I purchased a Win 11 Pro upgrade from Win Home. After installation I couldn’t activate the software. After speaking with Microsoft Tech Support, I learned that the license was a foreign edition and couldn’t be activated in the US. To make matters worse, it was already used to activate Win by someone who clearly didn’t live in the US.
Had the cheek to contact me again
Had the cheek to contact me again from another "manager" Jack Wood, don't know who the last "manager" was, but Krewe Chambers was mentioned in the emails as the payroll manager.
I have reached out to Mashable and if they pay their invoices, I will update my reviews, if not,, the 1 star stands (I'd give no stars if I could).
Software sales site that SPAMS
I bought and paid for some legitimate software, iScanner from Mashable and ever since, I have been bombarded with SPAM emails. Most recently, 4 identical email delivered overnight. This is the worst type of software reseller, dressing up a SPAMMER as a software sales site. Best advice, is ignore them, if not, use a disposable email address. Better still, buy your software elsewhere.
Product not as ordered.
Ordered a used Macbook Air stated to be Grade A Refurbished, meaning it should be free of dents with possibly light scratches. It states exactly such on the website. It arrived with 3 obvious dents, not appearing to be obtained during transit. It was also not the color I ordered. There is no phone number to reach the company, so I messaged them. The color I ordered was out of stock so they just sent me whatever. They could only offer a refund. I would not trust any products from this company.
Unpaid invoice – No response
I provided advertising services for this company (banner displayed on my website for two months). The invoice was sent... but never paid. Server problems, data loss—always an excuse for not paying, even if you send all the information again. And then suddenly, total silence regarding payment. Lack of seriousness, lack of professionalism. Avoid if you are looking for a reliable partner.

Mashable is mostly specious speculation, eg, bullshit
I had the audacity to use Mashable
I had the audacity to use Mashable, which I don't know why I did. I trusted the company when I converted all my data and information from Android to Mac, everything just became a mess and they did not help at all. The only thing that they did right was contact me in a relative time upon requests.

Isn't America tiring of heavily slanted, opinions-rather-than-news? I know I am.
Mashable is nearing satirical status, rivaling Babylon Bee / Onion / Mad Magazine without intending to.
I'll skip FYI and anything Mashable from this day forward. Good Riddance.
The activation code works one time
Be aware if you buy from them an app an activation code works one time! If you want to re-install the app or you buy a new computer and wanna use the app on it you won't be able to do it! I wasted 80$ buying an app from the shop. After I had re-installed OS I couldn't activate the app.
Selling fake Win11 Pro licenses
Selling fake Win11 Pro licenses! Got the key, it did not work, went through the support to solve it - they wanted me to call Microsoft - which would be cross border call which would cost more than the license bought on MSFT site. Asked for another solution - 3 times they give me another keys (out of which 2 times the same one) and none worked!
Mixed mashed bag
Mashable offers a mix of tech, entertainment, and culture content, but its quality can be hit-or-miss. While some articles are engaging and informative, others feel surface-level or overly sensationalized.
Used Twice in One Month
I’m blocking Mashable. I have a high IQ but I’m not handsome. Maybe the hate ugly people? But I no longer trust them. I feel they align themselves with evil companies whom only take one’s money. Are the evil themselves? Not sure. You decide. But they very much ‘ssuucckk!’
Mashable Doesn't Stand Behind Their Product
The MacBook Pro is junk. After a few months it started to overheat and shut off every few weeks. I sent it in twice to CPS to be repaired (I purchased the warranty with it). I requested a refund or a replacement, but Mashable doesn't stand behind a product after 30 days. They thought a $50 credit on my account would make it all better! One year later and it's now overheating nearly every day. Battery lasts about an hour. I would advise against anyone buying a refurbished computer from Mashable. I traded it in for a new one.
Sleazy and unscrupulous
This site pushes highly sexualized ads that amount to soft porn, I looked them up in Trustpilot in order to complain about them and found a large number of other people had complaints about them as well.

Bought a wireless battery phone charger and it stopped working after 7 weeks. As it is out of 30 days they can’t do anything. Just wasted my time and money. Worst quality of products and services.

I am not a tech person so that says a lot.
Mashable did great by me.
Switched to a MAC from a PC.
None of my Microsoft documents were converting.
Apple wanted to have me subscribe to an annual/expensive ongoing Microsoft plan.
All I needed was a one-time program to convert my prior PC documents.
I was confused with the many options. Customer serviced assisted me.
I spent $79 to get exactly what I needed, a one-time download. Easy to install and quick.
Was able to skip the $240 annual subscription that Apple was suggesting.

Mashable Articles Are Simply Ads
If it looks too good to be true, it probably isn’t worth your time…
It is likely you’ve arrived here because you believe Mashable has scammed you.
For the most part, Mashable simply produces self-serving ads presented deceptively, as legitimate articles, which in many cases, turnout be problematic, scandalous infomercials for many consumers.
Under Ziff Davis, Mashable has become downright deceptive, no longer serving as a legitimate news organization; a great way to destroy a once thriving media model.
Abusing AppleNews readers, as well as others, by posing as a Trojan Horse, I too have unfollowed. Other’s have done so similarly, whom, by the way, rarely report their own misgivings, so seriously consider Mashables darker side; unresponsive customer support, erroneous charges, charged for free shipping, discount not applied, items which never arrive, items aren’t as described, presented as refurbished, but
don’t function upon arrival, no warranty, no means for return / refund…
Rid yourself of such carpetbaggery and simply unfollow (thumbing down will not stop their infomercials from reappearing on AppleNews, you must “unfollow” via the sidebar list).
- IMO
I ordered an inexpensive drone
I ordered an inexpensive drone. 6 weeks later, no drone has come. Turns out to be a very expensive drone when you get nothing.
