I am a US-based business owner and I'm writing this review specifically to protect other American and international clients from the same financial loss I experienced with Makeolix Consulting.

I hired Makeolix for website development services and paid $1,000 USD upfront. They are a company operating out of India that actively markets its services to US-based clientele — which in itself creates a major legal problem if things go wrong, as I discovered.
Here is exactly what happened:
After the payment was made, the professionalism disappeared overnight. Scheduled meetings were skipped without notice. Emails went unanswered for days, then weeks. When I attempted to follow up by phone, they blocked my number entirely. No website was ever built. No partial work was shared. No refund was offered. They simply took the money and cut off all contact.

What makes this especially dangerous for US business owners is this: if you give any agency like this access to your website, Google Search Console, or ad accounts — even briefly — they can cause serious damage to your domain's SEO rankings and your business's online reputation that takes months or years to recover from. I was fortunate not to hand over full access, but many businesses do.

Key warning signs I ignored that you should not:
1.No legally binding contract enforceable in the US
2.Requested full upfront payment
3.Communication became vague after payment
4.No verifiable physical address or registered US business entity

If you are a US business owner — do not hire this company. There is virtually no legal recourse when a company based in India takes your money and ghosts you. US consumer protection laws and FTC complaints have very limited reach internationally.
I have been scammed and I urge anyone who has had a similar experience to do the same at. Leave your reviews everywhere so other business owners can protect themselves.

Worst company . Scammer . Don’t fall for fake promises .

I received multiple calls claiming my site was ranked low on Google and other search engines and they could help. Firstly, cold calling a small business does not generate good feelings, and secondly, fwiw the site ranks great. Eventually, I was asked to take a meeting and agreed. The meeting was uncompelling and when I checked the information presented, I found out I was lied to. I sent a reasonably polite email message explaining that I was not interested, and why. In a follow-up call, I addressed the concerns, and when confronted with an obvious lie, the lies increased. Lying blatantly to customers before you even begin is not how one grows a consulting business. I strongly recommend avoiding this company. I also recommend checking their positive reviews for signs of authenticity. I mean, people who lie, well, they lie.

I would highly recommend to stay away from this marketing agency.
Management is not trustworthy.
They change their policies as per convenience.
They are incapable of paying their employees.

Claim they can drive success
Claim they can drive search engine optimization!

Yet they have to spam as they can not even drive their own success.

And they are clearly ashamed of it as they hide who they are in their spam.

When asked why this does not prove they are useless they have no reply!

Use a company that can rather than one that needs to spam!

Seems I get these types of scammers everyday. They have "someone" email me from a gmail account stating the following: "I was just exploring Google.com and found that your website is performing weak in front of your competitors and not optimized for most issues. I have analysed your website & prepared a report, if you give me your permission, I will share it with you."

I then reply, ok send the report. Now, a totally different person with a makeolix.com email address contacts me asking me for my website so they can do a report. I told this new person that the first person who emailed me said they had done a report for my website and I told them to send me this report. I told this second person to talk to the first person to get my website address since they did a fully report. Anyway, they will not send this report. They then claim they "can't find my website and for me to tell the URL". This is clearly a scam operation, they email you a baited email, if you reply, then they ask you for your website so then they can actually do the review and now have your information to harass you and sell your information to others.

Clearly, this Makeolix Consulting company is a scam operation.

This pattern is typical of 99.9999% of all companies coming from the Far East. They use fake email address and lies in those emails to bait you, then make up stories after that just to get your business and personal information. Very sad!!

I would never do business with this company.
