Mastin Labs has an amazing product. I love the ease to use as well as the overall product it produces. The quiz in the set up also allows for not just what your style might be (I literally had never thought about it) but possibly what you -want- your style to be. These presets has changed my life and my editing workflow completely. With just 3 simple steps my images are transformed into amazing images.My editing is so much quicker! Mastin Labs has truly changed my life, this is what I have been wanting for My look and could just never get the look. I just don't know how I only came across Mastin Labs now. It's really a life changer and a must have for any photographer

When it comes to film emulations I believe Mastin Labs absolutely nails it! The emulations give gorgeous and vibrant colors which look both natural and stunning. As Kirk says "Film never goes out of style." and I totally agree with him. Mastin Labs recommends a three step edit for the presets which makes the workflow simplistic and allows for superb results. I currently own all of the packages and I have to say they are all stunning. My go to presets (besides Ekart100) is Gold 200 and C200. These are great for family shoots! Mastin offers a video demo which I recommend watching to see which package fits you best. Also, being apart of Mastin Labs community on Facebook has been such a great and positive experience! If you have a photo you'd like to see edited with a specific film I'd recommend to post it on the community page and there will be at least a dozen members willing to edit your photo with the desired preset you'd wish to see! Overall, if you are looking for a film emulation that actually works, go to Mastin Labs and get a package that suits your style. You will absolutely not regret it!

I recently purchased Mastin Labs Portra Pushed and it’s an honest game changer. I pride myself in editing in a somewhat muted way without getting muddy edits, but after comparing my old edits on the same raw images to new edits with Mastin I honestly couldn’t believe how muddy and orange my old photos were. Everything I see in the Mastin Facebook group is consistently impressive too so mastin is obviously doing something right. Obviously you still need to know how to edit (and shoot) but these presets are solid to help give your images that matte finish without destroying the actual color. I also must say I really appreciate that with these presets you edit the overall color, but they then have separate presets included for shadows and highlights and for lens corrections, vs the “one size fits all” that other presets have.

I usually shoot in low light conditions, mainly stage photography. And the bold style presets tend to exaggerate the contrast and completely mess with the shadows. Fuji Everyday is the first preset that handles the skin and shadows well and delivers a strong and bold look at the same time. Well done!

Mastin Labs has always had a reputation for being the best presets for hybrid film/digital photographers. I finally jumped and bought the Kodak Portra pack to edit an outdoor family session I did. These are super easy to use, click on the preset, tweak exposure and white balance to taste and done. My editing time is cut in half allowing me to deliver faster and spend more time behind the camera. I highly recommend any of these packs for Lightroom or Capture 1

Mastin Labs really does match film!
I'm a hybrid photographer and when I get my film scans back, I'm able to match my digital files to my film files in just a few clicks! It's made it so easy! Even when I don't shoot film on a session I know my work will stay consistent! So excited to get some time back!

I never believed in presets and the few that I did try just never gave me the results I was looking for. I recently stumbled across Mastin Labs and I couldn't be happier! I thought at first that they seemed expensive, and given my history with having mixed results with lightroom presets I almost passed on it. The amount of time I saved editing my last wedding made it worth every penny! Figuring out which preset works best for you couldn't be any easier, just take their preset quiz. My wife and I both took it and came to the conclusion that the Fuji Original pack was best for us. I never realized how much I liked Fuji color until now. I'm even going to buy Fuji pro 400h for when I'm shooting film and digital hybridly now. I'll likely get the Portra Original pack next for the same reason, especially since I already have about 30 rolls of it currently in my fridge. Thank you Mastin Labs for making presets that actually work!!!

I did get from Mastin Labs four presets for Capture one: Adventure Everyday, Ilford, Portra and Portra Push. I am absolutely amazed with the results of the application of the presets on my portfolio: the almost perfect integration with the Capture 1, the relation effort/results on editing, the consistency I am affording and, above all that, the supreme pleasure I get, are second to none. I have never considered myself a darkroom photographer but I have always forced to be. What you are doing with your presets free myself of 90% of work in the digital “darkroom” and at the same time gives me the "look and feel” of the good old film. Nothing compares to film but Mastin Labs presets compare best. Highly recommended.

