We had a fantastic time.
Working with Yasmin to craft a luxury vacation in Norway and Sweden was a delight. She was tasked to plan a trip around an already booked hiking vacation with a separate company ( Backroads) She was patient, thorough, and answered all our questions definitively. She took our ideas and elevated them using her expertise and local contacts. The execution was flawless.
We are seasoned international travelers and she exceeded our expectations!

All of the connections were smooth, hotels amazing, and the hired guides were great.
Both the food and the service at the Sommero hotel (Oslo) and Hotel Diplomat (Stockholm) were top notch.
She also took care of all internal transportation (scenic train ride and flights) for us.

We returned home just two days ago and have already asked her her help us with a Northern lights trip in the future.

Laura from Magnetic North put together a wonderful itinerary for our trip to Copenhagen and Norway. All our flights, transfers and tours/activities went smoothly. We would definitely use Laura for future travels.

We just finished an amazing three week visit to Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The trip was made special by the great planning of Magnetic North Travel. The team there put together a trip that we loved. We had incredible new experiences and saw beautiful sights. Especially wonderful was the visit to Svalbard and the time we spent on a private yacht in the Norwegian fjords. All the hotels they suggested for us were perfect and each guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

We booked a 12 day trip to Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden and Denmark) using Magnetic North as our tour company. Yasmin Herbert was our contact person and I was in frequent contact with her to finalize the details of our trip.
Both Yasmin and the team at Magnetic North did an outstanding job that exceeded our expectations. They booked our hotels, excursions, fjord cruise, airport and hotel pickups and drop offs, and made the necessary changes when there were flight disruptions. Every excursion and pickup/drop off was punctual and went off without a hitch.
A special mention about some of the excursions that we went on:
The Sunset Cruise out of Oslo (with Captain Are) is something you should splurge on as it's worth every penny (or kroner!)
The restaurants in Bergen : I highly recommend the Bryggeloftet and the Enhjorningen (Norwegian for Unicorn!)
The funicular is a must see in Bergen. Fortunately, we had good weather in Bergen, where it rains most days
The Havila cruise on the Norwegian fjords on a battery powered cruise ship was a first for us on this type of cruise ship. It was silent and smooth as glass! The food, the views of the fjords and the excursions were outstanding.
The Lydmar Hotel in Stockholm was superb, with large rooms overlooking the Baltic sea. I am an ABBA fan, and my trip would not be complete without a visit to the ABBA museum! The VASA museum is also a must see.
The 71 NYHAVN hotel is situated right on the bustling Nyhavn harbor area. Copenhagen is a lovely walkable city.
Our experience would not have been possible without the expert planning and advice of Yasmin and the whole team at Magnetic North.

Easy to work with. Fantastic holiday! Two weeks driving the ring road in Iceland, four days in Stockholm, then four more in Copenhagen. 10 hotels, tours, car, mineral baths. All flawlessly planned. They were so helpful and communicated throughout the trip.

Excellent Itinerary and some fun experiences made our trip to Greenland a wonderful experience. Greenland is an adventure!

Laura organised a complicated 3 week holiday for us in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland involving flights, ferries, car hire, boutique B&Bs and restaurant bookings. Everything they organised for us worked flawlessly and we had a fantastic holiday. The Magnetic North App is fantastic too and we used it every day to keep track of our itinerary. We can't recommend them highly enough!

Annie Fredvang of Magnetic North Travel was an amazing travel agent who arranged the perfect trip to Norway for us. She listened carefully and applied her expert knowledge to carefully arrange exactly what we had hoped for. From excellent hotel selections to amazing private tour guides and drivers, her selections and arrangements were top-notch.
Before the trip, she carefully and pleasantly answered all our questions about culture and tipping. On the couple of occasions when we needed minor adjustments or missed the information she had provided, she was quick to make changes or provide the information again without complaint. I would highly recommend Annie to anyone seeking to arrange a trip to Norway.

Yasmin went above and beyond my expectations. It was the first time I seeked assistance in planning a trip and was pleasantly surprised.

Everything was booked and there were no mistakes

Laura Greenman did a fantastic job planning and coordinating our trip to Iceland. She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip—even while on vacation with her own family! Everything was arranged for us, and the entire trip went smoothly.

We had several tours arranged, and each was better than the last. The highlights included the Midgard Superjeep tour, which took us into seldom-seen areas of the Highlands. Our guide, Markus, was knowledgeable and easygoing, making it a fantastic first day in Iceland.

Next, we visited the Westman Islands. Our ferry tickets were all taken care of, and we had a wonderful tour with Eyjatours. The guide, Ebee is quite a character and kept us entertained. The island’s history came to life, and of course, the puffins stole the show!

The zodiac tour of Glacier Lagoon was unbelievable. We’ve seen many glaciers and icebergs, but this was another dimension. The scenery was spectacular, and the tour company and guides were top-notch.

The Ingólfshöfði Puffin Tour at Hofn Farm was the icing on the cake. Really an incredible experience. However you should note that you are driven in a tractor pulled wooden wagon with no seating across a black sand plain for 20-30 minutes. We drove through a sandstorm so if you have cameras I strongly suggest you have them in protective covering. Once at the destination it is a strenuous climb up a large sand dune, not that easy for my 72 yr old body. If you have mobility issues I would rate this as a difficult and strenuous hike. Fortunately we were provided with walking sticks. However once on top, the winds died diwn and the ground was firm not sandy. And of course the puffins are everywhere. Thousands of them so close. Although I had difficulty with the journey it was well worth it. The puffin viewing was extraordinary. Being so close to thousands of puffins was truly unforgettable.

Our hotels were, for the most part, top-notch—comfortable, clean, and in most cases luxurious. Everything was nearly perfect except for the weather! But we were prepared and continued sightseeing despite temperatures around 50 degrees, clouds, and rain.

We even received an alert about bad weather and rough seas for our whale-watching tour. Based on the conditions, we decided to cancel, and amazingly, we received a full refund. That kind of flexibility and customer service was greatly appreciated.

Overall, we had a wonderful Iceland experience, and I would highly recommend Magnetic North and, especially, Laura Greenman for planning an unforgettable Iceland adventure!

Yasmin and the Magnetic North team have truly exceeded our expectations with putting together a customized itinerary for our trip to Iceland. From arranging accomodations, rental car, and excursions we were supported 100% of the way. All of our questions were answered very quickly and professionally. A really well organised holiday, with every detail taken care of by Magnetic North. Finland is a beautiful country and perfect for a cycling holiday. We had a wonderful week and would highly recommend it for those with moderate fitness. We found it challenging but great fun. Received immediate advice during the holiday when we needed it.

Everything we described to our MN trip Lanner happened! I wanted to see puffins and we went on an amazing trip to the top of a cliff to see 100's of them and at another location 100's were there and we were able to watch them fly and float on the water. Both amazing experiences. Hotels were the quality we asked for and the service top notch. During the planning phase and prior to departure, our trip planner, Laura, was easily accessible and responsive. Definitely knowledgeable about the Faroe Islands and Iceland. Itinerary was perfect.

Great topography and scenery. We did some great hikes. We had enough free time to do what we wanted to, but also some nice scheduled events. The hotels were very good but Hotel Kria could use a makeover.
