I am a holiday property owner and was with luxury cottages for at least 3/4 years
I terminated my contact with them recently because I discovered they allowed my properties to be advertised on different websites under new names . When I first agreed the terms of our contract they specifically asked me if they could change the names of the properties and I specifically said No . They also marketed the properties with incorrect information , which I was blamed for but for which I had no control , specifically on holidaycottages ,com who changed the names of all 3 of my properties without permission , there was also a lot of incorrect information and details - they even added a hot tub to a property which didn’t have one .
Compared to other sites they are slow to pay out
I would advise other owners to check that their properties are not being marketed under false names and the information is correct .
Name changing is done so that guests cannot find your property on your own website and book direct and on other websites.

Firstly the cottage was exactly as described, newly renovated to a high standard. The location was amazing. A few hundred yards walk to the beach, hotel and brasserie and a Michelin starred restaurant right on the beach ( recommend as awesome). The booking process was seamless and thank goodness as holidaycottages cancelled our original booking with days to go and with little stock to chose from as it was a bank holiday.

Very easy to book and lots of communication about the details of the booking.

New build, excellent quality, wonderful scenery

We stayed here for a week and had the most wonderful time and experience. So clean beautifully decorated.
Both the hosts were so lovely and welcoming

Beautiful location, luxurious property with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax and fantastic beach close by.

We had a nice stay at the cottage in Abersoch, with an easy check in process. We did feel like the inside of the property, particularly the bathroom, shower, rugs and blankets didn’t feel very clean. Everything felt quite used and a little tatty. Generally it was nice enough but wouldn’t describe it as a luxury stay.

I booked a cottage through booking.com which was managed by Luxury Cottages. My review of Rose Walls is on booking.com and it's fair to say it did not live up to expectations. I don't think Luxury Cottages managed my complaint very well and they just seemed to be a postbox for my issues back to their supplier. Emails I sent for them were just passed to their property owner without any real involvement from them. After the holiday I formally complained about the cottage and it took an age to get any sort of response. I finally agreed to a very small level of compensation and feel that Luxury Cottages should have been supporting my case rather than seeming to side with their supplier. It's now more than 3 months since the holiday and I'm having to chase up the compensation having still not received it. The level of service and the cottage itself did not live up to anywhere near what I would consider satisfactory considering the cost of the holiday.

The property we rented was perfect for a large family holiday and everything we needed was provided for .

We had a fabulous time. The house has everything you need and more! The whole family loved it. The local pub and coffee shop are great and we enjoyed walks along the canal. A visit to Lichfield cathedral is also a must! The hosts were easy to communicate with and sorted minor issues swiftly. We’ll definitely be back!

The house is in an excellent location. Conveniently placed for local supermarkets as well as exploring the coastline which is within easy reach by car.
The property has lots of luxury touches such as the hot tub, sauna, beautiful bathrooms and modern appliances. The property was spotlessly clean and recently developed. We very much enjoyed he welcome pack. Thank you.
The garden is a great size and well enclosed which worked well with our dog.
We experienced some early morning noise from the ongoing development which is happening within the site. The builders were pleasant and the noise wasn't too invasive, but not ideal.
The property would really benefit from some comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy good weather. It was also unclear where we were allowed to access in the immediate area.
We had a great time and luxury cottages were very responsive to our queries and the booking process was very easy.

We loved the location of the house and its size.
The tub was well used.
The lake was great for the paddle boarders but, as there had been little rain, it was somewhat green and weedy.
Similarly, the dry ground precluded our use of the outdoor cooking facilities. A pity as their size and location would have been a delight.
We did think a second dish washer wouold have been very useful given that there were 14 of us.
The dining table was perhaps too big - not weasy to pass things from one side to the other!

Very comfortable accommodations and convenient to Muirfield. We really enjoyed our stay.

I found the booking process easy to navigate and received all the information needed in a timely manner to make the holiday a stress free experience.
The location and house were perfect for us as a family of 7 and our dog. The house was amazing, clean, well equipped with gorgeous smelling fluffy towels. Waking up to hear and view the sea from the house was wonderful. The village of Beesands is unspoilt, quiet, friendly and idyllic. The dog friendly pub is a 5 minute walk serving delicious food and very welcoming. The take away hut is also a few minutes walk away also serving a large range of delicious food. There are many walks nearby (some quite challenging), the beach is dog friendly, we saw dolphins swimming in the sea whilst at Saltpoint, sat on the beach watching mackerel jumping about and Sinbad the seal made a visit. We were very fortunate to have glorious sunny days the whole week. We would definitely return.

Really friendly, helpful, responsive staff and their houses are fantastic — or ours was at least!

Booking the cottage was easy and communications good. Any questions were answered promptly.
