Friendly, knowledgeable and on time!

I purchased 3 Mavis brand tires and paid for computer balancing and a 4 wheel alignment (which had just been done 2 months earlier). The mgr. stated it 3degrees out of spec so I consented to the alignment. I drove the car out and immediately noticed loud noise from the tires plus a vibration felt not onl;y in my steering wheel, but in my door panel. I returned to the dealer and complained and the mgr agreed to a test drive. We went out and he noticed not only the noise but the vibration. When we returned he pointed to my brake rotors and stated that the grooves worn in them could be the problem. I knew this wasnt true and demanded other tires. He told me he could give me Goodyears foro an addtl. $27 per tire and I said ok and left the car. He called the next day and stated that the casr was on the lift and that there was play in the transmission and also in the CV joints. I knew this was also untrue as the car rode and drove perfectly before the new tires were installed. I told him if he did not install the Goodyears, I would put a hold on my credit card. In a veiled threat, he told me our conversations on the phone were being recorded. I really hope he did as it's a felony in Pa. to record a phone conversation without both parties consent. I went back to the store and found that the Goodyears had been installed. He did give me a break on the price and it wound up about $50 cheaper than previously thought. He did make a note on the receipt that he thought a hub was bad. Which is it Mavis?....a bad hub, cv joint, transmission, or brake rotor. As an added note, the car was back to normal with the installation of the Goodyears.

Appreciated having my recent used car purchase eyeballed by an independent mechanic - trust the crew at Chalfont Mavis to be honest & upfront on car needs, very busy shop, were kind enough to fit in my appt right away, very satisfied with service!

The guys at my Mavis Chalfont always take great care of me and my family and today was no different. They got me in for a quick oil change and back on my way to work in short order. This is why we bring our cars here year after year!

I had some issues with my new tire installation with Mavis from a different location. Reached out the Chalfont location and they were eager to help. My vehicle was serviced as soon as I arrived and Tom and his team provided excellent service. Fingers crossed that this is the final fix of this issue for me!

Had my car in to John and his team yesterday; after dealing with a few different shops up until now, and all I can say is what a relief! John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but more importantly was a pleasure doing business with. The whole team was very welcoming and he/they communicated all the details so that for once, I actually felt comfortable with a mechanic shop. The service was great they replaced all 4 tires, my front brakes and rotors, detailed my rims (as a courtesy), and did my alignment. I called for availability, John got me in the following day and had me set up and ready to roll in 2 hours. That being said I highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced here and I for sure will be bringing mine in for any future work needed.
