Always have sourced our girls from Mantel Farm as the service is excellent and chickens are in good health.

The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and I always get my hens and ducks from here. I could come out with way more than I need as all their poultry are beautiful! As soon as my husband agrees I'll be back for more!

I've kept chickens for more than 26 years, they are family, and I can say without doubt these are probably the healthiest chickens you could possibly hope to find. Their friendliness and energy tells of good husbandry by Mantel Farm. My 'point of lay' chickens are laying from the moment they arrived,( in fact one laid an egg on the journey),

Excellent service and beautiful chickens. The staff could not have been more helpful and even stayed open for us when we were badly held up in traffic. We brought home a clearly very happy and healthy white sussex who has settled into our little flock very well.

The staff are incredibly helpful and the chickens are kept so well, it is a pleasure to visit.

Unfortunately, a fox moved into the neighbourhood and took one of my precious girls. I decided it wasn't safe to have the chickens anymore and we were, fortunately, able to give our last chicken, Alice, back to Mantal Farm. We are so grateful to them for taking Alice back because she was from Mantal Farm and she did settle very quickly.

I am very fond of everyone who works at Mantal Farm. They really care about the welfare of chickens and they were so accommodating and very understanding about why I wanted to give Alice to them. Their products are absolutely excellent and so is their knowledge. I can't recommend them highly enough. If it has anything to do with chickens, then the only place to go is Mantal Farm. They do deliver and they are always punctual and send one of their friendly staff - who don't mind if you pepper them with questions or concerns you have about your chickens. All in all, a wonderful service, with wonderful people.

Once again a lovely friendly efficient service. We purchased some more pekin chickens. Due to the easing of covid restrictions the shop was open once again and we were able to see all chickens currently for sale. As in previous purchases the chickens were extremely healthy and very well cared for. Staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Would not shop elsewhere for our Pekins. Excellent service

bought my first flock of chickens from Mantel Farm and have been going back ever since. They are local to me and deliver, which is great for me as I don't have transport.

The owners were so friendly and helpful answering all our questions and the place was in immaculate condition. They really do care about their animals and their customers, really impressed!

The collection of my hens waswell organised and very quick. the hens were kept in perfect indoor conditions. Beautiful hens which I was assured were already laying. I wasn't disappointed. Hens collected on Friday and eggs from both hens the following day. Perfect. Thank you
