I needed to find a good reliable honest place to take my car now that I’ve permanently moved to GA. I called Mavis and the nice gal on the phone told me, because I was getting multiple things done that I could get an oil change for $59. I went there and the mechanic told me he would change my back brakes for $535, after inspecting them carefully! When done, HE made up the bill and added $113 to it! I was in shock but I paid it, BUT went back two days later, and I talked to both of them. She agreed I had been quoted $59 for the oil change and he agreed that he had told me he would charge $535 for the brakes. THEY BOTH AGREED WHAT THEY HAD TOLD ME.. So why did HE add an extra $113 dollars to MY BILL? He would not make it right. So I got ripped off. I wanted to write a great review but I can’t! My brakes are still noisy and I’m afraid to go back because I don’t trust him! And I’ve overpaid and that really bothers me. Money is tight! I am very sad that this gentleman would not keep his word. I really wanted to use this garage and I cannot trust him. I haven’t had to deal with anybody else there so I assume the rest of the workers are honest. What would you do if you were me? I am very disappointed.
