Good friendly service.
Timeline showing progress of sale at each stage was good in principle, but not always kept up to date in practice.
Enquiry tracker showing enquiries, responses and status of each enquiry was good in principle, but we were not kept up to date after initial entries.
Communication could have been better, particularly as we neared exchange and completion. Regular updates explaining why we hadn't yet exchanged would have been appreciated.

The team at Lyons Bowe have been extremely proactive and super efficient. The communication has been so easy, both being able to contact people on the phone and receiving quick responses via email. The app used is really user friendly and reassuring to get regular updates on the progress of my case. I’d definitely recommend Lyons Bowe.

hello, I found communication was poor- i only got any updates when i requested them so i was charged each time. I wasn't told about significant delays. Without me chasing i wouldn't have known. I accepted Lyons Bowe solicitors on the condition i was given updates and that was to be included in the price but this didn't happen. I don't feel they were advising me and looking after my interests. Rather they wanted me to tell them what was needed. So only use them if you know exactly what you want in the paperwork.

All staff responded quickly to any questions I asked. They were very friendly and helpful throughout. A special mention to Jennifer and Delanie at the Bristol branch who were superb.

So far my experience with Lyons Bowe has been great. Macy has kept me informed at all stages and nothing has been too scary (first time purchasing a property on my own and rather out of my comfort zone!). I really hope the excellent service continues throughout the rest of my journey with the firm 😊

My experience with Lyons Bowe so far has been excellent. Jayne made the onboarding process seamless, Prerana handled the legal work efficiently and professionally, and Isharani has been managing both the sale and purchase conveyancing with exceptional care. Communication throughout has been outstanding via phone, email, and the app, keeping me informed every step of the way. The whole team have worked efficiently, competently, and with genuinely outstanding client care and support. I would highly recommend Lyons Bowe.

Amazing experience, from very start all team was very friendly and helpful explaining what happen next. Very skilled and professional, I would recommended to everyone.

Connie Seymour is fantastic support whilst supporting my house sale and purchase. Highly recommend!!!!

We have just used Lyons Bowe for our sale and purchase of a new property. They have been fantastic to deal with, their app makes the process so much easier to follow and the communication was brilliant. Thank you for making a tough process easy to manage. Would highly recommend. Thank you Geraldine & Finn.

I am currently using Lyons Bowe for my property purchase. I have been dealing with Holly Inglis who has been brilliant. She is extremely helpful and always responds to requests quickly. I thoroughly recommend Lyon Bowe.

Katarina has managed both our sale and purchase, and we couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. She was professional throughout the entire process and always had our best interests in the forefront of her mind. She was highly responsive, extremely helpful, and kept everything moving smoothly from start to finish. We are very grateful for her support and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

We both had a fantastic experience with Lyons Bowe Solicitors and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and kept us updated throughout the whole process, which made everything feel much less stressful.

Any questions we had were answered quickly, and we always felt like we were in good hands. The team made what could have been a complicated process feel straightforward and manageable and so quick!

A* communication and execution. Knew what was happening every step of the way. Eleanor was great!

I just wanted to say what an amazing company and would highly recommend. They are professional but have a very personal attitude to their clients. I have had a smooth journey, thank you team.

The team at Lyon’s Bowe have been fantastic during our sale and purchase. We were kept updated every step of the way and communication was seamless. We can’t recommend them enough.

Throughout, I felt listened to, supported and guided brilliantly. What I was most impressed with was the calm and professional approach which was greatly appreciated. A fantastic experience and I would happily recommend to anyone.

We can’t emphasize enough to find someone else
We recently had a really frustrating experience with Lyon's Bowe Solicitors in Shepton Mallet. Trying to get a simple query resolved felt like navigating a maze – passed from person to person, each seemingly less informed than the last. The lack of clear communication was a major issue; we constantly had to chase them for updates, and it felt like pulling teeth to get any information. On top of that, they often left us in the dark when it came to dealing with the management company and the seller's solicitors, causing unnecessary worry and stress. Even on the day we were supposed to exchange, they suddenly needed another document and then went silent, leaving us in the dark all day. To make matters worse, the advice we did receive often seemed vague and not tailored to our specific situation, making us question their expertise. Honestly, we expected a much higher level of professionalism, clear guidance, and efficiency, especially considering this process has dragged on for over 9 months, even with no onward chain. And to top it off, they kept adding significant charges onto the bill, which felt completely unjustified. Seriously, if you need solicitors, We can't emphasize enough that you should find someone else.

Lyons Bowe in Shepton Mallet did our conveyancing on our recent house sale and we found Shanice and Senaya unfailingly helpful.

Absolutely amazing experience using Lyons Bowe Solicitors. From start to finish they have been friendly, helpful and very efficient! Cannot fault them! Big thank you to Finn Erasmus for helping us through the legal side of our house sale and property purchase! Appretiate all your hard work! Thank you :)

I am currently in the process of purchasing a property and chose Lyons Bowe after reading their positive reviews. So far, I am very pleased with that decision.

At the beginning, I was a little impatient during the AML checks, as we were asked to provide additional proof and documentation. However, I later understood that these checks are an important part of the process and are there for good reason.

What I particularly appreciate is their team-based approach. When one staff member is unavailable, another team member is able to step in and assist. Madison has been especially helpful and has always been quick to respond to our queries and requests.

I also like the regular updates through the app and email, which help keep us informed throughout the process.

We have now reached the legal stage of our purchase, and our experience so far has been very positive. I am hopeful that this excellent service will continue and look forward to completing our home-buying journey with Lyons Bowe.

Thank you to Madison and the team for all your help so far.