PS Mastin Labs tutorials, where Kirk affirm himself as an example of modesty and competence, are gorgeous. Mastin Labs community on Facebook is absolutely amazing.

Mastin Labs has been top quality from the moment I started looking into preset packages with them. From the Preset Quiz on their website to help identify which preset package is best for each individual, to their Facebook community group for a wealth of knowledge in everything photography and preset related, to their prompt, friendly and helpful customer service, to their PHENOMENAL presets, I highly recommend Mastin Labs for their preset packs. My editing time has gone down in time drastically, with very easy to use steps, and top notch presets for perfect photos in maximum three steps. The video tutorials run by Kirk himself, using photos from the Mastin community, are so informative and I have learned so much more since watching them as well,

I have been using Mastin Labs presets for several years. Not only has Mastin allowed me to discover my own style and voice with my work, but these presents have enabled me to achieve consistency, establish an efficient workflow, and match my film scans with ease. I have used several other very popular presets and none compare to results I can achieve with Mastin.

There is no other online community that is as supportive and helpful, and I think it speaks volumes to his commitment to serving others through this work. Buy the presets, you will not regret it.

I’ve been a photographer for 8 years now and have always struggled with a consistent styles. I’ve seen so many trends come and go and I’ve always waited to see what would come next (not intentionally...I just did). First off, you still need to do your part on taking a decent photo, but Mastin Labs makes it easier for sure! Apply the preset by following the instructions. You're all set! Amazing presets and amazing service. I sent a few photos to them so they can apply the presets I like. Outcome was amazing and I was able yo replicate them. I'm a total amateur in this, but my pictures look very much professional now. I now have confidence that I'll be able to deliver work I can be proud of. Apply your own tweaks if you'd like. :)

I have always been skeptical about presets, I’ve actually never purchased any until I found Mastin Labs. The 3 step process is genius and makes editing easy! I will say, presets aren’t intended to fix a photo, this is a great recourse if you have a consistent shooting style and want your images to look real, and also maintain that timeless film quality! Mastin labs has so many great videos on how these presets are intended to be used so, dive deep in those vids to figure out which pack will best fit into your workflow! Here’s an example of how this benefited my biz. I edited 25 images using ML presets during dinner at my last wedding, took me about 10 min, and I had them all loaded on the iPad for my bride and her guests to see. Everyone was impressed and absolutely LOVED seeing their images before the reception was in full swing! You. Need. This.

So disappointed with these presets and the customer service and after talking to other professionals- I am not the only one. The presets look terrible and when I talked to customer service they were very unprofessional and unhelpful. Do not purchase these!

Doing commercial work, I'm very comfortable hand editing each photo in Lightroom/Photoshop. When working on a project that required a small catalog of images, I began thinking that this was a good time to try a Mastin Labs preset. I felt comfortable making my purchase because of the wealth of information from Kirk available on YouTube, and knowing that he truly wants to support the community he's built. It's very useful for learning which packs you'll want and what to expect and how to easily get the most out the presets. I was able to quickly get outstanding results without wasting time, and after handing in the project I immediately began reworking photos from my past catalog. Now the hardest part is deciding what order to purchase the rest of the packs I want.

I absolutely love Mastin labs. I purchased three presets from them and I can’t decide which ones I like the best. They take my photos to the next level and save me so much time. Don’t waste your money other presets. It’s worth the extra money to go with Mastin. I also enjoy the videos made by Mastin labs. They really want you to succeed!

I'm so in love with Mastin presets!!! The picture just pops with very little effort and the micro contrast really sets this presets appart for me. Literally a couple of clicks! I've bought many presets before and I thought something was wrong with my camera (nikon d780) because pictures still didn't look naturally sharp, or the colors were off and the overal picture just flat. I shoot family portraits and lifestyle, so it's important to me to make my clients happy. One click with these presets and skin tones get dreamy! I'm loving photography AND my camera again!
