My experience with Marvelus Travel has been a scam.

I booked a service with them for July 20. On July 13, due to an unforeseen situation that forced me to leave the country that same day, I sent them an email notifying them of my situation and requesting a change to my ticket. However, they are now charging me for the full service, claiming I didn't cancel or show up, ignoring my prior communication and refusing to resolve the issue.

This company has a history of bad practices: last-minute cancellations, lack of communication, and wrongful charges . They are simply a "reseller" selling other operators' services without taking responsibility .

Do not book with Marvelus Travel. Contact local operators directly and avoid being scammed.

Me vendieron un boleto con una empresa que cobra como la mitad de lo que me cobraron ellos, nunca me enviaron el boleto tuve que ir a buscar por toda la terminal porque al parecer ellos son terciarios ni siquiera me informaron el nombre de la empresa que me llevaría, el bus que ofrecían en la página de compra no era ni remotamente parecido al bus en el que viaje, era horrible!!!, en fin nunca jamás volvería a comprar un tiquete de San pedro sula hacia Guatemala con ellos.

Booked a bus ticket from Rivas to San Jose, was promised an email with my ticket, none arrived. I was then emailed the day before the bus is due to leave stating the bus will now leave at 9:30am as opposed to 8:30am. I had no problem with that and emailed back stating this, another email appeared showing that my order was cancelled. We went to the meeting place for the bus and thankfully managed to buy a ticket there, communication is shocking and no apology for cancelling last minute. Total waste of time and nearly cost us a fortune with onward bookings. Avoid.

They have not provided me with the ticket that I bought. It's impossible to contact them when you need to. 14 days they had to sort this out between when I paid and my journey was taking place. It wasn't last minute purchase. Avoid them at all cost.

Never use this company. Lies lies and more lies. Direct bus booked from Flores to Belize. Told to change buses at border then two hour delay while the new bus waited for more people to arrive from other buses. Local operator denies any responsibility and says talk to Marvelus and just laughed “oh you shouldn’t have booked through them”.

Wanted to book a shuttle service from San Juan del sur in Nicaragua to Liberia Airport in Costa RIca. This was the first option on a Google search. I entered in the information about pick up and drop off points and paid for 3 tickets.
I soon got a reply saying thank you for your booking and a note in BOLD saying that we cannot drop you at the airport and you will be dropped at Liberia bus station. I was also told the first part of the journey would be a taxi and the second part a public bus! This is not a proper shuttle service!
When I cancelled I was refunded only 75% of the money due to administrative fees etc. Please don't make the same mistake. False advertising used here

I paid for this service and after the fact told me the time I paid for wasn’t available, and then they would not refund me.

Okay, you can organize everything by your own. Then haven’t done much.

Perfect drive but the booking is unfortunately not good, you don't get a Confirmation for the Booking, you have to write them or call them to make it sure

The date in which I booked wasn’t available. I got refunded really fast and easy. Keep up the good work.

They looked after me very well as I don't speak much Spanish the border crossing was an extreme long process but the Bus Process was bang on

Really professional service. They picked me up on time and the drivers were helpful and polite. As a woman travelling by herself I felt safe the whole time.

I had a good experience with this agency. They were on time picking me up from the airport. The guy had a sign with my name on it so I was able to find him easily. Unfortunately I had to wait an hour in Antigua, but overall everything was good. Both of my drivers were polite. I recommend them and will definitely use them again.

I was extremely satisfied with Marvulos Shuttle Service from Belize City to Flores. Even though I missed the day's shuttle time, Marvulos went the extra mile to find another shuttle for me. Marvulos also stayed in communication during my entire journey to confirm my safe travel.

On time, safe driver, great price. Will definitely recommend
