It gets 1 star becuase I cannot pick zero. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.IT IS FRAUDULENT AND THEY ARE THEIVES.Long story short, got a coat paid 400 us. It came and it was like someone pissed all over the fur and left it out in the cold to dry. The leather was rock hard. The zipper broken. I have pictures if anyone would.like to see as it does not give you an option...I returned it. They recieved it as I kept tracking. They will not send me my money back. Do not be scammed by this company. You are not getting your money's worth. BUYER beware.

My husband ordered me a jacket and I was so excited because it ticked all the boxes for what I wanted in a jacket. It really does not live up to expectations.

The leather is 4 different grains (none of it full grain), the shearling is super scratchy and poor quality, and it’s too small, even though it’s a custom-sized order. We requested a refund and the options we were given were 1. to ship it back (at our expense) for a full refund - which was cost prohibitive from where we live based on duty tax - or 2. get 20% back and keep the jacket. We are keeping it and I’ll try to soften the shearling and live with it.

While they were quick to respond to the return request, the quality of the jacket leaves MUCH to be desired.

If you want quality, DO NOT buy a jacket from them.

Edit: I left a review on the mauvetree website and it initially posted but has since been removed. That seems a little weird to me.

Great customer service with fast response time. I placed an order for a jacket but cancelled after reading the reviews here. Hopefully they are working to improve what all the other reviewers were complaining about!

Edit2: My order arrived within a couple weeks, not too bad during a pandemic. The coat itself is real leather (can't comment on grade of leather but it seems decent) and definitely real shearling, of varying quality. The torso section is nice soft shearling but the arms are lined with a courser, rougher shearling. Still pretty good considering the price, I'd take the other reviews with a grain of salt.

Purchased a shearling jacket and was not satisfied with product. (Was not genuine leather) It looked completely different on the website than in person. Emailed the company and was offered 2 options. One send back for a full refund or keep it and receive 25% of what I paid for it. I chose the full refund. I sent the coat back, paid out of pocket for reshipping and it's been over a month with no refund. UPS tracking shows that the company received their merchandise back. AND THE COMPANY KNOWS THEY RECEIVED THEIR MERCHANDISE BACK, because at first UPS courier attempted to deliver the item and there was a problem with the address. I called the company and they said that they weren't aware of an attempted delivery. So, I contacted the courier service and we got the address situation all squared away and I contacted the company again and then it showed on their end that it was indeed delivered and my refund would be processed in a couple of days. But that was not before 10 emails from me with one stating by this company that the manager was alerted to refund me ASAP (mauvetree's customer service rep's words, not mine) It's clear that this company specializes in fraud and not customer service. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased a coat on the 9th of October and got it delivered in Holland on the 28th of october.
The brown B3 bomber sheepskin jacket is better than I expected to be. Size is good and im really happy with the quality!

Bought a shearling flying jacket from this company it turned up and was absolutely terrible in quality,colour and workmanship, fur was glued down on sleeves etc I wouldn’t pay £20 for this jacket let alone £190 so sent jacket back for a refund and nothing it’s been sitting in the USA for two weeks. Will try and claim money back off credit card. Avoid this company like COVID-19

Communication is horrible they never sent a tracking number told me I would get jacket 12-15 days later.30 days later no tracking, no jacket. Thank goodness for PayPal protection.

My item arrived a few days late. The description of the garment is technically accurate. The quality is my own fault for trying to find a bargain without physically checking the goods The communication required more attention.

I ordered the Mens Brown B3 sheepskin Bomber. It arrived very quickly and is beautiful. I was skeptical that maybe it would be faux leather or faux sheepskin but it is all genuine. I CANNOT wait until the seasons change so that I can put it on. Thank you guys!

Was a little worried after reading some of these other reviews, however my jacket did finally arrive after almost 2 months of waiting. Not thrilled with the long wait time, however my sherling jacket was actually surprisingly nice upon arrival. They did a good job of communicating and did not ignore any of my many inquiries for an update during the waiting period. A word of advice: ignore their recommendation to go up a size on sherling lined jackets. My normal size fit me perfectly fine. Had I gone up a size like they recommend the jacket would have definitely been too big.

Keep away from it!

It's been more than 3 months since I placed this order and meanwhile all of the communication was misleading and lots of lies. I asked for refund and there are no news about it so I filed a complaint to Consumer Protection.

