My 90 year old mother stayed at this home for one week before I decided to remove her. Promises made by the director were broken in less than 24 hours. The facility refused to use an chair alarm which caused my mother to fall multiple times. My mother was also left on the toilet by herself which caused her to fall. Significant bruising occurred on my Mom’s hip and buttocks. The care provided by this home was poor. The director was extremely difficult to work with.

When I arrived for my tour of LiveWell Cary and LiveWell Durham, I was very impressed with how they had modified these properties to allow for elders to easily move throughout each home. I was recommended to LiveWell by a family who had already had a great experience, so I already had a pretty clear sense of what to expect. The staff was very attentive to me and my mother while we were there, making sure that we were introduced to residents and family members who were there visiting. We have made our decision to make a move to LiveWell, and are so grateful we’re getting our mother out of the nursing home assisted living she is currently residing in!
