Coach Martins is the best tennis coach around! He is patient, engaging and knowledgeable about what it takes to be a skillful tennis player!

Coach Michael is fantastic at what he does! My daughter learned tennis with him all through her high school years and made it to the Clements varsity team. My son joined his tennis classes 5 years ago and has made it to the Clements JV his first year. Coach Michael pays close attention to the skills they are developing and the skills that they need to make them better tennis players and works with them closely on these skills. His tennis program is exceptional and unmatched. He offers lessons as well as creates a community for the kids to learn from and play with each other, as a result you come away not just attending a 30 minute class but also a minimum of 2 hours to play besides the lesson. This offers the kids a good amount of time to practice while easily finding friends/game partners to play with. What I like most about coach Michael is his candor, he tells it like it is, has high standards and "coaches" the kids encouraging them to do their best. it takes a special person to be a coach and that is Coach Michael!

Coach Michael keeps the kids laughing and having fun while also providing excellent teaching of fundamental tennis. These kids will be prepared for tennis and life.

Excellent knowledge, skill, and ability to coach and develop talent. Not only was I able to vastly improve my tennis ability, but I also learned about hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and discipline...attributes that helped me in tennis, but more importantly, in my life outside tennis. Would recommend Coach Martins to everyone!

Coach Michael has been a great coach for our young kids. He is positive and motivating. Our boys have really enjoyed it and certainly have made huge strides, especially since they started from scratch.

My seven year old has been taking lessons with Coach Michael for a year. It was been a wonderful experience for my son. Coach Michael’s teaching style is fun and encouraging, while delivering excellent instruction. My son has made huge leaps in skill in one year. I highly recommend Coach Michael.

coach michael is awesome! he was my coach all through high school and he really creates an environment that truly simulates how an actual tournament environment is. As a student, I was exposed to many USTA tournament opportunities and it’s also a lot of fun!

My kids, ages 13 and 9, have been taking classes from Coach Michael for close to 3 years now. He is a great coach and has a fun personality. He is firm when he needs to be and is great at identifying which areas my kids need to improve on. My kids have learned a lot and his coaching was instrumental in helping my daughter get on the tennis team at her school. I would highly recommend Coach Michael!

Positive approach to improving performance! My son’s game has seen great improvement with Coach Michael. He brings out the best in his students, in both their tennis skills and attitude. We could go to a coach much closer to home, but we drive 45 minutes to attend camp and lessons with Coach Michael . For us it is definitely worth the trip!

I would love to say my child have the best tennis coach I ever able to find . Coach Micheal is a great coach for beginners to all the way to great players. He is very patient, also have great skills , that really make the kids to confident and love tennis.
My child started with coach Micheal 2 1/2 years ago. After that she won many tournaments and became champion many times. It’s not only with her talent, it’s with her talent and Coach Micheal’s great coaching.

I see so many kids playing with him , even he is doing one to one training , he has the real skill in observe all kids and remind exactly what the mistakes are, and he never forget to praise kids what they are doing right.

He shows the same standards for all...excellent communication, an expectation of commitment from his students, total encouragement and just the right amount of push to get each ones best efforts. He focuses on kids strengths, which is encouraging, but also adds in skill building exercises and drills. If you / your kids want to improve your tennis, and get fitter, you won't find better value or better coaching in Houstion area.

Coach Michael has been a pillar behind my daughter’s performance in tennis for the past six years we have known him. Apart from group practice, he would make sure he practice with them one on one basis. He is very articulate, punctual, and show them respect and honest to opponent while playing

Coach Michael is excellent for teaching the proper technique to children and beginner adults. Because I learned to right technique from the start with Michael I have the ability to grow and develop as a tennis player beyond what would be possible if I had not started with the right foundation. His calm and patient manner made me feel comfortable learning something completely new. He is also excellent at engaging with children and encouraging them to enjoy competing and have fun while learning technique. My husband is a former tennis professional, so we know great coaching! Our son started lessons with Coach Michael last summer . Prior to meeting Coach Michael , we spoke to several coaches and they all said our son was too small, wait until he is 4 or 5 at least. Coach Michael said, bring him out. Let me see! He put the racket in his hand, first try he hit it over the net !. His progress has blown us away. I love how he integrates STEM lessons into his teaching and the time and care that invests in our son. Micah at age four has developed a love and passion for the game and great admiration for his Coach. Martins Fort Bend Tennis is the only place to learn and play. Coach Michael’s approach is phenomenal! Since playing with coach Micah’s confidence level is through the roof! We are so grateful that Micah has been able to learn from him. Coach Martin has been coaching Ava for 4 years. His demeanor and personality are perfect for children and young adults. Coach Martin has worked with Ava on her strokes, serves and her attitude !!! We are lucky to have found such a gem of a coach !

Michael is an amazing coach. He coached me from the age of 7-18. He is the person you want to go to if you want your child truly love tennis and to have a correct form in their swing. He teaches with a passion, genuinely cares about how his students do outside of his lessons. He takes the time to push them to go play tournaments, and he’ll be there to watch each of their matches.
