Defective product with documented proof they would not replace
My product came defective where only the right side worked. I took a video shortly after I received the item to show the date of first use was around the time I received the item. I received this item as a gift and it took awhile to figure out where they purchased it (gift giver was a boy so you know they had no clue what company it was). I asked him to reach out to get a replacement but he continued to forget and eventually he let me go through his email and do it myself. I sent them a video with the time stamp to show the product was defective upon arrival. They would not replace it because I reached out outside of the warranty period. Their homepage states they will replace any damaged or defective product and to just contact support. Butttt if you click through a bunch of tabs eventually you’ll find they will only honor it within 30 days. Even if you had evidence it was defective from the beginning and you had to also reach out within 7 days of the defect. Which really doesn’t seem reasonable. Some people might not even use the product first time within 7 days of receiving it. And my defect it was actually hard to tell because the light would come on on both sides. But the the tiny vibration wouldn’t and some people might not have picked up on that till a few uses. It seemed fishy all the timelines and their refusal with a clear defect case. Almost like they know their product is not guaranteed and their banking on people not meeting the deadline. They seemed unconcerned with my experience and not flexible when it was a pretty straightforward circumstance. Just warning to check your product as soon as you get it. They don’t always take accountability if they don’t have too. Also please look at the date of the five star reviews. Their all the same date.
