branch and the flat I rented was not up to par and even violated fire safety regulations. The flat was filthy, filled with bedbugs and previous tenants' belongings (including old pillows and duvets). The kitchen extractor fan wasn't working and the couch, which was extremely old and also had bed bugs in it, was broken. The customer service was by far the worst part of it all, and I had to email the manager in order to get my deposit back because none of the other staff bothered to respond. Unfortunately I was unable to pursue legal action but I hope this review helps. Avoid London Residential.

I am satisfied that London Residential carried out it's obligations to you as a tenant and this issue was subsequently dealt with by our complaints process and acknowledged by your father.

I looked at a flat in Camden with them, the agent told me it was shared with 4 people, so I put down a holding deposit as I was told I'd get it back if my bid was rejected. After that I discovered that it was actually shared with 6 people and when I tried to pull out they wouldn't give me the deposit back. Luckily when I involved legal action they lost the case, but this took months to get back. Make sure you don't make the same mistake as me and avoid them at all costs.

Dear Mr Smith,
This case was February 2018, and I remember you well. As a goodwill gesture, I refunded your holding deposit in June 2018. There wasn't anything "lucky" on our part. This was a matter which was being handled through the appropriate procedure.
I also recall your version of events saying "I was told that the communal kitchen would be shared with 3 people. Later, after I'd made an offer on the property, I was told (by a tenant) that it would be shared with 5 other people."
It appears you are getting your version of events mixed up not for the first time.
I trust you are satisfied with the outcome and have moved on from this experience.
Also thank you for the google review 30+ months after the issue, I hope you give good reviews when you experience good service and are not another Karen.
