Avoid!!!
Avoid.
This involved a 2020 BMW M2 Competition with just 19,000 miles, advertised for around £36,000. At that price point, and with such low mileage, I expected a vehicle that had been thoroughly inspected and professionally prepared before collection.
I paid a £500 deposit and waited over two weeks for the car to be "prepped" and MOT'd. I was repeatedly assured that it had been thoroughly checked and was ready for collection. Before travelling from Preston, I specifically questioned the MOT advisory for an oil leak and was told it was nothing more than old residual oil on the undertray, that it was not an active leak, and that further checks had confirmed everything was fine.
After a nearly 7-hour round trip and taking a day off work, I arrived to find a misaligned front bumper and damage to the front lip. Following a short test drive, the engine bay started pouring out heavy white smoke. I looked underneath the car and found oil actively leaking onto the ground.
A fault of this nature should have been obvious during even the most basic inspection and test drive. For a £36,000 performance car, this level of preparation is simply unacceptable. Either the vehicle wasn't properly checked before I was told to collect it, or the assurances I was given about its condition were plainly inaccurate.
The result was a completely wasted journey, unnecessary expense, a lost working day, and a huge amount of wasted time.
To make matters worse, even after all of this, I'm now being ignored regarding my request for the return of my £500 deposit. There appears to be no urgency whatsoever in resolving the situation or putting things right.
This experience has completely destroyed my confidence in both the vehicle and the dealership. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from here to carry out extremely thorough checks and not rely solely on verbal assurances.