Ordered a Shearling Jacket on 1st December 2019 it arrived I. febyafter sending numerous emails, on the website it advised me to order one size up but when it arrived it was too big so I have sent it back it’s 15th April the item has been delivered to the address they gave me but still no refund.

Ordered jacket, took a very long time to get it but finally arrived - wrong style :( and not a genuine leather (parts yes, but majority faux) so decided to contact seller and ask questions. Long story short was give an option to keep jacket for 25% refund or send it back at own expense and also pay customs charges so they will issue full refund! I've decided to send it back as some money back is better than non for this purchase. They have provided return address for CANADA, did cost me circa £40 to send back but hey ho. Item was tracked so finally arrived to provided destination, well sort of as it was put in postal box and never claimed as online history shows, despite recipient was notified. Seller is very bad at communication and still says they will get other department to get back to me, luckily I've paid with credit card and they are now dealing with it so there is still a chance I might receive some sort of refund. RIDICULOUS, AVOID as all they do is to play on time, luckily I managed to contact credit card provided 1 day before deadline passed for claim to be considered. Pretty website but products not as described, VERY SLOW and NOT TRUSTWORTHY SERVICE.

Let me start off by saying the jacket was actually made decently well.

The issue is with the company's absolutely horrendous customer service. I have spent no less than three weeks emailing back and forth about getting my jacket in the proper size.
When adding the jacket to your cart, the website prompts you to order a size larger as the inside of the jacket is lined. I heeded their warning and placed an order for a size larger than my measurements. The jacket I received was laughably big and the lining they'd mentioned was hardly even noticeable.
When I approached the company about fixing the situation, they suggested I mail the jacket back and select a different size on my own dime. By the time I receive a fitting jacket, I will have paid for shipping three times. After over 20 emails, they still will not consider covering the shipping, even though this whole problem only exists because of their website's warning.
This company absolutely does not care about the customer. Do not order from them.

The jacket took it's time to arrive. But arrive it did. The quality of the Shearling jacket is excellent. Top quality leather and genuine sheepskin. Looks great aswell. The wait, I can only put down to its manufacture? I would definitely consider Mauvetree if I wanted another jacket.

I ordered a jacket from this website which has yet to arrive. Before I bought the jacket, I used the chat feature on their website to double check that the jacket would be delivered by the 1st of February which is the date that I needed it by, as it was supposed to be part of a costume for my mum for her 60th birthday party. The online representative guaranteed that it would arrive by that date, and I sent several emails to follow up on the status of my order to ensure it would arrive on time. Every time I contacted mauvetree they assured me that it would arrive on time, and told me they would provide a tracking number shortly. Today they finally admitted that the item hasnt even shipped yet and it was supposed to be in Sydney, Australia by today. So beyond disappointed with this company and I recommend everyone avoid this company like the plague. Every time i emailed they lied to me and said it would arrive on time which lead me to believe it would be here, but now it is the day before the party and it hasn't even shipped yet which is pretty poor because I ordered over two weeks ago. Im now desperately trying to organise another jacket to arrive on time from a different website, but I am not hopeful. This company is a total s*** show and I would definitely warn others to steer clear in the future. Hopefully my mum can still find a use for her jacket when it finally arrives, but if their manufacturing quality is as trash as their customer service and business ethics then i doubt it will be worth the price I paid.

I’m online customer who purchased male jacket on mauvetree website and I have date of purchase and amount stated on the bank statement. The product received was very poor quality and I immediately contacted the e-mail address shown on mauve tree website for refund. I received an e-mail from mauve tree corporate e-mail which asked me to send jacket to the addressee given by them. The jacket was send and delivery attempt to addressee was made. I didn’t receive my refund and don’t know where is my jacket now. Mauvetree e-mail indicated on the website was copied in all e-mail correspondence and attempt to reach the telephone number indicated on the website was made. The number is fake and no-one responds to the number on the website. This is a serious scam and I will be contacting attorney for this case if I will not get update for the refund. This is the last attempt to reach you by e-mail. All chain of the e-mail correspondence will be provided to attorney.

PLEASE DON"T DEAL WITH THIS SCAM MAUVETREE WEBSITE

Took a very long time to get my jacket. Thought it was a scam until I finally received the jacket I ordered. Beautiful leather and wool. Just poor communication and service on companies behalf.
